The funny thing is Terminator 2 is an R-rated film and they were marketing it as kid friendly with toys but when Batman Returns came out which was only a PG-13 film which also sold toys in stores and in McDonald's Happy Meals people backlashed at it and said it was too violent and disturbing and shouldn't be marketed for children what a bunch of hypocrites

In two weeks, I'll actually be presenting a Panel at Portland's Rose City Comic Con about this very phenomenon. Though Terminator 2 was, more or less, the last hurrah of the selling of R-rated films to kids. It followed Robocop, Aliens, and the Rambo franchises.

Gotta say, although new modern figures look more accurate, even for cheap ones, old ones had the coolest features and gimmicks!
I miss the 90s when Toy Companies used to make R rated movie toylines❤. Now we have to wait for Companies like Neca, Hot Toys & etc for childhood nostalgia to get made in Action Figure form😭
Funny, I mean dispite them being for that Genisys movie I didn't care for much, I usually thought the Mega Bloks/Construx sets and figures of the Terminator franchise were pretty decent lol.
i love my parents for buying me some of these when i was a kid, they gave me good childhood memories.
This is much, much better than an actual movie!
I would watch the hell out of terminators throwing dumb quips and one-liners at each other, then explode into pieces or trow away body parts to reveal hidden weapons they are smuggled from the future. Every time Aggnold would get a flesh wound he would start whining, demanding to go to the bio-flesh regeneration chamber. And the final battle is a rock 'em sock 'em fist fight.
And, of course, "THE EAHVAL TEE ONE DAUZEN" is an actual model of the terminator.

My cousin had the car and the Terminator in black. I had the ones with the blue muscle shirt and the yellow muscle shirt.

Yeah, remember when hard R films had kids toys? How did Batman Returns get in trouble for having Happy Meals, and yet a movie with countless impalings had these at every Toys R Us? What can we say? We thought the sequel would be more for kids after seeing the first one!
Aliens, Rambo and Robocop had kids toys and I remember that
aliens, predator, and terminator were NOT hard R films, haha. They were relatively tame, so most parents didnt mind them watching these films.
LOL! As long as they were using quotes from the movie, I'd have lost it if Arnold said "Chill out, dickwad!"
I remember wanting the Bio Flesh Terminator and I never got it. But I got the Terminator with the tank top and the front of his face and torso came off to expose the exo skeleton.

I seem to have forgotten techno punch terminator, power arm terminator or "beef cake" T1000 in the original T2 movie plot 😜
So funny how they made Terminator 2 toys and other products for little kids who, for the most part, weren't even allowed to see the movie. yes I get they did the same thing with Aliens, Predator, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday The 13th, Robocop, etc. - that was the thing in the 80s and 90s - make a movie that's not appropriate for kids but then market it to kids.

But Terminator 2 is WAY WAY WAY WAY BETTER Than Dark Fate
Heck, i even kinda enjoyed Dark fate.
but nothing beats the Actually Good sequel.

Actually Mr. Terminator 1 & 2 elitist, I was more of a Salvation enjoyer since I use to play the Arcade game of that movie and besides, I bet you would've been more angry with me if I were to get the Mega Bloks sets for the Terminator dispite the sets themselves being from the Genisys movie XD lol.
