I got a 2024 for 66k before the price jump. Bare bones 1LT. I didn't have any credit history other than cards but I had a 760. I put down 33k and pay 613 a month. I got high 7% through GM. GM also allows you to pay on principle tho which is nice.
For insurance I found Travellers to be the best insurance.
Congrats bro 🤞🏾
@jrod.717 you too, man. It's crazy to think that when this car came out in 2020, it felt so unreachable.
@@trcythmpsn now you wake up and see it outside 🙌🏾
@jrod.717 I got mine October 2023, and I still love turning that corner and seeing it, haha.
It definitely helps me get up for work.
Good choice I had a c8…great car.
Thank you 💪🏾
Let me figure out how to stop going from paycheck to paycheck first then figure out how many years it will take for me to save 26k then maybe then I can.
Hey bro, what else other than the good credit score that helped you to get that low interest? Like your debt to income ratio and stuff like that
Financing with a bank and having good credit. Have low debts if you have any credit cards, good payment history. Gotta have credit history too.. gotta have steady job and income obviously too.
I got my hellcat through a bank , intrest at 3.7% with 0 down payment
Exactly
Income for sure. Try not to have no revolving monthly credit debt unless it’s an installment loan like a car or house.
Always tell a dealer to NOT shotgun your credit
How the hell I have a 2021 Toyota Camry with clean driving records, and my insurance is higher than yours😳
when was the last time you shopped around?
A month and a half ago but been shopping around over a year
hows the maintenance on that c8?
Cheap
I get it I was young and stupid at one time too. Wasted lots of money on depreciating assets. You need to buy a house first son and then the toys come afterwards.
Wondering what your income and networth is 😂 but im sure you wont give that out... im really considering getting one but i still got a little work i need to do financially. Credit is there. Money is almost there. Anyway nice car bro! Thankz for sharing.
You’ll get it soon brother! Keep going
Slick my dream car too how crazy am I as a poor college student to finance this car if I were to pay $250 monthly and I make like 650 a month? Really considering it tho ik it sounds wild
Who CARS !! PLEASE !
Pretty impressive deal
How did you get your high credit score by the age of 22?
Paying debt instantly and never carrying a balance. Installment loans are really good too
Paying almost 1k a month for six years is wildddd
Everything is relative. Its not if you make $10,000 per month
@AaronBrooks0321 you're right, money is relative. But he's objectively going to pay a ton in interest over a 72 month financing plan. If he's making $10k a month, he should have saved up and put a larger down payment on it, or just bought it outright.
@@Olafaloofian eh I guess but it's not completely sunk cost as cars retain value. Id argue the trips to Dunkin donuts are a worse spend. Spending 100k over 6 years for a car that costs 80k but you enjoyed it for 6 years makes sense to me. We pay a premium for everything else we enjoy in life
Subbed 🦇
Appreciate it bro 🤝🏾
At today's prices, you could have saved at least 8k more money.
I mean you do you, but 10-11k in interest over the life of the loan is a lot of money, not to mention car payments over $800/m mean you need to make net 8k or more a month to properly afford the car with enough left over for everything else.
9 time out of 10 I won’t have the car for a full 6 years but I do understand your point. Thanks for the comment
WHO IS YOUR INSURANCE THRU?????
Liberty mutual
Very bad financial decision no matter your age. Negative equity guaranteed you saved zero money you will lose money and a six year loan? 6.47 APR? Yikes
Agreed
Can you explain what you mean by "lose money"?
The APR is just icing on the cake never mind you're 20% per year depreciation on asset.
What do you do for work and also what did you do to get your credit score that high by 22y/o?
Usually to a credit score that high you have to have a lot of debt in your name. Like having a house and things like that.
i had a 815 credit at that age and i was far from debt its not that hard just dont miss a payment ..i just pay it the second a receive it (you dont need to finance a house .. a car is fine )
@@financewithpom4315ok so how did you begin? Were did you start you credit? You said stuff but didnt really bring a real answer
THIS IS THE KEY 🔑
Going to make another video on this top specifically .. but how I built it was to charge things to the credit card and pay it off the second it posts.
It’s a great car but just think if you invested that amount per month for 72 months,
7:44 🤦🏽♂️🙏🏽
Dropping that kind of money at age 22 on a depreciating asset? 72 months at 6.5% interest? Beautiful car but unless you’re Elon Musk’s kid I don’t get it. If you’ve got $20k for a down payment, I’m wondering what sort of work you do?
I couldn’t agree with you more. But hindsight is 20-20
Did they sell you an extended warranty?
They offered it but I declined. Certified cars come with 100k mile powertrain warranty.
Stupidest thing i did was Finance a Hugh price Car at 23!! if you can't pay Cash for it you CAN'T Afford it! Should've Invested that $$ at 23 instead of Stunting for the public!!
100% correct
bro i pay 250 for a 3k car im getting robbed
W
Get the loan separate from the dealer.
You’ll save more
First of all congrats...you put 26K down....984 monthly payment..not bad...You only live once its only green paper your not taking it with you!
Bro, I pay $1200 a month on my 550k house I bought for 387k in 2020. Your car addiction is going to keep you broke for life.
387k ? You must live in the sticks
@@thanos2727 population of 200k big 10 college town so not really.
ok you live once 🤷♂️, buying a lamborghini is easier then buying a house 🤷♂️.
What if i have no credit but have $100k? Could i put $35k down and still be excepted?
Don’t think so. Should be good if you could get to 650 score though
@@jrodsellscars ok
Awesome
I’m paying more in insurance on my Lexus😭only 1 accident on my record
I feel you bro 🥲 it comes with it !
I have a perfect driving record mine insurance want 500 a month and I was 23
I my opinion you should never finance a car that expensive but i mean Im happy for you .If your salary make it possible go for it
💪🏾
Holyshit 1.5k a month… I’m never going to afford a car like that and I’m 30 lol
Yes you will
