Broken Axle On 7 Mile Rim

- During Jeep Safari we got a call about a TJ that had broke a rear axle shaft on the first set of ledges on 7 Mile Rim Trail. So we decided to take both wreckers. Ol Blue was the right one for the job, but in case we needed tools we decided to bring Trailmater along. Once up there I realized it would be a fairly easy tow out so decided to let Shawn drive Ol Blue out while I rode in the towed jeep. Was definitely a fun time and things went very smooth. We got it down off the trail and then hauled it in to a shop to have the work done and get them back out on the trail. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

What you are experiencing is what everybody who has some level of fame goes through. It may not be right but some people will do anything to make money off of someone else's fame. Sorry but it is the way fame works or seems to work. Keep your chin up we all like your videos and your crew is great fun. People will intrude when they see you. Heard a famous actor say a guy at the urinal wanted to shake hands as they were both doing business. Hope this does not happen to you. You are right we all make mistakes but God forgives when we ask for forgiveness and I try to do better the everyday...

My exwife used to complain thaf we couldn't go anywhere without someone recognizing me. For that reason I never got into the social media thing. With the advent of the internet and especially social media people no longer have boundaries on others personal lives. I watch for the rescues, beautiful UT scenery, and the awesome rigs. I stopped by the shop in the early morning a week after Easter on my way back to MI from CA. Just stopping by to get a hoodie. Surprised to see the crew (Rory, Shawn, Mike) there talking about what was they were going to do for the morning. They were very accommodating to me, with small talk and letting me take pictures with them. A class act all around.

I had an extremely stressful day, and the first thing I did when I got a chance to relax is watch your video. It just brought all the stress of the day down to a level I could handle. I was just going to get my picture with Trail Mater, but you guys took the time to talk to us and we got pictures with you too. Bonus!!! You are great and we love watching.

If he chooses to share info and photos on Facebook is his right and he owns those photos and information. Frankly Rory needs to contact UA-cam and ask to them to issue a take down notice or simply delete the video themselves! This person who posted it is wrong on so many levels!!

A month ago if somebody told me that in 30 days I'd be binge-watching a bunch of Offroad Recovery videos of some dude and his team out of Moab, UT ... I would've said "What the heck are you smoking???" A few weeks ago I accidentally stumbled across one of your videos on UA-cam and now I'm hooked! In any case, I find your videos very interesting, entertaining, and informative ... and most intriguing to me is your ability to get that really cool wrecker you built, into some crazy sketchy areas, and then cut/weld/fab (and tow if necessary) out in the field to help get people back on 4 wheels again ... your skills are quite impressive. As for the tail-end of this latest video, all I can say is that you handled the issue with class dude! Reminded me of the movie "8-mile" where Eminem throws all his dirt on the table himself and in effect totally leaves his nemesis without any ammo! It sucks that somebody (who clearly lacks any level of class) would even put you in that situation to begin with, but kudos to you for handling it the way you did. Love your videos bro ... keep 'em coming! Hope to swing by next time I'm in Moab and show support by buying one of your shirts (and wearing it with pride up here in Lehi) ... and of course if I break down while I'm there, you know which shop I'll be calling!

5/7/23 just passing through Moab from Florida and saw your shop and Trailmater and had to stop for the obligatory photo. To my surprise you pulled up in your Jeep and declared you weren’t there, but were gracious enough to pose for a photo-op. I’ve been following you a couple years and truly enjoy your channel. Don’t let the naysayers get to you and just ignore them. You don’t owe them the time of day as I’m sure they’ve never done 1/10 the work and public service you have. Rory, fame has its down side. Rather than being upset with people then upsetting them, then feeling guilty about it, let people know when they are welcome, when they aren't. and please respect your privacy. Then if anyone goes against your stated wishes, you can ask them to leave, or excuse yourself and leave them. If they are real fans, there won't be any backlash, they will understand.
