They both have good and bad takes. Pro for GT7: Ability to change fuel mixture, TCS, brake bias, etc in race is a huge plus. Pro for FM: There's actual telemetry to use to tune more effectively. Pro for GT7: Creating liveries is much easier. Pro for FM: Car cost is very manageable, especially considering parts are now changed with CP, so all cash rewards can be devoted to buying cars. Pro for GT7: License tests. *chefs kiss* Pro for FM: The AI, after the initial chaos is very good. Pro for GT7: Full list of GT3/4 cars. While outdated, at least a big list of manufacturers exist. Cons for GT7 and FM: The Grind. For GT7, it's to get cash. For FM, it's leveling cars. Cons continued: Both games fail at what is considered a Career Mode.
There is one major pro to GT7 FM probably won't get., it and its VR with PSVR2. I have played racing sims for years, AC,ACC project cars, dirt rally, iRacing and IMO GT7 in VR with a decent wheel and cockpit is one of the best driving sim experiences ive ever had. But I try the nee Forza and get my own experience.
Only the front 6 cars in FM are actual opponents. Expect contact on launch and expect about three of those six to have an unnatural boost in performance temporarily. Yes I am suggesting the games AI temporarily boost some of the cars

I never thought I'll see the the day where Forza will be more sim like compared to GT7. They just nailed it this time. I already have 15 hours in it. It reminds me of GT5 where you could fell the car's weight. After several hours of Forza I've booted up GT7 and it felt weird. I think I found my new favorite.
Thats not what i heard from reviews, its not more of sim than gt7 more on simular level, and remember chris said it would be as good as any of best sims on the market, witch turns out to be false, like many of he empty promises

This game is trash. I don't think you have a honest review of this game. I have on steam and it crashes. The lighting is horrible. The physics feel like Mario kart. I wish I would have saved my money.

I’m ranked 2nd in the world on multiple tracks and multiple classes with a controller. It feels great. Cant quite work out what that Schumacher bloke in 1st has done with his 911 gt1 setup but it’s quick.
can y'all stop comparing two different games for two different audiences? you can go on about graphics but every other aspect between these two differ for a reason, forza is not a simulation racer and has never been advertised as such, rather, it's simcade which makes the game more approachable to people who want a more accessible racing game
Honestly you're giving Forza too much credit. There's a big grind for each car, all good simracers are complaining the AI is way too easy and unpredictable (they brake on straight lines)... this is coming from someone who plays at level 5 because I'm slightly amateur. And yes, I'm playing it. And yes, I'd recommend it for people new to Motorsport and racing (hell, even simracing), but you're selling it as if it was the second coming of christ...
The grind for each car isn’t for everyone for sure - I’m wondering if they’ll do anything in future updates to make it least grindy. AI is AI, but this is some of the better I’ve seen outside of dedicated sim games!
Wait wait so because Turn10 decided to take 6 year dev cycle now they not the highest quality racer out there. A title they have held since FM Og and with FH added one top you are high Forza been number 1 for 2 decades don't get Pony hype machine confused with real player numbers FH5 had 33 million players no one can sniff the Forza brand
I didn't like GT7 after a week in single player campaign so i am playing and enjoying Grid Legends more. I thought Car Cafe was nice experience but didn't like we are place at the end of the grid and have to get to first place. All AI are spaced out and don't even fight it out. It is a driving simulator not racing so it is what it is. I played Forza 7 only and I enjoyed it more. AI more closely grouped together so I hope new game is more so. Good luck Turn 10 in improving it more. Please no more cars, add new modes.
GT7 is best Forza has a nicer looking environment but lacks content and has very poor lighting and car models. For the traitors that hate on GT7… 34 tracks at launch vs 20 tracks and no nurb 2023 next gen no nurb at launch😌
Totally totally totally disagree that GT is worlds behind this on a controller… The controller feel and the haptics of the PlayStation controller as you CLUNK into a different gear or bump over a curb are absolutely transformative and feel much better than this does. I love FM, I’ve been addicted to it since it dropped and agree with a lot of your points but that one is completely wrong imho
I disagree with forza feeling better to play on game pad than gt7 - gt7 feels great due to the dual sense integration, you really feel how your car behaves due to this. Not that forza feels bad it’s just it can’t compete with a superior game pad. Also I would recommend anyone to play on performance rather than performance RT - the resolution improvement is quite stark and it makes the game easier to play, it also seems to improve textures particularly on cars in front of you which seem to be a lower LOD level on performance RT
GT7 definitely has advantages with the PS-specific integrations for sure! The resolution changes on Performance RT can be a bit funky on certain tracks & in certain conditions; if you’re all about outright speed then Performance is the way to go!
@dadsteps: The creators of GT7 tells you physics and how the car performs and handles on the track is their #1 priority, and to be as much of a real "Car Sim as it can. Nothing has changed, people try to compare two different types of games with different goals.
I disagree with your take on the controller. On dualsense the resistence on the gas/brake pretty much goes dead when you lose grip, but doesn't exactly do a great job telling you when you're ABOUT to lose grip. This is what FM does excellently. Look, the dualsense is a FAR superior controller overall for all it's amazing haptics (i still think xbox has a more ergonomic design), but how it's implemented in gt7, while prior to FM i thought was amazing, I've now changed my mind after trying FM. Now back to my fanatec DD1 :).

@@dadsteps Keep in mind that I play forza on PC fwiw. For me, after spending a bunch of time tweaking advanced inputs i can say that i prefer the wheel on FM, primarily because you can tune feedback per car, AND, i can get ffb much stronger than on gt7. I just wish apexes were more pronounced. Also road feel in the wheel feels better to me on FM. especially in the wet. not sure what it is, but it's more predictable to correct . And one last thing is, my H pattern shifter won't work with gt7. it's super annoying. Works perfectly on PC with FM. HOWEVER, both games are terrible compared to the kings of sims on PC (iracing, assetto corsa competizione, assetto corsa, rfactor).

Difficulty is fantastic - plenty of options to tailor it to you, and the AI are a challenge at higher difficulties! Progression is pretty linear, and the Practice sessions can get repetitive, but you can skip them. It doesn’t surpass GT3 (my favourite Career mode system) in my opinion, but it’s pretty good!
I watched through the whole video and didn't see any real comparisons to Gran Turismo 7. Did I miss them? Maybe I expected the wrong stuff, but with the way the title was worded and the description was worded, I thought you were going to compare the two games.
I am a forza guy. The only GT games I played were 3 and 4. For some reason I prefer the hood camera. I think it gives me a better idea of what the front is doing while turning.
Only driveable view for me is in cockpit. Any other view is arcade. Forza Motorsport vehicles do contain same polygon count as GT7 however to achieve native 4K @ 60fps, Forza halves them when driving, in race or replays. In photo mode this changes to 1,000,000 and they look fantastic.@@topsplitgg
Big agree on GRAN TURSIMO becoming incredibly sterile, from what I've seen gt7 has non of the style of the ps2 gt games that I grew up with. And it seems they have forgotten how to make a good single player campaign, but I don't get why forza didn't bring back the manufacturer levels where you get a discount on parts or car from that manufacturer
Worth mentioning that Forza Motorsport is a day 1 release on Gamepass, which is the only reason I've not purchased a copy as I have 3 years game pass ultimate stacked up - I might buy it in 3 years time.

I have both games, and I don't like either one of them, or at least, I didn't like GT7 when it released. Back then races paid like sh** and you couldn't sell cars which I found to be utterly stupid. I just didn't care for the game in general especially when compared to past entries like the goat GT4. GT7 may be better now, I wouldn't know, because I haven't bothered with it since last year. And the new Forza, I like it even less. I've played hundreds upon hundreds of hours of Forza spanning over 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and FH5, and I was hoping we'd get something to rival FM4, and instead we got something that doesn't even rival FM7. It's buggy af, the baked in anti-aliasing sucks and makes the game look blurry, framerates randomly dip for no reason (though the new patch has improved that somewhat), and the track list is too small, among a host of other things. For perspective, FM8 currently has a 39% positive rating on Steam, which for those keeping track is only slightly ahead of the 31% positive rating *Redfall* has. Yes, the new Forza is barely rated better on Steam than Redfall. It also has an average rating of 2 stars out of 5 on the XBox app. It has earned every bit of that scorn. I played it for about 20 hours total and haven't touched it in several days. The game feels like it's in beta. Maybe in in 6 months after they fix everything it'll be worth playing. F GT7 and the new FM. I regret buying either one of them. That's my opinion.
It has no way to put it: Gran Turismo is just better. Forza is a shit show, slow, awfull loking, boriing racing game. Even if played in PS4 PRO, GT 7 is just better.
I've playing since Oct 5th and the more I play the more I love it. It brings FM4 memories but only much better. IMO AI is bit weird and stupid, hopefully T10 can fix it with update. Content of the game is great also, both in single and multiplayer. Livery editor is better in GT7 imo.

Who ever came up with the practice session need to be smacked at turn 10. I get the idea, but why pace the AI so that they are slowed down to be at every corner disrupting your racing line. Second issue is still why are the AI able to out accelerate you from the start, and be useless everywhere else a lap into your race. Wish they can fix the AI situation
I have a PS5 and a Series X so for me it matters. Don’t have time for both lol. Though i did get gt7 and keep putting time in. If gamepass convinces me to buy Forza, I may switch. Graphics on cars look worse but environments look great!
Yes but gt your car is always middle of the screen forza your car willturn a bit so you can tell it’s turning there are 0 bumps on the road….. best way I’ve heard so far is forza your car moves around the truck gt the track moves around your car.
Forza Motorsport 2023 is Better since i have it on pc but i had to uninstall because these were like went invisible and waits for me of optimize so long
I’m pretty sure the people that like FM more are people that play dominantly on XBox and the people that like GT more are people that play dominantly PS. I hope this game is good enough to make Polyphony Digital feel like they finally have a competitor and step up their game, but I’m pretty sure they won’t because I for one am not buying an xbox just for Forza and I don’t really see this being a competitor
Not entirely accurate as I own both consoles. My predominant platform is PC. As for Forza being a competitor, oh you better believe it. Forza is open to a much bigger audience than GT7 as it's available on Xbox, PC, mobile devices and some models of Samsung tv. GT7 is only available to people with a PS4 or PS5. So you can pretty much guarantee that Polyphony Digital see it as a rival.
You don't buy an Xbox JUST for Forza, you buy one for Forza, Halo, Doom, Wolfenstein, Fallout , Elder Scolls, Prey, Dishonored, Fable, Outer Worlds, State Of Decay, Ages of Empires, Flight Simulator, Stalker, COD, Spyro, Crash, Perfect Dark, Starfield, Avowed, Hellblade etc, Game Pass and the other miriad of games and features missing on the Playstation platform this gen. Just like you don't just buy a Playstation for Ghost of Tsushima. I am sure Playstation has some other great exclusives too (just can't think of them off hand).

I own both consoles so I've played most of the games you named on the Xbox side. Starfield has taken up a lot of my time over the last month.
@@acurisur I was aware of all of the games you mentioned, however I don't consider any of them to be "must plays" except for Silent Hill 2 Remake which I will definitely be getting day one and hope it is as good as the recent Resident Evil remakes. To be honest I don't think much of Sony first party games these days and pretty much avoid them - Ghost of Tsushima was good though.

@@panamike6178 I tried Forza yesterday, and I downloaded dualsensex program, but still the game does not recognize a ps5 controller, the steering is awful, it jumps from full lock to full lock, no progression on L2 and R2, comnpared to GT7 it is trash, and GT7 was awesome on the controllers and not to mention VR, the want to hypoe up every xbox game on microsoft money, but sofar ps5 is wiping the floor with xbox, eversince Starfield is a mediocre game and Redfall is the worst fail ever, sony even if they are slow to release the games, the ones sofar are all good quality.

I am lucky to own both a gaming pc with an xbox game pass, and a ps5 with ps plus extra, and I buy most of the new games used on blue ray for half the price than on playstore. The only thing xbox has the edge on game pass, they provide AA titles like Lies of P, Atomic Heart, and their inhouse studio games day one launch for free, that ps plus cannot give for free, but xbox game pass cannot give third party titles day one for free like AC Mirage, Mk 1 etc.
Forza Motorsport totally fucked up all of the classic tracks. They ripped out the heart and soul of the tracks turning them into bubblegum pop versions of what used to be battle marches. Take a look Laguna Seca for the gods' sakes! Mario Andretti is turning over in his grave at what they did to his hairpin! It's not a hairpin damn it! It's a goddamn volumizing hot roller!
Gt7 is so boring, people keep saying you need practice but the gameplay itself can never be the same as actual driving already so there is no point to keep following it. Actually if you chance your driving instinct to follow gt7 it even affects your driving in real life, I experienced it. And in general it's less fun to keep playing like that.

I think this is a great way to come at it. If you are a racing fan, and have been playing your choice of game and feel no need to switch, then don't. Enjoy your chosen game and appreciate the rest.
I started on GT1, switched to FM2 on the 360, and have not looked back. Forza Motorsport surpasses GT7 in a lot of aspects. Mainly the fun factor. I've played GT7 as well. I almost fell asleep 15-20 minutes into the game. A snore fest for sure.

I like both. I play Forza on PC not on Xbox. Gt7 ist outstanding in every way. However, Forza is the graphically prettier game, as Forza intentionally prefers "beautiful and artistic" graphics over realistic graphics. Of course purists complain but hey, what the hell, it just looks a lot more aesthetically pleasing.
Own both and I always end up back on GT7. GT7 supporting the PSVR2 is the cherry on top! I also just love the simplicity of the menus in GT. It’s always been so good. The only thing Forza had on GT back in the day was the modding but GT has caught up since especially with the newest Forza.

As a player of both Forza couldnt be any further behind. Broken sounds Glitches FM5 models Bugged lighting engine Bad interiors Low res car details Crowd is basically 240px with no shadows Car part glitches Wide body doesnt show Leveling system is horrid Menus are puked out of FM3 Same low res wheels and glitches when rolling Lazy rain lacking puddles and correct reflection Its good on controller but that doesnt makw up for the rest that is an afterthought. Watching side by sides make this brutally apparent. Also, GT7 has the tactile adaptive triggers and better vibration, which i still prefer controller wise. Lets just say, ive barely gotten started on my complaints. I play it on Ultra on my PC and it looks worse than almost all racers from 2023, including the prior FH5.
Gt7 has ups and downs Good game on single player But the multiplayer is garbage 🗑️. Seriously In Dr A-B-C it is impossible to get a race without being punted off track And even if u finsh so high multiplayer reward system puts u in infinite loop. Fm7 has awful missions as single player But Humilates gt7 on multiplayer. Yes there are still dirty driving mouments but mostly they are punished so well whereas gt7 is like controlled by mafias. Overall Storywise and having fun as single player gt7 gets ahead easily But if u are an online guy . Just buy a pc and forza with asetto corsa.
Forza score = 2/10. Not optimized for PC at all. Visuals on PC is super sad, it can't even render at full monitor resolution. Nor can it run more than 60fps, during online race!? More content is of no value if the driving, game mechanic's and poor wheel force feedback is not fixed. The driver assistance is so overpowered, many console players set it to max and let the game drive itself for hours to gain xp... Release more content, the game will be dead in 6 months!
Nobody wants to spending hours just to unlocked car parts for every single car.. Whoever said that is fun is really stupid..worst graphic makes FM car has no details and look flat.. This is not a review, this is advertisement with misinformation...

I’m ranked 2nd in the world on multiple tracks and multiple classes with a controller. It feels great. Cant quite work out what that Schumacher bloke in 1st has done with his 911 gt1 setup but it’s quick.

can y'all stop comparing two different games for two different audiences? you can go on about graphics but every other aspect between these two differ for a reason, forza is not a simulation racer and has never been advertised as such, rather, it's simcade which makes the game more approachable to people who want a more accessible racing game
Honestly you're giving Forza too much credit. There's a big grind for each car, all good simracers are complaining the AI is way too easy and unpredictable (they brake on straight lines)... this is coming from someone who plays at level 5 because I'm slightly amateur. And yes, I'm playing it. And yes, I'd recommend it for people new to Motorsport and racing (hell, even simracing), but you're selling it as if it was the second coming of christ...
The grind for each car isn’t for everyone for sure - I’m wondering if they’ll do anything in future updates to make it least grindy.

I didn't like GT7 after a week in single player campaign so i am playing and enjoying Grid Legends more. I thought Car Cafe was nice experience but didn't like we are place at the end of the grid and have to get to first place. All AI are spaced out and don't even fight it out. It is a driving simulator not racing so it is what it is. I played Forza 7 only and I enjoyed it more. AI more closely grouped together so I hope new game is more so. Good luck Turn 10 in improving it more. Please no more cars, add new modes.

Totally totally totally disagree that GT is worlds behind this on a controller… The controller feel and the haptics of the PlayStation controller as you CLUNK into a different gear or bump over a curb are absolutely transformative and feel much better than this does.
I love FM, I’ve been addicted to it since it dropped and agree with a lot of your points but that one is completely wrong imho

I disagree with forza feeling better to play on game pad than gt7 - gt7 feels great due to the dual sense integration, you really feel how your car behaves due to this. Not that forza feels bad it’s just it can’t compete with a superior game pad.
Also I would recommend anyone to play on performance rather than performance RT - the resolution improvement is quite stark and it makes the game easier to play, it also seems to improve textures particularly on cars in front of you which seem to be a lower LOD level on performance RT
GT7 definitely has advantages with the PS-specific integrations for sure! The resolution changes on Performance RT can be a bit funky on certain tracks & in certain conditions; if you’re all about outright speed then Performance is the way to go!
@dadsteps: The creators of GT7 tells you physics and how the car performs and handles on the track is their #1 priority, and to be as much of a real "Car Sim as it can. Nothing has changed, people try to compare two different types of games with different goals.
I disagree with your take on the controller. On dualsense the resistence on the gas/brake pretty much goes dead when you lose grip, but doesn't exactly do a great job telling you when you're ABOUT to lose grip. This is what FM does excellently. Look, the dualsense is a FAR superior controller overall for all it's amazing haptics (i still think xbox has a more ergonomic design), but how it's implemented in gt7, while prior to FM i thought was amazing, I've now changed my mind after trying FM. Now back to my fanatec DD1 :).

@@dadsteps Keep in mind that I play forza on PC fwiw. For me, after spending a bunch of time tweaking advanced inputs i can say that i prefer the wheel on FM, primarily because you can tune feedback per car, AND, i can get ffb much stronger than on gt7. I just wish apexes were more pronounced. Also road feel in the wheel feels better to me on FM. especially in the wet. not sure what it is, but it's more predictable to correct . And one last thing is, my H pattern shifter won't work with gt7. it's super annoying. Works perfectly on PC with FM. HOWEVER, both games are terrible compared to the kings of sims on PC (iracing, assetto corsa competizione, assetto corsa, rfactor).

GT career mode is a joke,
Difficulty is fantastic - plenty of options to tailor it to you, and the AI are a challenge at higher difficulties!
Progression is pretty linear, and the Practice sessions can get repetitive, but you can skip them. It doesn’t surpass GT3 (my favourite Career mode system) in my opinion, but it’s pretty good!
GT7's career mode felt like I was supposed to be playing an RPG in a café at times.
I watched through the whole video and didn't see any real comparisons to Gran Turismo 7. Did I miss them? Maybe I expected the wrong stuff, but with the way the title was worded and the description was worded, I thought you were going to compare the two games.

The only GT games I played were 3 and 4.
For some reason I prefer the hood camera.
I think it gives me a better idea of what the front is doing while turning.
The hood camera does give you a great central camera angle!
Only driveable view for me is in cockpit. Any other view is arcade. Forza Motorsport vehicles do contain same polygon count as GT7 however to achieve native 4K @ 60fps, Forza halves them when driving, in race or replays. In photo mode this changes to 1,000,000 and they look fantastic.@@topsplitgg
For me both…but now Forza, but they have strognesses and weaknesses. GT is too sterile to me, Forza has more immersion.

Big agree on GRAN TURSIMO becoming incredibly sterile, from what I've seen gt7 has non of the style of the ps2 gt games that I grew up with. And it seems they have forgotten how to make a good single player campaign, but I don't get why forza didn't bring back the manufacturer levels where you get a discount on parts or car from that manufacturer

Worth mentioning that Forza Motorsport is a day 1 release on Gamepass, which is the only reason I've not purchased a copy as I have 3 years game pass ultimate stacked up - I might buy it in 3 years time.

I have both games, and I don't like either one of them, or at least, I didn't like GT7 when it released. Back then races paid like sh** and you couldn't sell cars which I found to be utterly stupid. I just didn't care for the game in general especially when compared to past entries like the goat GT4. GT7 may be better now, I wouldn't know, because I haven't bothered with it since last year. And the new Forza, I like it even less. I've played hundreds upon hundreds of hours of Forza spanning over 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and FH5, and I was hoping we'd get something to rival FM4, and instead we got something that doesn't even rival FM7. It's buggy af, the baked in anti-aliasing sucks and makes the game look blurry, framerates randomly dip for no reason (though the new patch has improved that somewhat), and the track list is too small, among a host of other things.
For perspective, FM8 currently has a 39% positive rating on Steam, which for those keeping track is only slightly ahead of the 31% positive rating *Redfall* has. Yes, the new Forza is barely rated better on Steam than Redfall. It also has an average rating of 2 stars out of 5 on the XBox app. It has earned every bit of that scorn. I played it for about 20 hours total and haven't touched it in several days. The game feels like it's in beta. Maybe in in 6 months after they fix everything it'll be worth playing.

Who ever came up with the practice session need to be smacked at turn 10. I get the idea, but why pace the AI so that they are slowed down to be at every corner disrupting your racing line.
Second issue is still why are the AI able to out accelerate you from the start, and be useless everywhere else a lap into your race.

Yes but gt your car is always middle of the screen forza your car willturn a bit so you can tell it’s turning there are 0 bumps on the road….. best way I’ve heard so far is forza your car moves around the truck gt the track moves around your car.

I’m pretty sure the people that like FM more are people that play dominantly on XBox and the people that like GT more are people that play dominantly PS. I hope this game is good enough to make Polyphony Digital feel like they finally have a competitor and step up their game, but I’m pretty sure they won’t because I for one am not buying an xbox just for Forza and I don’t really see this being a competitor

Not entirely accurate as I own both consoles. My predominant platform is PC. As for Forza being a competitor, oh you better believe it. Forza is open to a much bigger audience than GT7 as it's available on Xbox, PC, mobile devices and some models of Samsung tv. GT7 is only available to people with a PS4 or PS5. So you can pretty much guarantee that Polyphony Digital see it as a rival.
You don't buy an Xbox JUST for Forza, you buy one for Forza, Halo, Doom, Wolfenstein, Fallout , Elder Scolls, Prey, Dishonored, Fable, Outer Worlds, State Of Decay, Ages of Empires, Flight Simulator, Stalker, COD, Spyro, Crash, Perfect Dark, Starfield, Avowed, Hellblade etc, Game Pass and the other miriad of games and features missing on the Playstation platform this gen.
Just like you don't just buy a Playstation for Ghost of Tsushima. I am sure Playstation has some other great exclusives too (just can't think of them off hand).

I like the game, but I hate the fact you don't earn your starting position for the race,instead, you get to choose where you start on the grid in career mode. I don't like that.
Gt 7 has haptic feedback and adaptive triggers that mimick abs and lock up, so it is not even fair to compare the two games on controllers.

@@panamike6178 I tried Forza yesterday, and I downloaded dualsensex program, but still the game does not recognize a ps5 controller, the steering is awful, it jumps from full lock to full lock, no progression on L2 and R2, comnpared to GT7 it is trash, and GT7 was awesome on the controllers and not to mention VR, the want to hypoe up every xbox game on microsoft money, but sofar ps5 is wiping the floor with xbox, eversince Starfield is a mediocre game and Redfall is the worst fail ever, sony even if they are slow to release the games, the ones sofar are all good quality.

I am lucky to own both a gaming pc with an xbox game pass, and a ps5 with ps plus extra, and I buy most of the new games used on blue ray for half the price than on playstore. The only thing xbox has the edge on game pass, they provide AA titles like Lies of P, Atomic Heart, and their inhouse studio games day one launch for free, that ps plus cannot give for free, but xbox game pass cannot give third party titles day one for free like AC Mirage, Mk 1 etc.
Forza Motorsport totally fucked up all of the classic tracks. They ripped out the heart and soul of the tracks turning them into bubblegum pop versions of what used to be battle marches. Take a look Laguna Seca for the gods' sakes! Mario Andretti is turning over in his grave at what they did to his hairpin! It's not a hairpin damn it! It's a goddamn volumizing hot roller!
Gt7 is so boring, people keep saying you need practice but the gameplay itself can never be the same as actual driving already so there is no point to keep following it. Actually if you chance your driving instinct to follow gt7 it even affects your driving in real life, I experienced it. And in general it's less fun to keep playing like that.

I started on GT1, switched to FM2 on the 360, and have not looked back. Forza Motorsport surpasses GT7 in a lot of aspects. Mainly the fun factor. I've played GT7 as well. I almost fell asleep 15-20 minutes into the game. A snore fest for sure.

I like both. I play Forza on PC not on Xbox. Gt7 ist outstanding in every way. However, Forza is the graphically prettier game, as Forza intentionally prefers "beautiful and artistic" graphics over realistic graphics. Of course purists complain but hey, what the hell, it just looks a lot more aesthetically pleasing.
Own both and I always end up back on GT7. GT7 supporting the PSVR2 is the cherry on top! I also just love the simplicity of the menus in GT. It’s always been so good. The only thing Forza had on GT back in the day was the modding but GT has caught up since especially with the newest Forza.

Its good on controller but that doesnt makw up for the rest that is an afterthought. Watching side by sides make this brutally apparent. Also, GT7 has the tactile adaptive triggers and better vibration, which i still prefer controller wise.
Lets just say, ive barely gotten started on my complaints. I play it on Ultra on my PC and it looks worse than almost all racers from 2023, including the prior FH5.

Forza score = 2/10. Not optimized for PC at all. Visuals on PC is super sad, it can't even render at full monitor resolution. Nor can it run more than 60fps, during online race!? More content is of no value if the driving, game mechanic's and poor wheel force feedback is not fixed. The driver assistance is so overpowered, many console players set it to max and let the game drive itself for hours to gain xp... Release more content, the game will be dead in 6 months!

sounds like a paid promotion for Forza Motorsport disguised as a comparison video. The Risk vs Reward option is only available in the extremely limited and lacking “career” mode. It’s no in free play where you can actually have more races you want.
