    • @CraftandaCuppa
      @CraftandaCuppa  Рік тому +1

      Hi! You will need to try it on yourself or your model until it reaches the top of the head comfortably. Because it's made to measure and you can use any ply of yarn and hook, and it also depends on where you started the hood from on the vest, I can't say exactly how many rows you will need to make for your version of the vest. ❤️

    • @CraftandaCuppa
      @CraftandaCuppa  Рік тому +1

      OK so you would need to stop adding rounds around the whole vest and just add rows from the bottom corner to the other bottom corner, missing out the triangle corner at the very bottom. It would be the exact same process as when you add extra length to a hexi cardi, where you row 1 starts and ends with 2dc and row 2 starts and ends with 1dc and then you just keep repeating row 1 and row 2 until you happy with the fit. An example of adding extra granny stitch rows can be found on my hexi tutorial at 1.52.26. Here is the link ❤️ ua-cam.com/video/EBKYLkmOaHE/v-deo.html

      50 inches in centimetres is 128, 128 divided by 2 is 64. 64 minus 3 is 61. Your number will be 61 centimetres.

      Hi here is the link for the cardi tutorial. Basically adding length to the vest is a very similar process as adding length the cardi, but you will have a corner chsp right at bottom of the vest where you will add 3dc - ch2 - 3dc.

    I’m not sure why my armholes and neck area are so ruffled? Yours are straight and flat.

      I'm not quite sure either. It sounds like it could be to do with tension. I have made 4 so far and each of them I used DK yarn and a 5mm hook and didn't get any ripples. I would probably suggest trying a different hook size. If the ripples seem loose then go up a hook size, if they seem condensed and bunched up trying going down a hook size.
