I use Nike Run Club a lot but don’t really like the training plans. I would like to put my goal time for a run in and train for that time. Peloton runs are great especially if running on a treadmill. The outdoor runs are nice but you don’t have the option to use your own playlist with a guided run.
I had Runtastic Pro in 2014 up to 2017 ... I remember the plotted track line on a map and can have different adjustable colors on the map (after I was finished and shared it automatically on Facebook) to see what my speed was on a particular moment ... lower speed was orange ...too slow was red and green was good speed! ... In just one overview, I could see my strengths & weaknesses on my route so that I can improve myself next time.! ... I wonder if Adidas messed that feature up and changed it in one dull colored line. Anyone?
I’ve tried majority of these apps and a lot are sold very short or not even used by this guu on this video. For instance, Runkeeper has full marathon plans and has for 2 years now. It also allows geolocation services that will automatically text your location to phone numbers you add to your list. This too has been a feature for over 2 years. It also gives you the option to track how many miles you put on your shoes, by associating it to your run. Also RunOutdoors app wasn’t even mentioned and that’s by far the best metric drive customizable running/hiking/anything app.
That’s a cool feature, the one that texts your location to phone numbers you put on a list. It helps provide a feeling of safety in potentially dangerous places.
So here’s my problem: I use RunKeeper and I have done for a long time. I like the app, but I have two issues with it. 1. It tells me what it thinks my average pace for a split is, but it isn’t accurate. I did kilometer repeats yesterday, one at all out effort and one at almost walking pace, and runkeeper is trying to tell me I ran those to within a minute per mile of each other. 9 min/mile sprinting, 9:50 slow. There’s no way. And since Runkeeper doesn’t tell me lap times for each of the intervals, just the average pace, I can’t work out my average speed for myself. 2. I use an apple watch and that tracks my heart rate data. BUT, even though the watch is connected to the phone app it doesn’t take my heart rate data if I start a workout on the phone. Fine, I’ll do the workouts on the watch. But then I don’t get audio alerts to my headphones connected to my phone when I finish a split to know to go slow or fast. Am I just being dumb or is there an app that can handle this?
Hi guys, today I will start jogging everyday coz im weak and skinny and I did a very bad thing that will made my muscles weak. I will be back after 100 days too! After 100days I will make sure that im not weak anymore (Dont worry I will be back)
Runtastic was so good before Addidas... social media, really fast app, simple and super nice design. Web version and more and now... now Addidas Running ruined the app.

May I know which App allow me to record date of run, distanced travelled and time taken? If I select running but use a bicycle to cycle, does it able to capture the distance? Need to take a screen-shot.
Adidas running the best. The free version is good enough that you don't need to pay for a subscription. It's also great that you can have rewards for participating to events

Great video. I’m training for my first marathon. I’ve ran a few half marathons before, but never used an app to keep track of anything. Do you have a personal app recommendation? Edit: I’m an iPhone/Apple Watch user, if that helps.
run with hals works really well with the Apple Watch, and 2nd I would go with Map my run. Both of those offer good programs that customize plans for a marathon. Im currently training for my 1st marathon July 28th in San Francisco so im right there with ya.
Good question! I would add this under the “Other Running Apps” part of the video since I don’t have a Polar wearable to try out, but I hope in the future I can!

What frustrates me is Apple workouts Strava and run keeper all show a different distance on the same route 🤷🏻♂️
How much different?
Any apps that have a function that vibrates when you're going below your set time?
Nike Run Club is the best for me. Those guided runs are super informative and motivational.
yea i need the guided run, nike run for me then
Also it doesn’t try to sell you a premium version

Red= fast green= slow
I know it's been a year since you posted this comment but I use the Adidas running app and the track line still shows red, orange and green :)

Which one is most accurate?
I installed 7 of these and their measurements all vary by decent margin
The most important feature that nobody talks about...
i really like runkeeper but I want the social side of strava. strava doesn't have good audio cues, like average pace of the whole run every km

I couldn't survive without Garmin Connect, and its automatic synchronization with Strava, NRC, Adidas, etc...
which is best for sprint?200m or 100m
need instantaneous speed to ajust

Nike Run Club Can do that
All of them
Runkeeper also has a voice idk why you mentioned it for adidas one but not Runkeeper
I like runkeeper but the again never used anything else. I'm tempted by strava
Thank you , saved my lot of time in choosing the app , nice video .
Doing a 10k in May 19th starting running today wish me luck

Adidas Running is the best running app on earth since God created Adam.
Why do you think that? Just wondering
C25K, then use NRC

NRC for me.
