Many years ago I ran my old Rover car on gas and made a valve that let gas through on demand, so no gas until suction from the inlet valve and that worked very well I would think a suction valve would be ideal for HHO.
do suction valves stop the gas from flowing back like a flashback arrestor? or did you have to add them both onto your gas line.
The flashback arrestor up against the intake is a smart move. I would place seals between the plastic washer and the intake to make sure it is air tight and possibly a seal between the arrestor and washer as well.

Briggs 18HP Lawn mower engine ran on water in carb 2008. 6-10amp pulses THROUGH SPARK PLUG from on board ring dual alternator with late ATDC timing, Small Hydrogen formed at plug + water vapor pressure same time. S1R9A9M9 discovered this new process. Self sustained as ignition high volts is by Magneto - not battery coil. Triple hand wound coil forms magnetic field over plug wire extending timeing 0-minus 34 degrees. Accessory spark gap required while EGR of embedded nitrogen compoinnds increases efficiency if used. Battery start, then disconnected. See videos 1+2!

Great job, but if you let the engine suck vacuum from hho it's will work better and the production of hho under vacuum more higher than normal, the more vacuum the lower current.

The plastic plate is to stop heat sink into the carb. That can cause fuel vapourisation in petrol/2 stroke engines..
If there is a plastic plate as you call it? Also looks like a spacer, it is normally there as a heat sink, so that the carburettor
does not get too hot. This is to stop the petrol evaporating from the carburettor before use!
Looking at your drawing, it looks like there would not be enough diameter to feed the engine?
Mind you, this is probably not to scale.

Try advanced timing just before tdc for knock correction i believe it could be cause in ur valve issues hydrogen has slight imploding effect just before explosion
hydrogen burns soooo fast that the spark needs retarding
Combustion stroke both valve intake and exhaust are normally close,so much better you install one way valve from the hho line,to avoid flash back thats it.

I want to say "Remove the intake push rod, leave the welder on the shelf." as a simpler means to accomplish the same thing.

the pre-ignition in these engines is usually hard set on several deg before tdc
pure HHO implodes
so when the HHO enters the cylinder, it has a "high" volume.
when ignited, HHO converts back to water
water has 1/1800th the volume of HHO and thus you het a vacuum at several deg before TDC ....
its strong enough to make the engine run :)
A gas engine is also an air pump, since your design restricts most air flow it will be interesting to see how it performs.
you can see the engine running in one of our videos, it did run well but consumed alot of fuel.
Yes ICE are air pumps that generate lots of heat. Any restriction in the air intake will decrease the efficiency of the engine.

I wonder if a SLS metal printer made lattice structure would provide adequate surface area. To the best of my understanding efficiency of the generator is what holds this back from mainstream use.

Would it work in car if injected in air intake mixed with gasoline? Do I have to mess with ecu sensors?

why is it easy to get distracted with Nox emissions. when the advantage of hydrogen is that the IC engine needs to be redesigned , it should not be air breathing ,
1. you can remove the inlet valve as HHO mixture already contains proportionate hydrogen and oxygen mixture 2:1 as a provision through fuel injectors or carburetors (whichever is efficient for ignition)
2. with only a exhaust valve meaning less complexity and wear and tear of valves is reduced by half .
3. for lean or rich fuel mixture ratios - the HHO generator using electronically calculated ratios with a minimal buffer storage of oxygen in isolated chambers.
(probably modifying fuel injectors to create HHO truly at the last mile or on-demand. )
with fuel injectors based hho production just like inkjet i believe the you get nascent hydrogen and , nascent oxygen.
How do you calculate how much hho gas volume you need based on the specific engine and cylinder size, along with a rough estimation for how long you can run it.
I found an HHO generator model that puts out about 2.5 LPM, I think if I doubled the model 5 LPM would be enough to fuel an engine like this. He runs the engine at 50 PSI in a later video, so I think I would need a generator that produces 4.2 LMP, if I can get an output of 5 it would be perfect.
Based on my calculations 4.2 liters/minute at 50 PSI will produce 2.1 LMP per cylinder.
Since the flashback arrestor has a diameter of 1/4", so the max flow of gas at 50 PSI is about 2.1 but your gonna need one per cylinder, and lawnmower engines usually have 2.
TDLR: 4.2 liters/minute at 50 PSI will produce 2.1 LMP per cylinder. You should shoot for a gas flow of 5 LMP though to be safe.

@@AirGunPoland I beleive so. Those calculations were based off of this particular 2 cylinder lawnmower engine. 6LPM would take a lot of power, so if you're planning on powering the HHO generator with the electricity from the electric generator, while it should work, don't expect to have much extra power in reserve.
I wonder if the timing of the spark can be advanced to after top dead center to prevent flash back, due to the nature of the way HHO burns

The timing should be retarded to Top dead centre for safe operation, but to get the most out of the fuel I found that timing can be just before top dead centre, but if you go to far then piston slap can occur.

Have you tried using a small car LPG gas regulator because it worked for me but as you have already noticed that the HHO unit does not produce enough pressure and gas to keep the engine running if we can work that out it would run.
yes LPG carb does work but for pure hydrgen only, we used a LPG carburettor in one of our other videos.
using a LPG carb for HHO didnt work so well for us.
can you run 100% on HHO gas? May be if you know your create HHO kit according to Car AMPS

Does not it create a vacuum at first start, (if you block air intake) that prevents it from turning over at the pull of the pull start?
I'm sure it would do. I tested the method and it did work, and was very easy to turn over by the pull cord still.

Some Acetylene ones say they are compatible with hydrogen up to 3bar so don’t see why you couldn’t use them,
When obtaining hydrogen from hydrolysis for energy storage and to run an engine at a later time to generate electricity, would you store is as HHO or Hydrogen?
I would recommend pure hydrogen gas, it’s harder to get but is safer.

the problem im discovering with bottling hho is that pressure will just re condense back into water. so what you need is to configure a dry fuel cell to separate its manufacture of hydrogen and oxygen, then you can bottle either separately. I think the highest psi I've heard of before weird stuff starts to happen to the hydrogen is around 2000-2800psi. anything past that and you're entering the realm of liquid hydrogen and that requires liquid nitrogen to keep cool otherwise as it heats back up in the bottle at 3000psi, that pressure will continue to increase and now you have a pipe bomb. So just separate the hho into h2 and oxygen and then you can use valves to remix at the combustion source. make sure you have flashback arrestors, and somethign to dial down the released gas, because hydrogen can self ignite from its own friction generated from leaving the bottle. The dream is to make a system where you can generate your own gas at home (maybe solar powered), and bottle it yourself. This lets us circumnavigate the need for $10k batteries or expensive gasoline. NEVER USE CO2 BOTTLES TO STORE HYDROGREN OR OXYGEN>>> CO2 BOTTLES ARE RECYCLED/AGED BOTTLES ON THEIR LAST LEG OF LIFE> NOT SAFE>

@@protein.planet-uae i would assume that the pressure would cause the h2 and O to recombine into h2o=water.. you have to separate them. plus i've always heard because they do different stuff at different pressures, you can have spontaneous combustion if you pressurize hho. so yeah.. split your hydrogen and oxygen production before bottling or you're gonna have a bad time seems to be the general consensus.. don't go past like 2800psi either.. and don't use recycled co2 bottles.

Is yours blocked? For that to work, your HHO production has to volumetrically match the cylinder volume, right? Maybe match it as propane air/fuel ratio..
Good point, but the engine will run with a small amount off HHO at a time, but yes you will need to make alot of gas per minute, for example a 200cc Engine will need at least 8 to 10lpm of gas.
If you mix it with air from the atmosphere the gas will become less powerful.
Hydrogen tends to run very lean. JCB found that an issue with their diesels. But they got it working perfectly 👍
I was thinking of such a project.
One in which HHO was produced by photovoltaic panels via electrolysis, then the HHO to be used by power generator converted to burn hydrogen like yours.
And replacing a battery storage with a HHO balloon.
Will that work fine?
Personally I would use pure hydrogen not hho gas.
So like you said, you could use solar to make electricity to make pure hydrogen, then store the pure hydrogen safely in a gas tank (you shouldn't store hho gas). Then run the generator on the hydrogen when needed.

What about choke 100% and feed gas into fuel line that should be about the same thing? The other thing i was planning is the HHO bubbles through bottle of gasoline?
run your hho line into the fuel feed hose is looking for trouble -carby bowl willfill up with hho and will ignite blowing the carby off the engine

The modern cars have a lot of sensors which makes the use of HHO pretty challenging.
adding more air to the burn helps, so you got that part wrong , 0ther wise it would be a closed system
HHO is made up from 'Hydrgen, Hydrogen and Oxygen' this is the perfect ratio for combustion, therfore no extra air is needed.
I bought a kit from Labellahho but they are no help at all. Anyone knows it can recommend me a shop in southern California where I can install the kit. I'm have a 2018 Chevy Silverado

HHO on a 2 stroke would be very difficult, as any flashbacks from the combustion chamber would into the crankcase igniting the HHO in there too, not impossible though.

You need large production HHO , with out resonance it is impossible. You need more learn Nikola Tesla patents, other way you are in Dead End

You might get some computer error messages and codes screaming at you . But there are ways to correct for this problem
I suggest you do alot of research first... Hydrogen is one of the safest gases out there but can also be one of the deadliest...

Its all about timing.
You can’t store large quantities of HHO since it’s way too dangerous , I can’t imagine a scuba tank filled with this stuff at 200 psi going off .. that’s worse than a bomb .
yes storing HHO gas is very bad. would only ever recommend storing pure hydrgen gas.

Why not direct inject the HHO?
You could, that’s would be a lot better too, but more complicated to make, this was just an easy alternative.
A little bit over engineered IMHO.. Can just make a metal block for the carburetor hole with a 3/8 8mm quick hose connector..

HHO can be used along side petrol, but this demonstration was showing an engine running purely on HHO gas.
2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen alone, so a lot of hydrogen gas is needed. More oxygen is needed for economy.
Dude where's your car running..and no you need 13H to 87O. It can vent to atmosphere if hho hose is not by the carb.yip put your hho into by the butterfly as close as possible.also H can escape a 2mm gap and octane cannot. Dude are you sure an erred your model!!!!!!!
