Just purchased 2022 CX-30 Turbo Premium Soul Red white interior with 2,600 miles yesterday. Bose sounds great. Rich & Deep! Only complaint, I wish it had a subwoofer volume level.
Amazed at how the same brand system can sound drastically different from one vehicle to the next, even in the same brand. I know car audio is not easy, but most deficiencies of D & C tier systems can be fixed at the assembly level with additional sound deadening and isolation materials. Does this mean added cost, yes, but that is easily wrapped up in the cost of the vehicle. If it cost $20 more, add $200 to the msrp.
I’m on my third Mazda cx5. I had the base 2014 which was pretty bare bones lol but it got good gas mileage. Then for 2017 got the grand touring with premium package and the 10 speaker Bose and I loved that car so much. Now I’m in a 2020 basically same thing but different color that I’m sick of. Not sure what I want for my next car but might switch it up maybe. Not wild about the plastic on the cx30 or the smaller size but the sportiness makes me want to try it.
Is there a "advanced settings" option like there is on the non-Bose version to customize the EQ? In non-bose versions of the car you can change the EQ between various presets like Rock or Pop, and you can even customize your own EQ and save it.
Hello! First of all, amazing review! Definitely subscribing. I just have a question. I have a lot of music in a portable 1TB SSD with an USB 3.0 interface, do you know if the system support that kind of devices or if there's a limit of storage supported?
DM sound, whats your opinion do you like more dashboard soundstage or center of the car soundstage? Nowdays new cars have lot of speakers but is it really necessary? Usually professional audiophiles prefer dashboard sound stage and less speakers but car makers put so many speakers and i’m just thinking whats the point of that, Is more better? Example If you want a good stereo image you dont need 15speakers? You only need good front speakers, sub and dsp amplifier.
The number of speakers is all marketing in my opinion. I bet if you let a real audio guy put in some high quality components, they could make do with 4/6 speakers and a sub, all properly amped, that would embarrass a lot of these 12-20 speaker setups.
Imo, the CX30 bose stereo sucks because there is no low end, whether it’s hooked up to Bluetooth, or Apple CarPlay. Recently, I hooked up my iPhone to a 2013 Hyundai ELANTRA with the auxiliary input and I actually thought there was a subwoofer hidden in the car somewhere because the base actually hit the low notes that the CX 30 can’t play. Granted the mids and highs weren’t as clear, but the overall listening experience with substantially better than the “premium” CX30.
This has to be the most untrue thing i’ve ever heard in my life. i had a 2013 elantra premium trim and the speakers were HORRIBLE, even with aux. They were weak, flat, and just not good.
@diegoborja5356 after a few attempts, the Mazda has better speakers bit you have to use android auto to get good sound of them. I have an S24 ultra with USB player pro and I never knew the speakers could sound that good.
I'm with Mazda for life
Thanks?

The reality is that most people dont care for audio that much . So the manufactures are lazy with doing It that good .
I love this channel ❤❤
In the Mazda audio system they call it the acoustic system they have in have a nine band equalizer

It's hard to recommend a car in that class that's better to drive than the CX-5. Maybe a CPO Macan?

I wonder if Honda's Bose will sound better in the next Accord, Crv and Pilot, or if they'll pull a GM and be sloppy with their Bose systems.
Honestly the Bose system in my 2018 Canyon slaps !
How is driving comfort overall for a tall person in CX 30?
Is the sound different if you use tidal instead of spotify?
About speakers locations, i cannot find speakers down foot, where are they?
If I remember correctly, they're in the firewall and you cannot see them.

@@OnTheRocks71 yeah at home 1+1 good studio speakers sound great for everything. I don't get it why small car cabins would require tons of speakers.
Nice video! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
i wonder how the new miata holds up

FM exhaust and top down...who needs audio...
Can I also hear my music from a USB stick in the CX-30 ?
Yes
@@DailyMotorSound Great...thank you! I think about to buy a CX-30 this spring...
Do you think the normal 3 or this CX30 sounds better?
Honestly they're too close to call. Both very good.
