Hi man, this is how i have my ps5 set up with my pc, but im using a single controller. When you want to record do you have to have the 4k60 app open in the background or just obs?
i record with just obs it does the job unless you want the video in 4k. If i want to record your videos in 4k i use the PlayStation to record it and then transfer over to my pc using a usb.

If you want your audio to go to your headset you're going to need to connect the aux audio as well. If you want to run it wireless you're going to need to use the 2 controller method.

Hey what’s up honestly you can’t go wrong with either of them sizes, if you have the space for the 48 then go with that, but if it’s on a desk it could be too big could cause eye strain, I had a 48 and put that in the bedroom. But this 42 is just a perfect size.

I want the recording to be better than the PS5 bultin, you understand? Would I have to upgrade to a 3090 for example or is it not necessary?

how do you get the output to display through the tv/monitor... ive plugged the 4kpro hdmi directly into my monitor and still no luck. the app works fine. im using a 1080p60hz monitor. i've set my ps5 output to 1080p n my capture utility source is on 1080p59.... but still no luck
I have 2 screens and I use a switcher, the gameplay is appearing on the main screen where obs is but not on the second screen.

I'm curious, why exactly do you need to connect the elgato to a monitor, isn't an input enough? (never touched capture cards so not sure how it works)
so you can see the game through ur tv as there is delay when playing through the capture app
Hey man! I was wondering if you can help me. I did the 2 controller method. I plug in the chat link with one controller and I'm using a wireless headset. You can hear the ps5 audio but you will not be able to hear myself.

So chatlink goes with the PS5 controller you ain't using for audio for your obs software on your PC.

Fortunately yes you need it. Okay yes you need a chat link to capture the audio and voice when your running your headset wireless.
Why do you need two monitors,can't you use your TV instead? TV and PC monitor?
Yeah of course I just said twomonitor cause that's what I had before now I have a 42in TV with a monitor.
Can you explain why u need a second PS5 controller? Will this set-up work when I use my only 1 controller and play with my keyboard+mouse?
I use the second controller connected with chatlink pro to get my audio for my streaming, while I run everything wireless.
Are you not able to get party chat from ps5, I have a wireless headset as well. Why is there no card able to do wireless? It seems that every capture card you need 6 cables, a few controllers, a smurf, and a whip. I mean what the H all, why is this process so ridiculous
The only way of getting it to be wireless is doing the 2 controller setup method I showed here in this video or getting a Goxlr audio mixer. And I agree with it's so dumb and frustrating how the audio is so difficult.
@TheHoot7 yeah I will probably wait then, not sure why running through the pc, the audio wouldn't just go into the pc, and you could hook the USB dongle to the pc for the audio. They know a solution, they just don't want to do it, bc they making money on these cables.

If you want too use your headphones wirelessly you have too use a separate controller and connect your elgato chat link pro to that controller to get audio for obs.

It says my current input timing is not supported for my monitor but when I check the timing it says I can do it 😭 so idk what to do

You can buy I recommend getting another monitor. 1 for your PS5 and the other for the PC which doesn't have to be an expensive one.
Can't you just use a laptop instead of a second monitor?
Yes you can but I'm using it with my PC. but if you have a good laptop with a really good GPU that would work as well.
