I found the build for the substrate to be fascinating. I recently put together my first three aquascapes (Iwagumi, Dutch, and Jungle) using my background in houseplants and gardening. I used a mixture of soil, pigeon grit, and cat litter; capped off with our beach sand. All three act the very same way you composed your substrate (our pigeon grit contains the magnesium, iron, and trace elements as well as calcium stones and oyster shells). I suppose I could have also sprinkled osmocote to simulate the sprinkling of root tabs, but I'm expecting the animals in the tank to give back to the plants. Great tutorial! I'll check out the rest of your channel.

I want to say 25 cups of gloss. Happy new year everyone!! And yes a video of all the hardware, co2 specifications, lighting hrs, and dosing schedule would be awesome and appreciated!
Thank you for replying Jurijs!! It's an honor! Hardware like the black tube next to the glass lily pipe intake. Could that be a heater? Maybe talk about why it's important for your iwagumi set up and if it is because of the winter weather there? Maybe also talk about bubbles per second for your beautiful 120p tank and how many hrs in the day. If aeration is used how? And when? How many hrs of light you give this wonderful layout? Just ideas, I hope this helps. Really appreciate your content! And love the scape shirts!
12:06 is that a water sensor clamped on, so you know when to stop filling? Genius idea, if that is indeed what I spotted. Also would love a tip video in the future showing your advice regarding trimming glosso specifically. Hope you can explain further what you once told me about why curved shears are best. Something about how they let you cut the carpet unevenly for better growth at an angle? Anyways I always struggle trimming glosso and would look forward to your advice.
