As an experienced mechanic I can tell you that if you feed the carburator with hydrogen using the fuel line it won't work, the reason is very simple : the carburator uses the fuel that goes into a lower reservoir underneath. Hydrogen won't go in there because is way too light. You must inject the hydrogen through the carburetor air intake so that it can be naturally aspirated by the carburator. If you try it that way it will work flawlessly. Hydrogen is way more efficient as fuel than gasoline and diesel. You are just feeding the carb the wrong way.

All you need is a DC power supply with a current of only 5 amperes to generate enough hydrogen to power this engine on its own without gasoline, the problem is that you have not taken into account one agent that is added to the water, namely koh, i.e. potassium hydroxide, which the guy at liberty engine talks about, that it is a mysterious super special powder and it is potassium hydroxide which, when reacted with water, becomes very explosive and accelerates the reaction itself, forget about it, and use rainwater, not tap water. The second thing is that high frequency of electricity, high voltage, but low current also works wonders. that you have never dreamed of when it comes to electrolysis
The "liberty" generator didn't use potassium hydroxide, or sodium hydroxide. I've been making generators and learning about them myself for almost 10 years. A watcher of their channel sent them a special patented compound that the government has control over, it's literally a powderized form of multiple hydrogen atoms called something like HH+. You can't get a hold of it and it's the only reason they were able to make so much gas with so little amperage to be able to power the engine. That 1 bubble every 10 seconds isn't going to drive any engine that's in use anywhere today. Search UA-cam for H2GO Now. THey made a system over a decade ago that drove a police cruiser, and it juiced about 250 amps, took up 80% of the trunk compartment, and pumped out 120liters per minute of gas. That's what it takes to drive a car engine using potassium or sodium hydroxide. And that's why the government doesn't want anyone getting a hold of that hydrogen solid compound, because politicians are paid in tens of millions (or more probably) to keep that stuff off the market so we keep having to buy gas. It's possible if you had the right metals you could make a system that could get hot and produce way more hydrogen as temperature increased, but metals start breaking down real quick even at 120 degrees F.

His engine stopped because the surface area of the metal used for electrolysis is too small. With a coil and some magnets on the side of the motor, you only need the battery for 1 minute when starting, the rest, once the motor is started, it provides its own current for electrolysis.

use the graphite instead of stainless steel - it will produce more hho with the same of power supply you use for ss , and take only Hydrogen gas inserting to carburetor ( for safety reason) , let the carburetor taking air as normally did and made adjustment on carburetor air screw according hydrogen gas : air ratio ..( AFR 34 : 1 for hydrogen , AFR 14.7 : 1 for Gasoline ) ..

I remembered the pull cord and put a pulley on the shaft. Then i bolted a Chevy alternator on the generator. The alternator is for the fuel cell. My 5500 watt generator runs for 5 days on 1 gallon of water. I don't use a carburator. I pipe it straight into the intake.

hola te falto modificar la entrada de aire en el filtro de aire , no conectaste una bateria nueva , no regulaste el carburador al arrancarlo, en el minuto 2:47 cortaste la manguera del combustible para poner una T sin tener encuenta que el combustible tambien entraria al sistema y de tener un arresta llamas se llenaria de combustible convirtiendose en una bomba de tiempo, las arandelas que usaste no son de acero inoxidable y no son la cantidad requerida . Hasta para hacer un huevo frito ... hay que seguir la receta y " despues de que te sale" se la modifica para tratar de mejorarla . saludos desde Misiones , Argentina. Gracias por el comentario y los consejos. Admito que realmente no ajusté la entrada de aire, no conecté una batería nueva ni ajusté el carburador. Colocué el conector en T para poder arrancar el generador con gasolina y luego cerré el tanque de combustible para evitar que la gasolina y el hidrógeno se mezclaran, y abrí la válvula para el hidrógeno. En cuanto a las arandelas, son de acero inoxidable y su cantidad es aproximadamente la misma que en el video que seguí como guía, inspirado en el canal Liberty Engine.
@@engineer_peter ya que hiciste el gasto y si solo es para saber si funciona o no : remplasa las arandelas por aluminio y vas a ver mejor produccion de hidroxilo . se usa acero inoxidable ( del que no se imanta) para que dure en el tiempo , en cambio el aluminio que es mas barato , es facil de conseguir, se va gastando con el tiempo y te obliga a cambiarlo cada 2 meses ( segun el tiempo que lo uses al generador por dia ) . Alternatively, you could add a fuel cell that converts hydrogen along with oxygen into electrical energy, similar to the Toyota Mirai, where hydrogen combines with oxygen in a fuel cell, creating an electric charge in this chemical reaction, which is captured and converted into the rotational motion of an electric motor that could drive a generator. In any case, I wanted to verify if it's as simple as presented by the Liberty Engine channel to convert a gasoline generator into a hydrogen-powered one.

@engineer_peter I guess what I'm trying to say is. In my understanding HHO doesn't combust like gasoline or natural gas, it's different, I heard it explained that its more of an implosion and when it combusts with moisture present in the chamber it turns the moisture to steam and increases your combustion chamber pressures but it might require you to change your camshaft timing by 10 degrees or so.
@@engineer_peter yes what the person is saying is right. Hydrogen burn 500 times faster than gasoline and then it implodes on itself. This will not synchronize properly with the piston on regular gasoline timing. You must ignite the hho right before the piston reaches its lowest point to get energy from the initial explosion. Then when the piston is returning to the top the implosion of the water sucks the piston up. Note that the timing will slightly change when the rpm increase so to maximize efficiency you must monitor that as well. I also heard that you can mix air and non combustible-gasses(return part of the exhaust to the inlet), if you can get the ratio just right it burns like gasoline. And even better if you mix non combustible ionize gasses into it as well the ionized gas atoms steal the electrons when the explosion occurs. Without the electrons the water can't be formed and as such an atom/s or molecule/s undergoes nuclear decay to produce the needed electrons. This nuclear decay also release an excess energy in the form of mc2 plus some other by products.

The conversion works but not as you built it in a simplistic way, 1 The carburetor is only for gasoline and not for gas. 2 you have to build an injection nozzle with an anti-explosion safety device on the injector, you can build it with glass granules and we have a larger granulation in a 10 mm tube, examples on UA-cam tutorials. 3 This injector with an "anti-explosion safety device" is mounted between the carburetor and the intake valve, or as close as possible to the "intake valve" (Ex. Decetronic gasoline injection engines, the injector with electrical control from the ECU) 4 This is the only way to eliminate the explosion in the entire intake manifold! For example, in your video, the engine has symptoms and explodes in the intake manifold and not in the combustion chamber, at one point the engine remains without power, respectively, it stops.

Pred rokmi som postavil elektronické zariadenie možno je to ešte na nete kde rozklad vody prebiehal kHz a menila sa polarita elektród. Stále ho mám ale slúžiť bude na niečo iné. Nebol to môj návrh. Len som to našiel na nete. Ta voda priam vrela. Je úplne jedno aký je tam hydroxid. Požíval som sódu bikarbónu. Zariadenie obsahuje 2 IC NE555 a 2 mosfet tranzistory. Potrebujete aj doplniť riadenie predstihu. Tu som postavil z Amatérskeho Rádia alebo je to Praktická elektronika. Dá sa to dohladiť. Kapacitne zapaľovanie pre 4 takt riadený Atmel procesorom. Problém je že motor materiálovo nie je stavaný na spaľovanie vodíka. Po čase prepáli piest ventily tiež dostanú zabrať ale nápad to bol skvelý. Ku koncu som aj tak musel pustiť benzín aspoň na 2 min aby a odstránil kondenz z valca a výfuku. Spaľovaním vzniká len voda ako aj u lpg. Tak zostal len benzín a lpg .
This is making HHO gas, not hydrogen. A spark plug cannot ignite HHO gas. It needs open flame If you were separating the hydrogen and oxygen and using just the hydrogen it could be ignited by a spark plug

You set it up to fail. The gas should go directly into the air intake. This will work even without a carburettor. You can do the same using natural gas, propane or even the fumes off petrol.
That fuel cell could be better and also you need electrolytes in the water and you will produce more hydrogen! Also the carb needs an upgrade! But it is possible to make it run if you fine adjust all theese things! Governments dont want everyone to know this yet tho!

By segregating the the electrodes and collecting the gas they produce in separate containers. Positive will produce oxygen and negative will produce hydrogen. There are probably hundreds, if not thousands, of videos explaining and demonstrating the process in great detail.
Dude all you're doing is starting it with gasoline make an HHO run and when you shut the fuel off it's only running until the fuel out of the bucket of the carburetor is gone and then it dies you're not running it off at hydrogen you're just running off the damn bucket of the fuel left in the carburetor
Unfortunately this design can't work. Firstly, every energy generation technique must adhere to the first law of thermodynamics which is the law of conservation of energy. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only changing forms. Just taking into consideration the loss of energy from the generator's engine due to heat lowers the average efficiency to about 30 percent. Meaning if you produce 100kJ of energy, you'll only convert ~33kJ to kinetic energy. That energy is then converted to electrical energy by the rotor and then sent out to whatever device you're powering. The average efficiency of that conversion is about ~85 percent given a multitude of circumstances. We then suffer even more loss of energy running that current through a battery charger to charge a battery. It's not feasible to believe this system can perform outside the current laws of physics which are inarguably tried and true. Additionally, if we consider the nature of electrolysis, it is an extremely costly process. The energy produced from burning the produced hydrogen would be less than the energy used to perform the electrolysis. This design is very similar to other concepts of perpetual motion generators, which are a staple of science fiction at best. Organizations such as American Physical Society (APS), American Chemical Society (ACS), and National Institute of Standards and Technology, though not directly applying efforts in the refute of this technology, have provided substantial scientific evidence disproving the efficacy of such systems. I would be one of the first people to propose that current energy production methods are outdated and certainly not sustainable. However, providing misinformation is only going to hurt advancement and progress in that particular endeavor.
Why do they always show these super cheap setups that do not work when Amazon has Industrial Fuel Cell generators for about 200 dollars that put out 10 times the hydrogen using very little electricity lol
Ok so you are using an external power source, that was unclear in your short. I'd recommend a battery charger over a battery and you will loose power and it will die before it runs out of hydrogen, you will be unable to charge the battery more than you drain it. The law of conservation of energy is a bitch, but you can make a gas motor run on H²O². It just won't run on fuel it makes itself, if you could make a reservoir to store the hydrogen you could store it to use later while running it on gas. Or if you could source stored hydrogen run it off that, id recommend trying wood gas if you do another generator though instead of doing just one experiment do two and get a second video out of it. Since im here might as well do a "Super thank you"
Uh.. you show it doesn't work.. if you produce enough hydrogen to make it run.. it has to go in the airstream not the gasoline system.. and then you would have to have a way to meter it for throttle control..
Fake... making a hydrogen generator is more complicated than it looks.. you have enough fuel in the carburator to run the generator for 3-5 minutes without supplying with fuel from outside..
It will never work. Just calculate the amount of gas required only to be energetic equal to fuel. At atmospheric pressure it is about 10000 times the volume of fuel (petrol). Even if you would have enough (brown’s) gas supply it would only work for a few minutes due to wrong ignition timings and heating up of the motor parts (self ignition). The piston oil film will also start to burn due to higher temperatures. Hydrogen in combustion engines is a dead end

My intention was simply to highlight that the concept is more complex than what is presented on the Liberty Engine channel in their video. I derived the concept from their content and conducted a thorough evaluation, which unequivocally revealed that this approach is not viable.

It is actually only about 8 times less energy per volume vs. gasoline. Regardless, the generator cannot run itself without energy input beyond the hydrogen fuel created. This is a fantastic effort combining the generator and the hydrolysis apparatus.

Alternatively, you could add a fuel cell that converts hydrogen along with oxygen into electrical energy, similar to the Toyota Mirai, where hydrogen combines with oxygen in a fuel cell, creating an electric charge in this chemical reaction, which is captured and converted into the rotational motion of an electric motor that could drive a generator. In any case, I wanted to verify if it's as simple as presented by the Liberty Engine channel to convert a gasoline generator into a hydrogen-powered one.

@engineer_peter I guess what I'm trying to say is. In my understanding HHO doesn't combust like gasoline or natural gas, it's different, I heard it explained that its more of an implosion and when it combusts with moisture present in the chamber it turns the moisture to steam and increases your combustion chamber pressures but it might require you to change your camshaft timing by 10 degrees or so.
@@engineer_peter yes what the person is saying is right. Hydrogen burn 500 times faster than gasoline and then it implodes on itself. This will not synchronize properly with the piston on regular gasoline timing. You must ignite the hho right before the piston reaches its lowest point to get energy from the initial explosion. Then when the piston is returning to the top the implosion of the water sucks the piston up. Note that the timing will slightly change when the rpm increase so to maximize efficiency you must monitor that as well. I also heard that you can mix air and non combustible-gasses(return part of the exhaust to the inlet), if you can get the ratio just right it burns like gasoline. And even better if you mix non combustible ionize gasses into it as well the ionized gas atoms steal the electrons when the explosion occurs. Without the electrons the water can't be formed and as such an atom/s or molecule/s undergoes nuclear decay to produce the needed electrons. This nuclear decay also release an excess energy in the form of mc2 plus some other by products.

The conversion works but not as you built it in a simplistic way,
1 The carburetor is only for gasoline and not for gas.
2 you have to build an injection nozzle with an anti-explosion safety device on the injector, you can build it with glass granules and we have a larger granulation in a 10 mm tube, examples on UA-cam tutorials.
3 This injector with an "anti-explosion safety device" is mounted between the carburetor and the intake valve, or as close as possible to the "intake valve" (Ex. Decetronic gasoline injection engines, the injector with electrical control from the ECU)
4 This is the only way to eliminate the explosion in the entire intake manifold! For example, in your video, the engine has symptoms and explodes in the intake manifold and not in the combustion chamber, at one point the engine remains without power, respectively, it stops.

Takto vám to nebude generovať dosť vodka. Je to len bežná základná elektrolýza. Pred rokmi som postavil elektronické zariadenie možno je to ešte na nete kde rozklad vody prebiehal kHz a menila sa polarita elektród. Stále ho mám ale slúžiť bude na niečo iné. Nebol to môj návrh. Len som to našiel na nete. Ta voda priam vrela. Je úplne jedno aký je tam hydroxid. Požíval som sódu bikarbónu. Zariadenie obsahuje 2 IC NE555 a 2 mosfet tranzistory. Potrebujete aj doplniť riadenie predstihu. Tu som postavil z Amatérskeho Rádia alebo je to Praktická elektronika. Dá sa to dohladiť. Kapacitne zapaľovanie pre 4 takt riadený Atmel procesorom. Problém je že motor materiálovo nie je stavaný na spaľovanie vodíka. Po čase prepáli piest ventily tiež dostanú zabrať ale nápad to bol skvelý. Ku koncu som aj tak musel pustiť benzín aspoň na 2 min aby a odstránil kondenz z valca a výfuku. Spaľovaním vzniká len voda ako aj u lpg. Tak zostal len benzín a lpg .

This is making HHO gas, not hydrogen. A spark plug cannot ignite HHO gas. It needs open flame
If you were separating the hydrogen and oxygen and using just the hydrogen it could be ignited by a spark plug

You set it up to fail. The gas should go directly into the air intake. This will work even without a carburettor. You can do the same using natural gas, propane or even the fumes off petrol.

How can hydrogen be separated from oxygen??
By segregating the the electrodes and collecting the gas they produce in separate containers. Positive will produce oxygen and negative will produce hydrogen.
There are probably hundreds, if not thousands, of videos explaining and demonstrating the process in great detail.
Just to start do it with the battery and then change it to de generator outlet for more power to generate more hydrogen
Dude all you're doing is starting it with gasoline make an HHO run and when you shut the fuel off it's only running until the fuel out of the bucket of the carburetor is gone and then it dies you're not running it off at hydrogen you're just running off the damn bucket of the fuel left in the carburetor

Unfortunately this design can't work. Firstly, every energy generation technique must adhere to the first law of thermodynamics which is the law of conservation of energy. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only changing forms. Just taking into consideration the loss of energy from the generator's engine due to heat lowers the average efficiency to about 30 percent. Meaning if you produce 100kJ of energy, you'll only convert ~33kJ to kinetic energy. That energy is then converted to electrical energy by the rotor and then sent out to whatever device you're powering. The average efficiency of that conversion is about ~85 percent given a multitude of circumstances. We then suffer even more loss of energy running that current through a battery charger to charge a battery. It's not feasible to believe this system can perform outside the current laws of physics which are inarguably tried and true. Additionally, if we consider the nature of electrolysis, it is an extremely costly process. The energy produced from burning the produced hydrogen would be less than the energy used to perform the electrolysis. This design is very similar to other concepts of perpetual motion generators, which are a staple of science fiction at best. Organizations such as American Physical Society (APS), American Chemical Society (ACS), and National Institute of Standards and Technology, though not directly applying efforts in the refute of this technology, have provided substantial scientific evidence disproving the efficacy of such systems. I would be one of the first people to propose that current energy production methods are outdated and certainly not sustainable. However, providing misinformation is only going to hurt advancement and progress in that particular endeavor.
Why do they always show these super cheap setups that do not work when Amazon has Industrial Fuel Cell generators for about 200 dollars that put out 10 times the hydrogen using very little electricity lol

Ok so you are using an external power source, that was unclear in your short. I'd recommend a battery charger over a battery and you will loose power and it will die before it runs out of hydrogen, you will be unable to charge the battery more than you drain it. The law of conservation of energy is a bitch, but you can make a gas motor run on H²O². It just won't run on fuel it makes itself, if you could make a reservoir to store the hydrogen you could store it to use later while running it on gas. Or if you could source stored hydrogen run it off that, id recommend trying wood gas if you do another generator though instead of doing just one experiment do two and get a second video out of it.

Uh.. you show it doesn't work.. if you produce enough hydrogen to make it run.. it has to go in the airstream not the gasoline system.. and then you would have to have a way to meter it for throttle control..

Fake... making a hydrogen generator is more complicated than it looks.. you have enough fuel in the carburator to run the generator for 3-5 minutes without supplying with fuel from outside..
It will never work. Just calculate the amount of gas required only to be energetic equal to fuel. At atmospheric pressure it is about 10000 times the volume of fuel (petrol). Even if you would have enough (brown’s) gas supply it would only work for a few minutes due to wrong ignition timings and heating up of the motor parts (self ignition). The piston oil film will also start to burn due to higher temperatures.

My intention was simply to highlight that the concept is more complex than what is presented on the Liberty Engine channel in their video. I derived the concept from their content and conducted a thorough evaluation, which unequivocally revealed that this approach is not viable.

It is actually only about 8 times less energy per volume vs. gasoline. Regardless, the generator cannot run itself without energy input beyond the hydrogen fuel created. This is a fantastic effort combining the generator and the hydrolysis apparatus.

His engine stopped because the surface area of the metal used for electrolysis is too small.
With a coil and some magnets on the side of the motor, you only need the battery for 1 minute when starting, the rest, once the motor is started, it provides its own current for electrolysis.
