Love the music in this level. The combination of the music and the fact that chaos feels secure to operate in the open, gives the feeling that things have gotten out of hand and that its too late to do any good.
The writing in this game is terrifically good for a game from 2004. Most video games back then were still being written by the developer's brother Jeff who ran the Friday night D&D game or whatever, but DoW1 manages to use its limited array of storytelling tools (a few VO actors, some limited and not-very-great in-engine animation) to tell a solid, coherent story with twists and turns, strong characters and memorable dialogue. "And yet here I am again, at yet another doorstep, with the executioner's blade in my very hand."
+Christian Plante yeah its annoying, when i uploaded the dawn of war playthrough videos 2 years ago, there wasn't any problems with the music in game, now im getting all the stupid content id matches. luckily i kept all the original video/files, so i could re-edit/re-upload them.
redalert2havoc Always a good idea to keep the original stuff! Glad to hear you didn't have to replay through each of them, it'd just seem like drudgery for me at that point. But I do appreciate each DoW vid you put out.
@@redalert2havoc Yeah, looks like I'll watch this Dawn of War saga to the bitter end... A shame the third person shooter Space Marine won't be part of it. That's basically an epilogue to Retribution.
The cult is ushering in evil to this world, the eldar didn't explain the threat clearly, and all the time, Sindri and Isador are playing a game of who gets what. I love the plot.

Its so epic
This is a very challenging mission :/
The first time I have played it, I was too comfortable building my base, when suddenly mission failed. haha

Chant. Great theme.
I swear, Sindri knows how to get things done.
Other than that, it sucks your stuff keeps getting blocked/muted. It's like with Nintendo games now.

Content ID is the worst. It's overzealous to the point that it could probably teach the Inquisitors some new things.

This mission was the best.

Hope Toth comes back in Dawn of war 3
That didn't age very well xD

+Mad Mike I killed them off to make room for a assault terminator squad.
That's messed up man
You can select a squad/building and use canc to kill them
@@erikstrauss6022 Only in death does duty end!
Maybe to corpse emperor worshippers
