    Elvis died when I was 10 years old and I cried like a baby. I’ve always known the love that folks had for Elvis but when I saw this grown man cry, I knew I wasn’t alone. Mr. Mac you are a good man and I enjoyed this story very much! You truly touched my heart!

    I worked in the funeral business in the early 80's in Knoxville, TN. I had to drive to Memphis one time to pick up a body & bring back to Knoxville for funeral & burial. I had the opportunity to meet the gentleman who embalmed Elvis & ask him questions about it. He assured me Elvis was indeed deceased! He showed me the specific preparation table that was used etc. Many people speculated it wasn't Elvis in the casket because he looked too thin compared to what his weight was just prior to passing! I tell people this IS normal. During the embalming process lots of fluid is taken off a body--especially when much of the apparent "weight" of a person is indeed fluid such as the case with Elvis. I have been a huge Elvis fan since childhood. Not to be morbid but I felt it a privilege to see a place where Elvis' body had been so lovingly prepared for burial. Other than that I had only been as close as the gates of Graceland (well before it was opened to the public because family still lived there). My experience is why I believe Elvis died that awful day. The Memphis embalmer assured me it WAS Elvis he worked on!! Long live The King!!

    What a sweet man and a kind soul. Thank you for sharing this story. God Bless you both.
    Even after all these years, it still amazes me how Elvis deeply touched so many of us. I was nine when Elvis passed and I remember not only crying at the news, but also feeling a personal loss. I'd never met Elvis or saw him in concert. But, I watched his movies, when I'd catch them on television. I'd hold up my tape recorder to the speaker and record the songs. My Dad would play Elvis tapes in the car, so I guess that's probably how I came to know about him. My parents passed in the 80s, so I never got to ask them about their love of Elvis of the impact of his passing on them. But, from watching archival footage, his passing affected people around the world. It still does.
    Now, with Lisa Marie passing just two weeks ago, I'm saddened again. The news has also caused me to reflect on 1977 and that opened the door to a lot of other memories around that time.

    No Peggy, My wife died because she had fluid around her heart. I stayed with her 21 days and nights in the hospital as they tried to remove the fluid with no luck. They said they had done all they could and I would have to find another place for her, I brought her home and she died the next night. It was a marriage made by God and we spend 56 lovely years together in a lovely marriage. She was the only lady in my life and I loved her so very vey much, even tho it's been about 9 months I still cry every time I think about her or go to our burned out home. It's why I made such a mess of the Spa guy's video, I got to thinking about my wife and Elvis at the same time. God Bless you. (Mac)

      I grieve over Elvis all the time. He was good to my mother. She has asked me not to tell the story on social media. I have to respect that for now. Anyway I have loved Elvis since I was about ten. My jeep has sirius radio. They have an Elvis station. All Elvis 24/7. It is the only station allowed to be played in my car. That has been the rule for six years now. If I am not in the car, they damn well put it back to Elvis when they exit the vehicle. ;-) I hope you are feeling better, sir.

    During Joe Esposito's interview, he stated when he found Elvis on the bathroom floor, he was already gone. Rigor Mortis had already started to set in. Elvis had fallen onto the floor while sitting on the toilet, when he had the heart attack. So he wasn't DOA. Elvis was long gone before ever being transported to the hospital. Mac crying over Elvis made me cry. SO SAD.

    This precious man! I was a little girl and I remember that day so vividly. My Mama came home from work...she just left...and she was a mess! She turned on the tv, the radio and started pulling out all her Elvis albums, sat on the living room floor with tissues and just bawled! It was so sad. People were very affected by his death. He had such a presence and really moved those he came in contact with from what people said (my mama saw him live when he was just starting out, before he was big. They got to meet him if I remember correctly and a friend she was with tried to jump off the balcony onto the stage...lol!). This man really expresses the way so many fans felt when the news broke that day.

    I am a SGF more and more everyday. This video was very interesting , but my opinion is ED. I believe that even though Elvis was DOA , they STILL tried desperately to bring him back. We cannot undo God's decision.
    Mac was a sweet , sincere man. I went through many bad things for several years after my husband passed as well. I know how the devil tries to break our faith. Not me! I love my Lord. I had a nervous breakdown , and God sent a 76 year old Godly woman to mentor me. She had several gifts of the Holy Spirit. Long story short , God LITERALLY hugged me using her arms , and spoke to me with her voice. He taught me how to have a closer relationship with him. I would love for you to do interviews with people who had supernatural experiences with God. He is amazing!
    P.S. They covered Elvis face , because they didn't want anyone to know it was him. Also , they rushed in fast in hopes to bring him back , and nobody looks the same when their body is dead or dying. Nothing odd about this.

    First off, Mac is an incredibly strong and sincere man . What a blessing it must have been for you to be able to spend time with such a truly extraordinary and transparent individual. I like yourself could spend hours just listening to him not only in regards to Elvis but also in regards to his life and those that surround and love him. Truly a blessing. In closing, it reminded me of the time I got to spend with some close relative's of J.James that I got to stay with over a weekend in which I not only got to listen to the family stories but I was able to handle physical articles that he and his loved ones owned,as well as getting to view and read personal letters and ledgers that were in his own hand . To validate my previous recollection, there are 5 cameo's she owned ....yes I've viewed and held those very cameo's ,as well as a couple of other very noted articles . Hi Spa Guy , I've only just came across your UA-cam channel and I'm absolutely hooked, I could watch these all day and night, everyone is fascinating so much history and such loyal fans and kind hearted genuine people, thanks so much. I was 6 years old when Elvis died and I can still remember the news flash coming on the TV at home in Sunderland, UK, my aunts boyfriend was a massive Elvis fan and he was also watching with us it's something that I'll never forget. Thanks so much 👍 Gary

    God bless you Mr Mac. Great yet very sad memory. Billy you and I spoke about these ppl with the thumbs down. The same ppl every time is my guess. So why do they even bother watching. Probably Elvis haters and not fans. Keep up the good work. We always live Elvis.

      WENDY PARKS People just probably leave a “thumbs down” because they are wanting attention. People can be weird. But I’ve read every message so far, and NO “thumbs down” at all!! That’s a first!! Maybe Spa Guy scared them off!! 😜👍🏻

    • @odiekarone
      @odiekarone 5 років тому

      WENDY PARKS By the way, anybody that’d leave a “thumbs down” on Mr. Mac’s story in my opinion is EVIL!! I don’t care what their opinion is, because if they are that nasty, and take pleasure in a person’s pain.. they deserve a beating!! Thank God Elvis fans are GOOD and COMPASSIONATE people that care about others in pain and in need. Just like Elvis did. God bless 🙏🏻💗

    Heartbreaking..... Remembering the Day Elvis passed now, My Mom cried most of that day. I was 14 years old. Mac getting choked up hit me kinda hard. Elvis Presley was an Amazing Spirit. Losing him at such a young age was just Wrong... Management worked Elvis too hard, they took advantage of him... This should have NEVER happened... Thank you, Spa Guy, love your content and your Love for Elvis as well.

    Maybe the Spa Guy's videos aren't for everybody, but I'm just fascinated by them. I loved Elvis. I also love first-person accounts of historical events. This Mr.McQueen was quite a find. I think he was embarrassed for getting choked-up, but it added so much heart to the story. Those defibrillator paddles are probably worth a small fortune, but I admire the fact that Mac never sold them. Some things are worth more to us than money. Another great little documentary, thanks for posting it for all of us to learn from and enjoy. Amazing.
