The guy was in the military reserve as a specialist. Apparently, he had issues, showed to be unstable multiple times, and tried to seek help, but he was ignored.

This guy definitely orchestrated an in depth escape plan

Andrew is very good. There are a few great young reporters that I hope never lose their thoroughness and concise reporting style as their careers progress.

This is just a regular day in America and nothing will change in the near future.

Please keep in mind we are talking about a mentally ill man who was trained as a private soldier in the army reserve … a specialist. Possibly not even infantry, and certainly not to the level of a special forces soldier. Basic training , basic firearms certification. No equipment, and it is very cold in those woods at night this time of year as anybody who actually has been there knows. The US government will run this dog down . There is nowhere to go and they will not stop until they have him. My heart goes out to those poor families . They need justice and it will come .

The ATF cannot do their job. This guy was a certified mentally disturbed man begging for help ,said he would attack the armory and he was hearing voices ! Hey ATF , this is a RED FLAG !!! He should have had all his weapons confiscated !! Hey ATF ..... WTFU !!!!

I grew up with guns in the 50s and 60s. Just about every home had guns and you could see rifles hanging in a truck on a rack. Mass shootings were very rare.

I was thinking he took a boat as well but there looks to be dams up and down that river.

  • @disco07

Probably has a hidey hole in the woods stocked with provisions. But he has to surface to use the bathroom.

  • @moddie6783

I'm wondering if in fact he Offed himself by now?? He's military trained which mean he has survival skills but being so mentally unstable as reported, I just wonder how long he would do that without taking himself out...

  • @bunsene3711

Prayers go out to the familys of the fallen and injured

  • @JC-kb8vb

So basically the guy drove some 26 minutes without being engaged by the police. What a great state!

  • @vintages10

So please tell us that CBSA and the RCMP are stepping up patrols and watching the border and coastlines!

  • @crispybagel4143

this is just sad and what are we going to do about it nothing say prayers and condolences for the families and then forget about this and the next time this happens(probably within the next months well repeat the process but ACTIVELY DO NOTHING TO PREVENT it from happening again.
