    I think other than Eva Air and maybe Qatar no one else gives out pyjamas in business. So definitely a plus point for Air India.
    Also post-pandemic its rare to see Grey Goose being served in business class. Already feels like Air India is upping its game to be the best.

      Hey.. in long hauls generally Airlines give Pyjamas in Business too.. This is their longest flight route.. and yes ur absolutely right .. Air India is definitely ramping it up .. it’s gonna take some time though but they’re trying!

      @@luxuryindiantraveler Try United. They do these long haul flights. You do not get any pyjamas in business class on United. A lot of them don't bother.

      @@mansees ohh ok.. didn’t know this .. in that case yes they hand out pyjamas and kits.. to everyone.. and now it’s TUmi so quite good it is 😀

    When you mention FAR BEHIND THE MIDDLE EAST CARRIERS @0:51, It gives a feeling that many of the Vloggers are being paid by Emirates, Qatar and Etihad to show wrong things about Air India as they are feeling the pain of losing 1.4 billion customers, who were the sole bread and butter of these airlines and Indian Governments in the past unfortunately neglected Air India. Middle Eastern Carriers enticed Indian travellers by hiring East European Air Hostesses at peanut salaries and hiring Indian Chefs to dish out better food platters to travellers. Dubai Airport Terminal 1 and that ways even Terminal 3 are just decent.... Not Too Grand... Why would Indians wait even for 2 hours at DXB to take connecting flight to Americas, when we can easily board our own Air India and reach direct in under 15 hours? Middle East has no much population of its own and to keep its airlines running, it needs a lot of movement specially from the Sub Continent through its airports... Once Air India gets geared up with ULR (Ultra Long Range) planes that it has ordered, Indians will zoom past Middle East to reach Europe and further.... So, this is all the reason for such Vlogs now being so frequent.... I do not mean that Luxury Indian Traveler has been working for ME Airlines, but ,any are surely doing it for some pittance...

      Hello.. no doubt this is biggest advantage as we have also realized and mentioned but the service quality of both hard and soft product need a lot of improvement in Air India .. hopefully with new management things will improve but it is going to take a lot of time . From international travellers perspective.. AI has been in news for all wrong reasons .. Yes there are Vloggers who get paid for products and services but we just highlight our own personal experiences.. and hence u get to see both the good and the bad ..

    Is the seat separator include the two by the window? I’m a solo traveler and the two seats are really close to each other

    • @luxuryindiantraveler
      @luxuryindiantraveler  9 місяців тому +1

      Hi .. it’s barely a seat separator.. sime planes have that hard separator and some have just a fan ..but these planes are quite spacious .. try and take a an aisle of middle section .. that way no one will bother you if they want to go out and you too will have full access to aisle .. Windows are anyway most of time covered .. take a corner seat 💺 of middle row!

    BTW with whom you travel??

      It is no where even close to Emirates .. The only benefit is this is non-stop 16 hr flight ✈️.. otherwise from checkin to arrival .. it was a headache .. except for the crew .. they were prompt! Traveled with friends …

    I flew Business class 2 days ago in AI173. My TV doesn't work, reclining seat is not comfortable (very old), Head set pin connection is loose (doesn't work), cold/stale food was served, Flight attendants were never available . Only thing I appreciate is luggage tracking notifications on my mobile/email.

    So basically no privacy even in business class, no wifi for 16 hours? And we need to believe things are changing? Its always 'things are coming....'

    • @luxuryindiantraveler
      @luxuryindiantraveler  5 місяців тому

      Hello .. ya so in these planes there isn’t any privacy like we have in other airlines but they are leasing out new planes offlate in which seating structure is different. But again it would take a while to change all planes on all routes. Recently took a flight from S.Korea .. hoping it would be a new plane ✈️ but nope!

    Good video. I think you captured the Air India experience very well. Wish you had eaten more of the Indian menu items. Check-in at other airports, especially for business class, is easier, but I've had good luck checking in at DEL.

      Hey Thanks so much .. Check in at Delhi airport for most airlines is a nightmare ..even in Business class .. unorganised checkin counters and lounges .. anyone stands in any queue.. have captured few more shots of food .. available on insta .. please follow it for more content …but the lounge food was not tasty n not worth eating :(

    Gross Air India..... challenging Emirates and Singapore airlines is laughably delusional

    • @luxuryindiantraveler
      @luxuryindiantraveler  Рік тому +3

      Right..They indeed have a lot to work upon and improve .. it’s more like starting from the scratch .. ohh this was nothing like middle eastern carriers or Singapore A .. only benefit.. this is a non-stop flight .. saves time.. that’s it!

    • @aviatorsammy9389
      @aviatorsammy9389 Рік тому +1

      @skyeye787 well I wouldn't say challenging as the Tata group have privatized Air India already and Singapore airlines has bought 25% stake in Air India. So both the joint ventures are working in hand to hand to enhance the overall experience while flying with AI. Slowly but steadily they are improving their services, changes can already be seen in the inflight services such as food and beverages, cabin crew interactions etc. No doubt in the coming years Air India will be at the same level as Singapore airlines and Qatar and I would be really excited to fly them.

    • @aviatorsammy9389
      @aviatorsammy9389 Рік тому

      One great example is already there which is managed by Tata and Singapore airlines group and that is Vistara. Also since Vistara is merging with AI the management will be stepping up the game.

    • @aviatorsammy9389
      @aviatorsammy9389 Рік тому

      But yeah there are still some certain elements which AI has to cope up with and that is the check in experience , IFE,
      refurbishment and lounges
