Just imagine. This album wasn’t guaranteed. Su & Moa recently did an interview with Billboard. In the interview, Su had said their plan was to have a 10-year BabyMetal career. After 10 years, they took a break from BabyMetal. They accomplished their goal. But it was Su’s love of performing and pushing BabyMetal to different directions. Meanwhile, Moa kept her promise to Su to always support her. Pay attention of the track, Believing. The lyrics epitomize what Su was talking about the inspiration for The Other One.
This is my favorite track on the album for two reasons. It's my favorite chorus on ANY Babymetal song and for all the reasons you mentioned with composition. Composition is key. Heavy, soft, melodic, monochrome... err.. monotone, electric, pop, rock are NOTHING compared to composition. You can make a song with any or all of those elements but if the composition isn't amazing (like every Babymetal song) it falls flat... I have come to realize that Heavy and Kawaii don't define Babymetal. It's the way that the music is composed.
Man if you're surprised by this song, try listen their "Tales of Destinies", which I don't know if you've listened it before but that really blew me to out of space. Would love to watch your reaction on that. You would be in for an amazing treat

[Source : magazine PMC vol.27 page 39] So the difference between almost natural voice and effected voice may be intended to emphasize the dichotomy. And the passage too fast to grasp "Double, double, toil and trouble" and "Fire burn and cauldron bubble" is by Moa. Su said in the article she loves the part by Moa in the 2nd verse. Yes, this song is hard, progressive one. But the other new songs left on the new album, they are so good too. I can not wait you to react to them, zum zum, haha. The busyness of mine in the end of this year (2023 Nendo) has finally come to an end, phew. Last night, I had a drink at a familiar Izakaya bar near my house. I had a few sick moments on YT lately, though, anyway, I'm almost getting ready to go to the Yokohama concert on 1th April. Takano Seminar YTc predicted that Kami Band the West might make an appearance there in preparation for the Sabaton tour. I'm only going to be there for the first day, Black Night, again, but I'm going to enjoy it!

This is my favourite Prog Electro Death Metal Ballad! 🦊🤘🤘🦊 Every song on this album has a different feel but Su's voice links them all. MAYA and METALIZM and Mirror, MIRROR are my 3 faves...at the moment.

"Tales of the Destinies" was the last full on prog metal song they did and that song was so CRAZY they only performed it live once and with choreography!! 🤘🦊🤘
Yeah that diversity it's one of the things I like the most of Babymetal! There are 2 japanese groups that are similar on that aspect: - Maximum the Hormone have some fully poppy songs, and others that are full of screams and growls, with stuff in the between - Nemophila, even if not as much as BM, they also have some good variety, expecially in the songs that are not put out as MV! I would like for you to check out one of the new BM tracks that doesn't have a video, but you can find the song with Subtitles on Babymetaltube's channel! The song name is "Metalizm", and it's my favourite of this album :D

Absolutely beautiful.
I really liked it initially, but it kinda fell off. The Legend has taken some getting used to, but it's growing on me. Current top three is Metalizm, Believing and Time Wave.

What absolute jam.....probably the best chorus BM has done,,,,,and they have a lot of great chorus's.
Both the music and those visuals were fire.
