There'll be a full, stupid custom character combo video at some point in the future but wanted to try something a little more concentrated for this one. Basically if Rashid borrowed some attacks from the other characters.

It's not the flashy combos, the dedication to learning these, or the presentation. It's the fact that desk mastered all the moves in WT tour just to make this video. Patience I will never have.

@@kozy9169 I think you can also get lucky with arcade mode if I'm not mistaken.
It isn't terribly practical but for better or worse, you have options even if they should be far better.

I, for one, would love to see more showcases of custom character combos. It's fairly underexplored/rare content, and it would be cool to see what the FGC's premier combo technician comes up with.

It's really unfortunate that most moves aren't compatible because they have the same directional input. For example Ken's Dragon Kick and Shuriyuken. Really limits the potential of a lot of stuff. Can't even make a regular Ryu clone either for the story mode. Cool thing is it makes you experiment on what to put together. For example I added flash kick to Ken and Yoga Fire for some extra sauce and as a good replacement for his moves

Did they fix the thing where you cant use 2 specials with the same input but ones punch n the others kick? I dont go home till dis weekend
No, sadly. It makes it just a bit too limiting to create movesets, but I assume it has to do with keeping Modern controls usable.
@@ClouseFair well thats weird cuz you can have all 3 supers be the exact same input, cuz youre forced to use light for lvl 1, med for lvl 2, n heavy for lvl 3, but not normal specials, so you cant even copy chars movesets properly, even tho modern and classic are pretty separate, hate it here

While we're on the topic of Rashid with other moves. I had fun Combo'ing his EX Eagle Spike into Flash Kick or Guile's Lv3 super, but combo'ing EX Eagle Spike or Lv2 into Zangief's EX Air SPD is especially hilarious! XD

What's your process for finding these sick-ass combos in the infinite sea of options in create-a-character?
I don't have this game but I'm just curious if its possible to make a moveset that is only kicks so you can make Sanji from One Piece.
Definitely. I created Mori Jin and he does taekwondo and you can make all his special moves and super arts kicks only
For example one special could be Chun-Li's lightning legs

Man, there should be a custom combo contest with
default setting with like 3-4 body types (short, tall, average, big?).
Players pick out a limited or draft combos/characters.
Then perform it in a limited time frame (like skateboard contest)
Since the redbull combo contest this has been in my mind....

must be hard to land these combos on NPCs!!! they have like no health, if u mess up u gotta go find a different one. good job Desk!
There are food items in this game that significantly debuff the damage of your punch, kick, throw, unique attacks. Those can be useful if you don't wanna KO your opponent too quickly.
