    Hello Mat.
    Great videos thanks for them.
How did you get the Touchscreen panels working with 3 monitors besides?
I have two 38" monitors and for the life of me can't get one touchscreen to work let alone two.
Any chance of doing an in depth tutorial on how you got it working?
I bet lots of people would find this helpful. Thanks
I have seen 1 or 2 tutorials about this but they don't go into detail about setting up hardware etc.
    Just a thought.
    Thanks

      Hi Sorchin,
I'm glad the videos are helpful. My GPU has 5 output ports, but be aware only 4 of them can be used simultaneously at any one time. So to have all 5 monitors work, I needed to use a Startech USB to HDMI Converter (external video card).

I wish I could do a video but free time has dropped to zero recently. Not sure when I'll have time to get the sim fired up in the near future. Good luck with your build!

@@mcorrive12 Thank You. BTW What are the Touchscreen monitors? (the brand and size)

I noticed a big increase in performance after I bought a gaming panel, 144hz 1440p using display port high speed, turning on gsync in the options, I only have one screen setup but I'm guessing all 3 would need to be the same or the slowest screen would bring the performance down. I'm running a 2070 and get upto 50fps in sim using 7inch pop out touch screen.

When I compare my single monitor, triple Monitor, and 5 Monitor FPS to other simmers I see on UA-cam, I see that I'm getting equivalent performance to other people in each of those modes. I get great framerates in single monitor mode. My big frame hitters are triple Monitor mode and air manager. I'm hoping Asobo can further optimize the triple panel mode.

@@mcorrive12 Hi yes that would be great, but I think it's more about hardware and the limits, there's a lot of factors in play to cause loss of frames, I'll be interested to see how you develop your setup. I have been making a tactile cockpit, dials buttons and displays, so kind of shifting the extra pressure on my system to external hardware running independently from my cpu/gpu.

@@Rosenrot213 yeah, I considered that as well. The initial requirements for my simulator were:
1- Glass panel displays. My entire pilot career I've flown glass panel aircraft, and I'd prefer to practice how I fly IRL.
2- Easy to put away, low storage space. My sim setup folds away in 2 minutes and becomes my home office full time during the week. I don't have the space for a full home cockpit.
All that said, I think my performance now is "good enough" for point to point flying. The NYC aerobatics are just a stress test. If my b550 Mobo supported next generation processors I'd go that route. But unfortunately If I want to upgrade my CPU to anything significantly faster than a 5900x for 4K, it's going to require a new mobo, CPU, CPU cooler, and PCIE Gen 5 RAM. That's hardware budget I don't have right now... And budget I'd rather spend real world flying 🙂👍
As it is, my simulator is a massive example of scope creep. My initial simular requirements started in 2020 when I first asked myself the question if I thought I could run xplane 11 on my laptop on low settings. That research topic turned into my finding out that MSFS 2020 was coming out soon. That turned into building a PC to support that. That turned into triple monitor simming. That turned into five monitor simming. Thousands of dollars later... Oops 🤣

@@mcorrive12 Check my home cockpit with the Vision Jet video on my channel, its where I am now, similar to your journey, I run 2 screen pc with 7inch touch, although 2nd screen is for radio, navigraph etc my setup is pretty compact

@@Rosenrot213 Nice, looks good! It's been a 2+ year journey for me. Fun at times, frustrating at times, expensive the whole time, but rewarding. And practicing in the sim makes me a safer pilot in the real world. I consider it to be a training expense to stay safe IRL.
