    Jim, I enjoyed & learned from your video, the big difference from others is that you show all the small details that you need to perform this oil change.

    Great video. The only thing I would do differently is to reset the oil % at the end. No chance to accidentally start the engine dry…

    Thankyou for the detailed video.
    I maintain daughter's 2019 Pilot but I cut out some of the splash guard in order to access the filter rather than remove passenger tire. At the time I didn't think about turning the passenger tire to the right.

    Thanks. Only thing I don't get is where is the transmission or ctv not sure which it's called on this model. Where do we fill that and how often? Huntington Park CA. But I will change the oil from now on

      Sorry I have not really looked yet but if I'm going to guess it probably is a sealed system so hard to check and fill. That is how my old 2007 Tundra was

    I see, your tourq wrench handle is 15 " long. When you said the both numbers (ft/lb.) , for lug nuts and drain pan bolt, was it after conversion to 15" or it was the number taken from manual , which in your situation will be wrong torque tension?

    • @DIYJIM
      @DIYJIM  8 місяців тому

      I was giving you the torque spec from the manual. Thanks for watching.

    I'd say don't reset the maintenance minder while the engine is empty. Too easy to accidentally start the car for most people.
