Jeff McDonald That was quick. Midnight here in the U.K. I spent a year farming in NZ in 1979 !!! Absolutely loved it and visited countryside very near you. Remember driving a newish JD 2130 !! That's how long ago it was.
Hi Jeff, beautiful machine - ordering one for ourselves for this spring in NSW - what size tyres are you running? They seem perfect for what we want, our terrain is very similar to yours. I assume the tractor stability in the hilly country is pretty good? keep up the vids, nice work
Luke B Hey, i ordered it with Trelleborg tyres as we had such an awesome run out them on the last tractor. 40% tread at 5000hrs. This one has 600r38s on the back and 540r34s on the front. They are on the flanged rims, and are right out as far as they will go, which gives good stability. Good luck on your purchase, they are a very nice machine.
Jeff McDonald thanks for the reply Jeff, great to know about the Trelleborgs. I'm replacing our 6330 and 6430, both came with firestones factory which aren't much chop (both machines done 5000 hours and well due for new rubber). I'm ordering indent from the factory so want to get it right with wheels and tyres. Definitely going the loader suspension too. Did you get the power-beyond hydraulic by any chance?
Luke B I ordered indent too, replaced a 6230 premium. The loader runs off power beyond, but didnt order it for implements out the back as I don't have any that use it. Got tls and cab suspension, which is probably a bit flash for the farm, but makes for a beautiful ride and awesome grip. Adblue usage has been very small, using approx 10l/100hrs.
Jeff McDonald we are definitely getting TLS, trying to justify a front linkage too (probably should get the 130 extra 10hp instead, but can't blame me for liking toys! Was going to ask about the AdBlue, most guys around here are opting for the M series machines as you can still get a Tier3 with EGR, I'm more trusting of the AdBlue I think. We don't update machines very often, so looking forward to getting the best we can afford. Appreciate the advice and replies - love the look of your place over there
Great Video Jeff, the baler takes me back, thanks for sharing
You should listen to your baler, you have a couple pick up teeth broke. I can hear them. Good video. I have a 6125M and 575 baler . They work great.
Nice video

Nice one Jeff Alex R
nzfarmboy80 cheers mate.
Good Video, one suggestion, you need to raise the power pivot so your driveline is straight.
Great video, where is this filmed.?
fergie35X Thanks. Reporoa, New Zealand

fergie35X Yes the times have definitely moved on. I started on a 3140, when I was a young one. These new machines are an absolute dream to operate.
How much cost
What kind of rake do you use?
That was with Claas 680 twin rotor. We now use Claas 2800 twin rotor.
