New subscriber here. I appreciate UA-camrs like yourself who don’t talk while filming during the flight. It Is really discourteous to other passengers when the passenger next to you talks nonstop to make his /her UA-cam video.

Looks like SFO-DEL is still using the old airplanes. They will not fix it because they will get new airplanes next year.
I think SFO-BOM and SFO-BLR are using the leased planes from Delta with working IFE and newer interiors.
Hii.. true .. they are still using old planes in some sectors .. Mumbai Sector upgraded hard product is launched but Delhi is still running on old .. but pillows without pillow covers and certain hygiene checks can be done .. the seats were filthy!
@@luxuryindiantraveler Some good news for delhi recently. Air India leased a 777 from Etihad which has Etihad cabin and will be used for Delhi London flights.

I had the worst experience with the returning flight from delhi to san francisco. Air india is slowly changing with new aircrafts. Btw my flight was AI173
Hello … with Air India you really can’t trust the service as it’s not consistent at all .. this time they gave the same stuff in Business and First .. though I was flying first I had to Beg from lounge to lounge but did not get entry .. I mean what else can I say .. Friend :( so can well empathise how you must have felt!

Good and concise review. This winter, I have the option of flying Air India “non stop” or go with a longer flight time with another airline and opted for the latter. The flying experience is so important and at the moment Air India is a let down in this department!
Thanks so much 🙏🏻☺️ .. Yea for now AI is undergoing changes and it’s not certain if it will be an old or new aircraft in winter .. Also, the service aspect .. :( ..We opted this one solely for non-stop part.. There were better choices available too .. would recommend you take the trusted one!
The seat and upkeep looked bad. The amount of food was great, but why pile it up in such an unappetising way?
This was no better than 5/10. As you said - lots of opportunities for improvement.

True that .. most food wasn’t tasty also .. and there was no choice of juices .. pillows without covers and headrests were oily. Filthy it was .. like basic hygiene these things are .. that’s y Indian Airlines are not preferred!
Im still waitin for Air India to brin gin the A350s for this route.
Now India To London Flights Are More Advanced Business And First Class Un Believe able I Have Traveled In Most European And American Airlines Including Emirates 380.Air India Was Extraordinary.Hope Soon All Flights Will Be Same Standard.

It's Flying Garbage plane...in thst plabe there is no diff between economy, business or first class...after 30 mts all crew will go back side amd sleeo they were nowhere to be seen...they wake up only at food an dbeverage serving😂😂
Hello .. well the only good thing about is Air India is their crew .. you have to see how other Airlines crew behave even with business class .. Air India crew is courteous and warm …I must say ( have flown multiple times in different geographies) but crew has never disappointed me. When you experienced this ..They may have gone back because they have to make food ready to serve so everyone is busy in the galley .. in such a situation all we have to do is call them by pressing the button.
I will be soon taking YVR-DEL, I will load up on Movies, 14 hours without IFE or even a dated one is going to be challenging but thankfully M1 Macs are power efficient :)

This video put me off. I think I will wait for the re-branding and new interiors installed. Then, I believe Air India will have a great hard product. Wish them success in the future.

6:40 For the record, you were showing the town and graveyards of Colma, San Mateo County, not "San Francisco" (which appears later). Many of the graves were moved to Colma from San Francisco in the 1800's. Apparently, politicians realized that land was far too precious in San Francisco for graves, and outlawed graveyards. The dead far out number the living the living in Colma!
In just a year it will be a completely different and world class experience with the refurbishment of the 777s and the introduction of A350s

Hey.. must say that the food was not tasty at all on this flight .. except for a few items .. and being a non - alcoholic was a crime on this flight .. coz they did not even have choice of juices most flights have .. even Del Sfo had better options!

Voice overs are fine, but as a passenger on the same flight, I find UA-camrs who talk while filming on flights disrupts my experience.

Thank you for posting this video. I have never flown AI business class. I was contemplating if I should fly AI this time. After seeing this video, I have decided to stick with Delta and its partner airlines. I love Delta's Suite One. AI had a very bad reputation for the maintenance and upkeep of their planes. It seems nothing much has changed after Tata's takeover :(
Glad .. this was of use .. even we were contemplating but then just took this to experience.. and as you can see ..😄 it was what it was!
Their DEL..YVR, old planes, staff excellent.
Hii.. Yup most of the staff tries to make up for all the deficiencies.. true.. old planes are still ok but basic hygiene should be in place .. like pillows with clean covers and filthy seats 💺 should be cleaned and sanitized properly before the takeoff!

@@luxuryindiantraveler it even says it in google flight description that’s it’s an angled flat bed.. it’s not a full flat bed, fly their 787 or bom to nyc flight for their actual full flat bed
