    Those NH balers love big windrows like that
    I've done a paddock once that I had my IVT JD dialed up at 32 kph to make a square bale

    Well it looks like you are maintaining your field right, to produce the hight and the thickness of hay you want or need, looks great keep it up.

    That little baler sure is smooth working, consistent output too.
    At least with that vertical exit chute, you can see if you have a missed tie.
    Only downside to that accumulater is that you can see if you have any blockage issues - perhaps the fitment of a small remote camera might be in order ?
    I'd hate to go into a crop that thick and not be able to monitor every stage. Get it done and done once - the weather is not your friend when it comes to baling your crop.

      We have a camera at the knotters as far as one on the accumulator I think might work but we are use to looking through the opens in the bottom I don't feel the need, and yes make hay while the sun is out the weather is not our friend for sure. Thanks for watching

    I really like that gathering wheel that you have. I have never seen that on a square baler before, only a round baler.

    • @rohrfarms
      @rohrfarms  9 місяців тому +1

      We added it because our rotor rake makes a large windrow and even with the rake all the way in to make a small windrow the baler is only 6" wider than the row

    Those wind rows are freekin massive!! What is your record per acre production? Would be a deam to have a field of hay like that. Wow.

      On that field on this day we made 142 bales per acre we are now averaging 111 currently, thanks for watching

    How do like the bale accumulator and what do use to pick them up off of the field. Is it the kind that puts string around the outside or no

    • @rohrfarms
      @rohrfarms  29 днів тому

      Love the accumulator we have now sold our 10 bales and moved up to the 18 bale we use Norden's tie grabber on out skid steer to pickup the bundles check out those videos on our channel and thanks for watching

    How do you like the 5060 baler? Does it make a good consistent uniform bale?

    • @rohrfarms
      @rohrfarms  Рік тому

      It's a 2019 model and yes I do like it, it does make consistent bales as long as you keep it full going through the pickup head just like many other balers

    Where did you get that pickup rake wheel?

      @@rohrfarms I’ll have to keep my eye out for one then. Do you by chance have a Facebook, Instagram or a way of getting in touch with you? I’d like to get some pictures of how you have that wheel mounted if you could. I’d greatly appreciate it !

    Do you regret getting the 5060. I'm going to look at a nh 575 and a 2008 nh bc 5060 and im on the fence about buying the 5060 since it has a smaller pickup. Whats your thoughts?

    • @rohrfarms
      @rohrfarms  Рік тому

      I really like our 5060 yes it does have only a 5' head but I would NOT buy a 5070 nor would I go older than this 5060 I have had great luck with mine ran over 125k bales through it

    • @rohrfarms
      @rohrfarms  Рік тому

      @@powerram92 What I heard it was the same baler as the 5060 but with a bigger head and it causes many plunger problems, you can see many 5070's for sale not many 5060's

      @powerram92 Рік тому

      @@rohrfarms true about the balers not being for sale. Thanks for the info I pulled the trigger on a used 5060 today so hopefully I have just as good of luck as you. lol Also does that wheel on the side of the pickup help?

    • @rohrfarms
      @rohrfarms  Рік тому +1

      @@powerram92 it does for us just because the width of the windrows our rake makes
