Howdy mr.donny, thanks for ringing in today, great tutorial as always, you are a wealth of knowledge for sure!! Just started gathering husky saws a couple year's ago, been still man my whole life but exploring and running some huskys now,up to a dozen or so, and at 70 still in the thick of it, and yes you can teach an old dog new tricks, been watching buckin for a bit now and man does he got some nice saws to run for sure,I have never had a pimped saw or posted saw,up in the remote Sierra we don't see any of that stuff but want to look into that, got 2 390's one is tore down for overhaul and one is a real screamer, will try to get the one back in shape soon, can I get a couple of them pipes from you???? I see buckin running them 70CC saws for bucking pretty big trees but it's asking a lot fir them saws but with the power he's getting out of them hot rodded up is fun to watch, don't get me wrong my 044 is always my all around saw with a 28", but I still use the 660 and 084 for all the bigs, don't like to put the hurt on the 70CC saws because when you are married to her you dont.want to hurt her on purpose!!! Just saying!!! The big saws are heavy but just feel like easier going to me!!!! Kind regaurds!!!Sierra.John
Donny I have quick question for you. I’m running an 87 266se that runs and cuts like it should but bubbles fuel out of the new oem tank vent whenever I move the saw around or fill the tank. It always starts first pull and cuts fine. I been told it’s the fuel cap itself so I’m waiting for the oem one to arrive and I also been told it’s an old husqvarna and thats what the pre epa saws did. Thank you.
I was having a vent issue that I solved by turning the saw upside down and spraying off the vent with brake cleaner and then carb cleaner. It seems to have fixed the issue, at least temporarily.
Great Vid, Mr Donny! I will definitely Order the Vented Fuel Cap. Embarrassingly, I started to remove the Fuel Tank Vent (above the Fuel Tank) and I don't know what I'm doing, obviously. Any ideas on it's removal? I do have a Fix for it But I like your Vented Cap better. Thanx for any help.
This cap, will it work OK on the H372xp clone saws ? Although mine is working fine at the moment....there will probably come a time when it doesn't....
Yes we have a tree service that drops off to us and they bring some big wood. I currently use my 500i with a 28” bar and have the bar buried a lot of the time. Was just thinking of getting something a little bigger, so it would be less taxing on the engine. Or should I just get a bigger bar for the 500?
Hello sir. I have a 500 I that is leaking gas out of the steel tube on the injection pump when the saw sits and its hot in the shop. Is that normal or do I need a new injection pump?
@donnywalker4691 well I put a new injection pump on it. And no more gas leaking. Must have a pin hole in something inside it. But anyway. Happy Friday my friend!!
Yes mom I need a haircut 👍
The shop is looking great, Donny!
Thanks Donnie, finally figured out the p# was a husky p#... on ebay that p# came up with a weird cap thanks again
Great vid . If the oil vent is stuck on my 372 will one of these caps make the the pump oil the bar?
Thanks Donny. You da man. Let's make this 3120 sing like Andrea Bocelli. "Time to Say Goodbye". 😂
DONNY DO YOU Kown where I can get seals for an old Mac 3214 chainsaw same as Eager Beaver McCulloh

Hey Donny, looking at getting either a 661 or 395 for bucking firewood. Would either be better than the other on this application? Thanks
You must have big firewood I run 372 and a 462 for firewood and of course my favorite 357 husky but of course have big ones for large wood

Put a 32 inch light bar on 500i but if you want bigger get 661 over 395 put a bark box or something similar on it
Thank you!
the #'s for the fuel caps lead to some weird cap that is not even close...please more detail
Could you do that kind of vent on a 262xp ??

New to me weird

I’m glad it worked out
Will it leak fuel on vent?
The exhaust pipe reminds me of my muffler I had on my 1980s Suzuki RM 125
Howdy mr.donny, that was pipped or ported in my last comment not pimped!!!
Hey Donny are the kings running out there? I think you call em chinook. They are disappearing in parts of Alaska…naknek River
Same here in Michigan. The runs are a ghost of their former selves😢
@@tylerheard1279 overfishing I would imagine is the cause…& bycatch. Shame. Hope they come back
@@nathankelly7259 I kind of doubt that. The DNR is throttling back on stocking. What do you think the cause of the decline is in AK?
@@tylerheard1279 I think overfishing, bycatch & water temp rising is causing it in Alaska
The pinks are here coho and yes springs which people call kings
Wasn't,t going say anything maybe because I think I need a cut also
Ha ha I shaved the fur off face
