Thank you!! I've been tuning up my vehicles since I was 24, was a lucky gal with good buds in maintenence. I'm turning 51 tomorrow, and with a different car again, no need for a Chilton's, you tube it!! Just needed to locate things quick for an oil change, and I don't comment on videos, but dude, you made it so easy peasy! You rock! Gonna check out your other videos now! 😎🤘
Good video and clear voice. No crappy music. It’s exactly the way I do the job. I would of liked to see the Fram XG 7317 oil filter. The filter is full synthetic metal caps with wire backing and silicone ADBV. Under $10.00 at Walmart. Again great job well done.
Like the video and thanks. Only thing is when I seen the Fram oil filter. Don't use those. Inside is very cheap made, (with cardboard) and not designed to last. It actually may break apart and particles of the filter flowing through your engine. Look up oil comparison videos. Those guys took apart many brands and showed quality comparisons. I no longer use Fram.
You did ever everything right. Except, when you used a "Fram Filter." If you plan on keeping your Vehicle for a good while. Please use (Depending on, if you use Synthetic Oil or Regular Oil) The best would be "The OEM Honda A01 Filter (you can still find them online) or a Mobil 1 Extended Performance Filter or a Bosch Filter if on a Budget, use Wix Filter. (Fram isn't the best oil filter to use)
The oil level drops significantly when you start the engine as the oil heads into the new oil filter so 5 quarts might be a smidge more than you need but won’t cause problems.
The engine in these cars need 4.6 quarts, HOWEVER, the filter holds half a quart, therefore, if completely drained and a new filter is installed, you will need 5.1q of oil. That .1 is alright to leave out also

The higher end synthetic ones are just fine. But yes the cheaper $3.50 basic ones are trash
lubing the filter gasket also keeps the gasket from rolling as you tighten it. it will stick and not seal.

Good tip. I usually try to use a higher quality filter when I can.

The "Honda OEM A01 Filter."
But, the other I put on the reply are Top notch.

If you get the Fram filter made for synthetic oil, it has metal parts.
Awesome vid mate
Thanks 💯
How bad would it be if I put all 5 quarts in?
