This dude really gets straight to the point with his videos, definitely subscribing bro!
Nice Vette 👍🏻 Good for you for achieving a car of this caliber at your age, why wait till you're old to buy and enjoy it, life is short so heck enjoy it now 👍🏻
Easiest subscribe ever. Third video I've watched in a row and you are consistent with content and not wasting our time in the start of your videos like every other UA-cam channel. You'll go far man. Sick C8 and congrats.
Great video man, I really appreciate the transparency and honesty. This is a super car that anyone with dedication, will power and work ethic can strive towards.
Love how honest and up front you are with no BS.... subscribing. thanks.
Your videos are not only informative but also very entertaining. Your are a natural. BTW, great video editing 👍
This guy never should of shared his finances online....because alot of broke people will start telling him things like "upside down" and "He should of done this or that"
It is funny that 75% of Americans don't even have $500 saved but 100% of people on UA-cam are "financial advisors" all of a sudden.😂😂😂😂
The guy has enough money to waste....
YOU DONT....
Stop being jealous
You're amazing and hit all these haters right on the head! Most of these clowns drive mongoose and BMX bikes lol.
Tomorrow is not promised so enjoy what you can now. Now he can make a killer profit if he wanted to sell it.
Surprisingly not too expensive regarding the performance level. My wife bought a 2014 tts several years back for 30k. which we still own. The car retailed for 62k new.
You give out more information on the Vette than a salesman would after you bought one from him
Thank you
Salesman always try and hide the hidden fees
My guru dave ramsey would kill me if i told this story but beautiful ride brother. Enjoy.
It depends on what his income is to some degree. Dave always says if you buy a new car to pay cash, BUT, if your total vehicles combined are less than half your annual income you're OK. ;-)
Vehicles is a asset, he could easily still sell it for 70% of its total value.
When I was 17 years old I bought a 1972 454 Vette in late 1973 . It was a used year old when I got it ,but pretty much new. It cost me $5,200. I paid off the car within a year, because the insurance was shy high for a 17 year old. Yes, the new vette's are way different in technology from my 1972. I did very little to get my car to run on the drag strip to the low 10's. Some times I think the price of cars have gotten way out of hand.
True. I just used an inflation calculator. Even adjusted for inflation that $5,200 in 73' is only $32,000 in today's dollars. That's insane.
Great looking car. I'm thinking of getting one and putting 30 g's as a down payment, to keep the monthly payments low.
Same 😂
It is sad that the dealers are allowed to charge people 5000 over the cost of the vehicle .myself I will not pay over MSRP I will not pay MSRP. I’m waiting for my GM discount which will happen I love your car love the color Great video.
Dealers can charge whatever people are willing to pay. Back in the day the "additional markup" on a PT Cruiser of all things was over $10K.
Why do they charge so much? Because they CAN, SOMEONE will buy it because they want one NOW.
It's the same reason many Ferrari dealers won't sell you a new Ferrari unless you buy one or more used Ferraris from them first.
Just an AWESOME upfront video. Thanks for the much needed info to help me whether to buy or not.
Bro....this video was awesome. Straight to the point. Thank you for sharing the specific details of your purchase so I have an idea of what I'm getting into finance wise. So many vids on youtube are hella shady not giving real raw numbers. Enjoy your new bad ass whip!!
Borrowing for a rapidly depreciating toy, making loan payments instead of regular investments, is not wise. I could buy a fleet of cars like yours with cash now because I wised up financially. You can too. Beautiful car, no denying that.
@@benchoflemons398 Unlike you, I have built what most would call a very large amount of wealth. Believing that the financing of a rapidly depreciating asset, a toy no less, is a good idea, is financial illiteracy that will keep you broke. Not sure why you mention the 4% rule (not a law) because it is unrelated to that principle. But I will tell you anyway that it is outdated. I base that assessment on my own calculations, not what some broke youtuber proclaims. So you keep theorizing based on ignorance from your room in Mama's house, and I will keep living it and winning.
Local dealer is selling them for 80k now. Down from almost 100k a couple of months ago. They will soon sell for low 70s maybe by mid next year.
I placed my order at my dealer, and with my car being over a year out, I’m gonna negotiate my price to msrp as I know dealers in my city that are selling msrp. Either sell with me to guarantee a sale and commission for yourself, or have this car on the lot, and compete against your co-workers and lose your chance to gain a bonus this week. You gotta sometimes fight and negotiate
@@richardmolina953 which city bro? I need one at that price haha ;)
I m making about 150,000 a year credit score of 786 but still too cheap to buy one of these bad boys. But still watch all the C8 videos 😂. Great video and to the point.

Yes married and with 4 kids. All under 4 years of age
Me and my gf both make 150k total of 300k and still too cheap to buy lolol
Solid video brother. Thanks much for your honesty and straightforwardness. SUBSCRIBED! Also, congratulations on your new ride.
Thanks
Congrats. Beautiful car bro. I’m gettin one once my kids are out the house (5 years)
Sad to say but if that dealer did not charge a 5K premium you could have got a 2LT with the better options, like PDR, front cameras, mirror camera, etc.. Shop around for interest rate and dealers. You need to think nationwide if you want this car. Many dealers will go at MSRP for this car. Love the car, congrats.
Great videos!
Straightforward, down to earth,Like the videos a lot.
Useful info.
Much appreciated!
For a very high performance car....that's actually a really good price 65k$!...congrats bro!
$70k with the mark up, he clearly said $5k mark up
Great video and thanks for sharing! I just ordered a 2021 (they said it will be a 2022) and they just charged sticker. But I have to wait... If I wanted one now I can pay 20k over sticker, so at 5k, I don't think you did too bad.
Lucky 🍀
I bought my first Corvette in 2013 C6 vert. Like you I was surprised that Insurance was low.
Thanks for sharing man! Can’t get tired of new owners getting their cars.
First time seeing your video, love the car and your personality bro! Subscribing!
Bad news you got a really bad financial terms on this deal.
Good news this is one of the few cars that have appreciated in value. If I were you I would lightly drive it for a month or two and than sell it for a quick 15-20k profit before you get eaten alive by that loan.
I've seen $50,000 over MSRP and the dealer thought he was doing me a favor by reducing it by $20,000. Still No Sale with me, will not pay over MSRP. Not that gullible, my money looks better in my pocket than someone else's.
Smart move… but the dealer knows someone else WILL.
I tried to get on the waitlist for one at a dealer near me, 3-4 years is what they said. Unreal.
I knew you were in the SoCal/IE ! Those house designs are a dead give away. Good review bro

I'm a little older as well...I know your a younger guy..but u will learn if anything in life that u NEVER pay more than MRSP for any car...If People like yourself give in to dealership charging this outages prices..they will never stop doing it...Always remember the Consumer has the POWER...if they dont treat u right (price)...then let it sit on their lot...GM will catch up..and u could have gotten a car with more options or maybe a 2LT...Its Life and everyone has to Learn...but cool car I just put my order in for a 2022...
Bro, all I can tell you is you should have sold it to Car Max and made 7 grand profit. That 80 months at 980 dollars a month plus insurance , OUCH!
But what about 11k down?
it a rich people car... why the hell people who had hard time paying of it get them.. it is a gm.. it will break down on you... alot...

Memo for future reference: First, always get your financing before you go to the dealer. Second, never pay the sticker price. Third, make an offer for an out the door price which includes: taxes, tags, title, fees, etc. Fourth, make the final negotiated out the door price based on your offer not the dealer's suggested price. Fifth, be willing to walk away from the deal and go to another dealership. {Welcome to the Vette Crew--I own a 2019 Z-06}
Yes that's the old school teaching but now with 40% of the dollars that ever existed conjured into the economy in the last two years and being a significant seller's market you no longer have the bargaining power that you did before 2020.
Good video, thanks for being up front. Be safe driving.
Congratulations! Sadly my order was switched to a 2021 so I wait. Great video and detail. Fortunately I have a very straight forward dealer. Subd!

Go refinance the car. Asap. Seasoned car sales guy here. Thanks for the review. I wish theses were selling for MSRP or around there. I hate the way this year is going. Everything is overpriced.
I love c8 corvette but the only thing I hate about it is that I don’t have one!
sell it if you can make a profit while you can! there's gonna be used c8's in no time!
yeah
Exactly, it was almost a $10k profit, he can just go buy another one and put $20k down this time and instead of $11k

C8 is awesome 👏
Like your videos because you're straight to the point. I'm supposed to have my allocation up in March/April. From the rough estimate that I've gotten, my monthly will be roughly 1200 to 1300 a month.
You’re gonna love your car. 👍
I don't know why but my dad (RIP) told me to never finance a car--you are paying for someone else's house. Now, any Joe blow will finances a car (they can't afford it). I have lived within my means through my life, comfortably in the upper middle class--house paid off and ready to retire. I have owned only one brand new car (paid cash) in my life. I currently drive a used Nissan Leaf. Sometimes I wonder what life would have been like if I splurged on things I wanted.
Total you will pay is $89,880 with the 11k down you gave them.
If it makes him happy and he can afford it then why not?
Bro, They Saw You Coming A Mile Away! Enjoy your ride!
80 months, 5.7 INT, 64K ride turns into 80 k!!! Dealers call this kind of buyer a Bird Dog!!
@@VinVizz62 what do you mean by that comment??
@@julioramirez4742 Sorry bro there's no easy way to tell you this but you got screwed. Your term is 80 months? Dealers love guys like you. They make tons of $$$. Pull out your contract. Take a look at what your total payoff will be in 80 months compared to what the sales price is. You're going to pay more than 80K for this car. You were an easy target for the salesman. If I were you I would sell it because the market will get you a lot more than you paid for it. After you sell it. Buy a new C8 with the extra money you make. You can put more $$$ down, shorten your term, decrease your monthly payment and come out with a better financial position overall. Not to mention you could probably get a 2LT with Z51 package.
@@VinVizz62 ahhh I see. I didn't buy the car by the way. Lol I was just curious as to what you meant. Does make a lot of sense though 👌
@@julioramirez4742 Didn't buy it??? If you're the guy in this video you lied about the whole thing?
Just watched your vid. Great job and Congrats:!!!
I used to sell cars, when the finance manager says "you'll get a lower interest rate from the lender if you do this..." just know that it's a lie. The lender doesn't give a shit what service plan you get, they were holding "points" (a higher interest rate) so they can then lower it and sell you their serivce package and make themselves look like a hero. Any finance manager that uses this tactic is weak and doesn't believe in their service enough to just sell it to you. Don't fall for it, get that interest rate whether or not you want the service plan and if they refuse to give it to you without it then walk away and watch them run after you.
Straight to the point, Thanks for the great transparent video
I’m glad for you man, enjoy your baby. You could have gotten a Toyota celica, but you decided to live it up instead. No judgement here. Life is short, you’ll make better decisions in the future. Some guys buy $3,500 grills. I love my cauldron, just like you love your vette. Peace out!
Thanks Bruh, congrats. Great video and super sweet car!!!

Yea I hate all the BS that comes with going to dealerships. I’m looking at a 2022 3LT convertible and in my area they still have it marked up 25k!! It doesn’t help that car max is across the street so I guess they feel the need to be competitive. A state over I found a 2LT convertible for 8K over but they have yet to call me back after I left them a message days ago. Sad man. Congrats on your C8 💪
Happy for you!! Enjoy the C8
Thank you
Congratulations my friend, i have a c5 corvette and i love it, i can imagine having a c8 😍👍🏻
Yep that’s a fine car I have been thinking of one but I am Mustang GT nut And I got a tougher decision to make before I pull the trigger
Note to self, get credit score all the way up, have more than enough cash to buy it outright, look for 0% apr financing for at least 12 months. Then pay it off after a year.
Financing for depreciating assets SUCKS ladies and gentlemen!
So precise and no nonsense gained a subscriber
I knew you were local 😂 you look like you could be my older brother. Are you a framer or electrician that made it? :0 lol
Can you do a video of your monthly cost of ownership? Gas/Repairs/Oil change/Tires? Any issues with the front clearance with no automatic raise as it does in the 2L trim.
So far no issues with ground clearance. And not having the automatic raise
Think 11k plus 80 x 980 = 89,400$... It was not a good deal. Plus you need to factor in the interest rate over time. He will be paying over 100k for the car all said and done. He should go into his bank and refinance the car at a 3% or less loan ASAP! Another option is to sell the car ASAP and get 5-10k in his pocket. Then wait till 2023 and buy a used fully loaded 2021 in the used market or place an order for the newer year and not pay over MSRP when they hype dies down a bit. Its gonna be hard to let the car go but in the long run you will do much better off and still have the same car. Just wait a bit, shop interest rates and go into the dealer prepared with a loan already from your bank so they cant hustle you on the hype. Also negotiate with you bank and give the bank your down payment because dealers like to finagle shady numbers to steal your down payment. When they have you in the chair they know you will sign anything and you wont read it all. Be careful. Do it right, get rid of the car and put yourself in a better deal and a better upgraded car in a few months with more money in your pocket.
Great vid a lot of info and sick c8!
How's those front radiators holding up given their lack of protection from kicked up rocks and debris?
Thank you for your honest review. Awesome car.
wow panda you have great credit score
Just did the math for comparison purposes: A 2023 model of this same car with same specs will now cost you $71,940, that’s a $6,945 increase in price in 3 model years. That’s quite a jump of $7k!
A $65,000 list price car that puts $300,000 exotics to shame. You just can't beat Chevrolet.

@Panda Driven the c8 corvette is my dream car If you don’t mind me asking how much money do you need to make to get a c8 1lt
When I bought a 2012 Camaro SS I had a payment of about 750 a month. Your car payment is expensive but at least it’s under a thousand. Nice car! I bought a clean 93 vert with 36k miles to avoid a car payment but I’ll take a C7 or C8 in a heartbeat.
I wish I could afford one of those! Very nice my favorite color
Very affordable to be honest. Just save up around $500 a month for the next 5 years and finance the rest for a used one, monthly payments will be similar to a brand new Camry maybe even less.
You did well. Love the car. Yolo. Probably the value went up on it since it's hard to buy one now...
Good vibes bro great info
Beautiful Car
Good luck getting any C8 for anything close to MSRP, regardless of configuration!
This is my dream car but I bought an Infiniti QX80 and you're paying less per month than I am 😭 at around the same interest rate. Is it still difficult to get it at the price you got it for? My brother-in-law went on a mission to find one and he said it feels impossible so I lost hope and settled with my SUV.
a lot of people are commenting about the price you gotta understand know matter what you’re getting ripped off that’s that. It’s not worth $980 month $11k down for 80 months because most of that $980 payment ain’t going to the car principal it’s going towards the interest but 6% interest rate ain’t bad. So what I would’ve done is try an put less down as little as possible have it for a year in trade it in. + you gotta remove full tanks of premium gas ⛽️ in the best full coverage insurance + paint protection. So man it’s of money no joke
If you would have bought your car at Rotolo and not paid 5K over sticker then you could have made a $12K profit. Then you could have afforded more options.
Very helpful. Thank you
Actually if you get a loan, the dealership gets a front end, AND back end cut. To be honest. Selling a new car is not where its at at a new car dealership. New cars you are doing great if you make 1% a year on new car sales. The money is in used cars and service. New car Dealerships also get a holdback from the manufacturer on a new car. Plus there are other incentives, trips, Rolex watches, etc. etc. from manufacturers for special promotions; sell so many during a month, etc..
Take the 82k that car will be worth 32 before you know it
I don’t really know much about cars can you explain why?

Beautiful car and couldn't be happier for you. But as a business owner, who had to buy some Chevy trucks for my business, because the Fords F250's were hard to find, I cant stand Chevy. Period. I went in for a factory recall that I received in the mail. It was all electronic system recall stuff. I had to leave my truck for 4 hours, I come back, service manager tells me I need $1486.00 dollars worth of non warranty work. WTF!! I have a full time certified mechanic at my business. He does an impeccable job of maintaining a total of 5 Chevy's and 10 F series fords. I told the manager I do not want any work to be done, I just want what the factory recall. He then proceeds to tell me it will be $140.00 charge for looking for the problems. WTF!! I swear, talk about pieces of shit. I went off on him in the enclosed service bay, and did it on purpose, amazingly, the GM of the dealership comes out and says, oh, we don't need to charge you for that. One more question - how's navigating without the additional cameras/blind spot notifications stock in 2LT?
I know it's a pretty basic question as folks can say "how did we do it before the tech" - just have heard it's a bit rough for blind spots and want to hear from someone who drives a 1LT regularly :D
