God bless you frogman I have to tell you you're definitely doing God's work teaching proper gun safety and proper home and personal defense and the level of integrity and morality that you have brother God bless you may the living God keep blessing you and using you to educate responsible We The People
Gotta say, im amazed youre taking it seriously as a tool for training. That really speaks volumes for the quality of the product.
Tug harder, he seems to like it
@gunslinger001yahoo where do I buy one
Love mine. Really helped transitioning to a dot. Averaging 5 thousand rounds a week. My real world shooting has improved immensely.
Of course you can't just buy it outright, there's a $20 monthly sub fee.
Well that sucks
That's only 50 rounds of cheap 9mm... Or thousands of simulated.
I spend over $300 a month in ammo, so that's $280 a month in savings.
@@alexvastardis936exactly
What are you shooting 22s ?
I am almost 50,000 rounds fired into Ace. I love it. Great training tool.
Have had this for 3 days now. about to hit 10k rounds. I lasted 271seconds on the fly by one.. was fun one for sure lol
Working it. 💯
Man !!! This looks like it definitely helps!
That was cool! God Bless you too!
Great video showing how VR can be used for firearms training!! To me though, this is a glorified shooting gallery for a $200 controller plus $19 a month for the software. You can do the same thing in Pavlov VR ($30) without their controller, and do actual weapon manipulations for reloading and charging the weapons in the offline shooting range. You can take it a step further and get a 3d printed stock with magnets, go online, and do some PVP which will put any real-world firearms experience you have to use. The stock is only needed for long guns, the Oculus controllers already lend themselves to working a pistol very well with their shape and design.
200 for the controller? Or for the headset and controller? A 22 plinker would be better than that for prices like that.
@@roo99710it’s 200 for just the controller and 20 bucks sub.
The meta quest you have to get yourself.
Range from 250-500 depending on which quest you get. Only 2 and 3 works
Looks fun, that would be a cool paintball game with that headset.
I agree. I'm not crapping on the system I'm just trying to justify the expense and the return
Looks like fun, Frogman.
Awesome training regiment! Do you have any recoil on this set up, just wondering.... Thanks
There's no real life recoil.
I'm questioning if this actually helps you. Recoil control and trigger press (i run a da/sa) it's cool AF but costly.
Trigger press yes. Your recoil management is your grip. If you don’t have that down yet, you definitely don’t have your trigger work down.
Tighten your grip. That’s it.
Fantastic concept. And apparently a real benefit to dry fire practice. I will NOT, however, support META in any way I can avoid until they become significantly more PRO 2A
The reality is, none of these big tech companies are PRO 2A.
Can you have iron sites on the pistol or no?
Yes
@@frogmantactical awesome thanks
Really cool, too expensive!
I use a laser system that provides me with feedback, and it was a one-time payment
Pretty cool but they gotta make it a lot better for 20 bucks a month
Very cool. I'll have to look into purchasing this
Cool toy....tool. Love it. - greetings from Africa
Does anyone know if there’s a setting to turn the brightness of the dot on the optics up? It’s maddeningly dim and kinda forces you focus on the dot vs the target. Thx
Not sure. Good observation.
Have you tried playing in a seated position? I'm in a wheelchair. . This looks so cool
Absolutely it’ll work.
@frogmantactical awesome. I'm so going to get this. With your code. Lol
Me too I was wondering the same thing I miss going to the range. Is there other firearms, like rifles and shotguns?
Can you create some video about physical training? how do you train? i might admit your perfect physical form, sir
He had another channel dedicated to that. It's called "Train like a seal"
🙏
@SEAL_Fitness
I wonder if theres iron sights
There are iron sights.
Thanks for the video I can see the appeal of it but I don't think it's for me
Change to infant ammo on zombie stage
is there any game for ps4 that dont need vr. i just want a game with a gun that i can shoot targets and train shooting
There’s not a virtual reality game for PS4 but try insurgency sandstorm. It’s a pretty realistic first person shooter. However, the virtual reality is more benefic
@@frogmantactical i dont own vr. what im looking is like a shooting range game that i can shoot with a real life (not real) gun. so that i can train shooting at my home.
@Juos10kustu I currently have Smokeless Range, but their competitor is Point Blank Simulator.
I run it out of my garage and train the wife with it. It was pricey for the bundle pack and Software that I got for it, but I use it almost everyday. I believe it is well worth the money.
On the weekends I'll work on stress shoots running sprints on the treadmill getting off and running steel target drills.
I also have the cool fire recoil enabled system that attaches to your personal handgun. After running it through several drills with Smokeless Range, even with an extended tip for more air to provide longer recoil without having to fill it during rounds, I find that it's a good source to get new shooters to understand recoil, but not what I was expecting with having that ultra realistic experience.
Unfortunately, if you only train with it and have to constantly recharge it, you'll develop training scars. So I would say the recoil system is not worth the money and better to just go to the range and work on the drills you practice (recoil anticipation, fundamentals, etc.).
Neat product, but hell no on the subscription. I am not a renter.
You will own nothing and be happy!!!
But after 1 month you do have the gun, and all areas just some ( small ) restrictions
Sweeeet
Whats Taco Bell Pack? lol
Still no recoil and monthly fee. Nah I wnjoy reloading my own ammo and shooting real weopons at my range. While this is a cool shooting sim i just would rather buy it outright and be done.
Why is there a monthly subscription for this? Do they really add $20 worth of new features and content every month? It’s a shame the $200 plastic gun that goes with this is worthless if the subscription isn’t maintained.
There are a lot of options inside the game. It’s worth it. You have to consider the software. It’s not cheap to create.
Would you sit down for years or even months, create something, and give it away for free? No. So why expect others to do it? Even if they only have 5 states they spent time to build it. 🙏
@@frogmantactical it’s good that there are lots of options featured in the game. The question is about the frequency of updates and if that supports a monthly subscription. If it doesn’t, then the game should be offered for a fixed price. A better alternative to a monthly subscription is for the developers to sell DLC as they release new content.
I prefer the monthly subscription over in-app purchases. It’s just a good way of giving the company longevity without nickel and diming the consumer.
