Finn - That papaya isnt fully ripe yet. Best way to eat it is as an appetizer - cubed and drenched in cane vinegar and sprinkled with salt. The star apple is also best scooped out and mixed with heavy cream and chilled. Condensed milk is optional.
Very nice-looking house! The white color, inside and outside, just makes it stand out if you're looking from afar, just beautiful. Good thing a grown star apple tree is already in your property and to have Sherlyn take care of things when you're away. Great progress on the house and thanks as always for sharing. For your peace of mind while you are away just to make sure that your property is safe from forest fire you may also install automatic water sprinkle on top of the wall surrounding your property connected to a water tank with automatic water pump from below the well aimed on a area which you think where most probably the fire would easily spread widely. We have a Filipino saying its better for a thief to steal from your house rather than a fire that would destroy the whole property & even to take your life.

One of the best comment I have read so far. Specially, the house was contracted on top of a hill and eucalyptus tree is good also to discourage mosquito's specially they are surrounded by bushes and trees.

Love that spectacular view! It's good of you to be cautious of fires especially with that wind. If you have crushed gravel around your house, that would help as well to suppress any flammable plant growth.
I’m sure it’s not a walk in the park building a house especially in the Philippines. But with patience and especially getting involved and quick actions and not let a problem go by will help a lot. Supervision is the key.

Star Apple is deep purple outside and inside white and purple.... The taste is sweet but different than an Apple 🍎 🍏 we have a huge tree near our house and it keeps the heat away....
The fruit is similar to what we call a custard apple ours are normally rough skined and very sweet. Great eating. Coming along nicely the pool etc. Bushyboy Oz.

I SAID BEFORE AUSTRALIA IS ONE OF THE DRIEST CONTINENT, MOST PEOPLE LIVING UP IN THE HILL HEAVILY RELY ON RAIN WATER. EVEN PEOPLE IN THE CITY WITH BACKYARD SPACE DO HAVE WATER TANK FOR THEIR GARDEN, WASHING CARS AND OTHER USES.

You need to consider to put bathroom/toilet for changing area after swimming...toilet if you have a barbeque area and beer area more often you guys need to pea...its easy access not to go to the bathroom or toilet inside the house while wet after swimming...just a suggestion guys!

I’m abit worried with already cracks around your rooftop patio/deck depending on which country you’re from. Especially in a newly built house. 😮. I hope your pool not like that I seen how wet the cement was laid. No hate please just saying what I’m seeing. Shrinkage is a main cause of cracking. As concrete hardens and dries it shrinks. This is due to the evaporation of excess mixing water. The wetter or soupier the concrete mix, the greater the shrinkage will be.

am interested in seeing the installation of the sliding glass doors. usually there is a metal sill pan beneath before the flooring is install.

You need to install an outside shower 4 people to use b4 getting into the swimming pool.
