- Forza Motorsport review on a wheel, Xbox series x gameplay and wheel is the Fanatec CSL DD GT PRO. I hope this answers a couple questions for people on the wheel, let me know in the reactions if you have any questions I am more then happy to answer. Dont forget to like and subscribe.

Loving the game on my wheel so far. Sooooo much better than Forza motorsport 7 and Forza horizon 5 for a wheel. Dirt Rally 2.0 was my favorite with a wheel previously, but this new Forza is just as good if not even better in some ways. Having a blast so far, probably most fun I have had in a Motorsport game since 4!

Tried your settings but changed a few things and I really like it now:
The vibration scale was imo causing details a lot of details to het blended together like the curbstones.. turned that to zero.
Also turned the road feel scale down to 150 from 200. Now it doesn't feel like i'm driving over a washboard anymore. I was at Le Mans last summer and the straights and curbs now feel like they do irl imo.
With these settings changed you can have less dead zones aswell because the wheel is not so shaky anymore, but I think that's a personal preference.

I already adjusted the settings in the meanwhile ( also tried others for a couple of days ), but indeed, the vibration and road feel were a bit too much now it feels a lot better.

Are you receiving telemetry on your wheel display. I’ve got fanatec dd pro but not receiving any data on oled display
No same here sadly, console is poor supported with those things.

Its absolutely amazing 😻 once u get you settings in the right place the stock out in of the box settings are really bad with all those input settings dialed in though it easily the best racing physics ever you feel things through that wheel in fm the hat you do not in other racing games it feels very alive you feel under and oversteer in ways no other sim can deliver this game is really good its easier to push a car to the very edge of its abilities because you xan actually feel it when you exceed that cars abilities its next level good at this

Thank you so much for the settings!! Now it's way better on my CSL DD and X-box X. The only question I have - how to synchronize the movement of the steering wheel in the game cockpit and in hands? I know the game animation is limited to 360 degrees, but it's more than enough for racing if it is in sync. In my case, the in-game wheel rotates at least 2x times faster. I tried different settings - nothing seems to help..
Hi Alex, you're welcome, and good to hear it's much better now. That's something I can not fix at the moment. Maybe use cockpit without steering wheel till they fix it?
@@RacingFromHome Yeah, I have to use the dashboard view but I always wanted to go back to the driver view as it gives a more realistic presence in the cabin and the field of view is more like what you see in the real car. It's strange that it's behaving this way since I've seen a few videos on UA-cam when people drive on the same CSL DD and their steering wheels are in sync...
Ow really? Are they playing on PC or Xbox? I think on console it's worse.

Hey, I found the solution! Set the steering SEN parameter to 252 and in game Steering Sensitivity to 100 - you will have the same 900 ish degree rotation from lock to lock, and the cabin animation will be in sync :)

They’d better add the Bugatti bolide and Aston Martin Valkyrie into this game. Really don’t know how those didn’t get in to the game at launch
Probably to new and not easy to get the cars scanned because of that. We cannot get everything day one, its a marathon not a sprint mate.

I'm so disappointed about the degrees in the animation. It's 2023 and still no 900 dedree wheel... However you're video was great ;)
Yeah they improved but not fully sadly, maybe they will update it.

Our settings are very very similar im using a Moza rig its not yo dissimilar from your fanatec rig

ffb vanishing after 90 degree? any fix?
It's just the loss of grip that is translated through the ffb, maybe with tuning the settings it might help. I will take the coming weeks to fine tune further and update on it.

Hey dude you took mine as a basis? Tried the wheel rotation advice?
Something is majorly wrong with my setup, ive got an r12 and its like everything is set to 100% ffb power. As soon as the game loading screen opens on the desktop the wheelbase locks to the straight forwards position and i can barely move it, once the game gives me control of a car its just full force feeback and i cant even hold onto the wheel and it snaps out of my hands, its honestly very dangerous. If i turn ffb to essentially zero the controls are still very sensitive and there is a delay, anyone had to same experience?
That's shitty to hear, is the R12 fully supported so far? Did you tried the forza.net forums to see if there is a solution? Hope you can fix it mate.
@@RacingFromHome other people are having similar issues with moza, i reinstalled the moza software and it fixed it but if you load any profiles for other games it plays up again

For me handling and or tire modell is unpredictable and inconsistent. I drive with Fanatec GT DD pro. I couldn’t find yet good precise and accurate settings 😢

Am I the only one who feels like there is no detail in the ffb, and all of the cars are super understeery? Even with the right settings the game just feels terrible to me
If it's terrible then something is really off, what wheelbase are you playing on? The game is understeery like GT but with car setups you can tune that out in builders cup at least.

no clue why u bring up Forza Horizon always.. its a Arcade Game.... developed by a different team so they only share the name
Only as a comparison as they do share alot of tech with each other..
