If you're looking for a great carry on bag, check out the Monos metro duffel bag. It's well organized, and the metro kit is a game changer. I just recently took this bag with me to Europe and being able to detach the kit was super handy while flying. I had no problem taking it on Ryan Air, British Airways, or TAP as my personal item along with my Monos Carry-On Pro.

Great video! I purchased the carry on pro in blue (I don't know the official name but I love this shade of blue!)and recently added the metro duffel in ivory (I think that's what they call it)vegan leather, which to me looks and feels like real leather and the color is beautiful! I watched so many videos about this duffel and watching yours helped me make the decision to buy it. I was lucky it was on sale $207. Can't wait to use it in a few months. Thank you! I'm glad it was helpful in making your decision. I used the duffel on two trips and its great. I love the detachable front part and even carry it when I'm not taking my duffel. It's nice to be able to store my airpods, passport, and phone in there for quick access and then stow my bigger bag.

did you find that the nylon smells really bad? I bought one recently and I can't get over the plastic smell. Maybe it gets better with time but I am thinking of getting the vegan leather instead.
Mine didn’t have strange smell out of of the bag, but I imagine airing it out for a bit will help.

Of course! And yes it would be considered a personal item. It meets the measurements set by most airlines. You might just have to pop the kit on the inside if they are super strict about sizing.
