Well hello! It's been a while! Kim and I needed a quiet night to ourselves in the woods, so we took off for the Oregon coast and visited a spot we had discovered the first time we ever took the Land Cruiser camping. Hope you're all doing well, and we'll see ya next year for some good adventures!

I get itchy for the woods if I have not been in the woods after a week...5 months I would be crawling the walls!...rain doesnt bother me..Henry David Thoreau said.."there is no bad weather, just different types of weather"...cute dog too!
The only type of weather that I’ll have to say is *truly* bad is high wind…wind is my #1 enemy 😂

Ah true camping spirit going in December. I'm digging the views from that spot. The Oregon Coast is the best option for camping unless you want to be in snow. I took the family to stay in a yurt at Cape Lookout state park in December, we had a fun time. Cheers and happy 2023

@@ScaleofTwo The river is really beautiful and there are a couple of nice waterfalls by the campsites. #1 has tall waterfall right there across the river.

Hey guys, recently found your channel. My wife and I live within an hour of Portland. We are getting setup to go overlanding for the first time this spring. We go to the coast almost every weekend.

We definitely are! We considered heading up to the snow for this trip, but decided it’d be best to give the cruiser an easy route out in case we noticed anything wrong with the new CV axles. We’ll be in the snow soon 🤙🏼
