Eh, only real issue I'd say currently with PoT's pounce atm is fact the made them immune to damage from their pounced target. Was better when raptors had to pounce onto the correct spot to avoid being hit by tails or bite/clawed when on shoulders.
No pachy does not need a buff. It can kill anything it wants with zero challenge. You can just perma break/knock down an Omni until it dies. They have zero chance to fight back once you land that first hit. Even Carno gets destroyed by a pachy. You break the Carno face, break his body, then break his legs and finish him off. he can't even fight back or run away. Pachy literally has more stamina than the Omni. I can just chase you until you run out of stamina then I get to have my way with you and you have no defense.
owomniraptor truly is the playable of all time, also galli has always been pinned even when 6.5 came out it's pachy that it getting pinned by a solo raptor is new
Not to be that guy, but someone has to say it. Omniraptor wouldn't be this broken right now if a vocal minority of Omni mains would just shut tf up and get better at the game instead of whining about every minor issue they run into when playing with it
That's what happens when they ban almost everyone from their discord. They are only left with The Isle dickriders who boot lick the devs and make the game worse. Honestly not even just making things easier for raptors, but Isle in general love to make it easier for practically every carnivore despite their claims of "realism" which would mean most of the time, hunts would actually fail for carnivores in real life. Yet Isle wants to stroke off the carni diehards every time they complain and cry that an herbi is too powerful or something.

So glad i quit and moved to Path of Titans instead. I also think quadrupedal playables like diablo and deino should be much more resistant to this horrible pin mechanic than bipeds like carno or cerato. Raptors are Dondi’s fetish animal in this game and that much is clear, I can only imagine rex will be just as bad if not worse with busted mechanics
No offense, but calling the game “a slide show” when your frames are literally averaging 14 fps is a personal problem. No hate but most people with a decent pc average 70-80 fps.
Why I prefer Beasts of Bermuda over The Isle: 1. Talent tree 2. These fricking shenanigans you described... Honestly, The Isle is the only game where I like community better than the game itself.
The game even before this had so many broken issues why are u just realizing now ? Fact is it is the entire team and they have not the slightest idea of what theyre doing
Ok. So my point of view.. First of all, I do not care that much what is happening on HT builds, they truly are just an alpha testing grounds for us. They are expected to be wild, glitchy, overtuned and atrocious. That is nothing new and definitely not something this community is not used to. I think. Why on Earth would that lead to the same talks about devs/dev/Ceo guy/whatever wanting this game together with the community to suffer, hate the game and kill the game etc.. is beyond me but I guess it is just a rule of thumb at this point. Needless to say, feedback was made, devs themselves even stated that the current iteration of grapple is not very functional, it is a freaking horde test after all. Which goes in line with active updating of the branch during the testing phase. Players really do expect that HT is just a sneak peek for them and right after they play a few hours in it, live build is going to be updated? Why even? Why all of this again? :D Mutations are also broken. Lot of stuff is. It is in development. People are now creating conspirations on how the QA team wants them dead or something fr. Just chill and enjoy the shenanigans, there will be more to come.
You got a point, but it's good the community is voicing their critiques anyway even if it comes off as jumping the gun a bit. The devs might not admit it but I reckon they put more value in the discussion videos for balancing tweaks than they do their own qa team. The QA team is just a first-pass in terms of balancing decisions.
The only people left in The Isle discord who haven't been permanently banned are the care bears. These are the players who in legacy would sit around twins and chat in global all day long. They would freak out if anyone hunted them and they would cry to the devs about it. These same players are now sitting around the northeast pond in Evrima doing the same thing. A giant mixpack of care bears who sit around chatting in global. If you dare to hunt any of them, they will all attack and kill you. All 15 of them. These are the players that the devs are taking their balance decisions from. The players with zero combat skills who only want to sit around, never be hunted by anyone and just chat in global all day. This is why the game balance is so bad.
Legacy care bears? In evrima? They play legacy and shittalk about evrima, lol. They sit in NE? Where? This place is not hotspot anymore, was when there was a spawn zone and it was slaughter house, not a chat club. Played there back then and this is absolute nonsense statement. Giant mixpack chatting in global.. What global? Where? :D If you dare to hunt a herd or a group of players, yes, they wont just stand there starring at you. :D These are the players devs take their balance decision from? How do you even know? How can you support this claim?

isnt it just that dondi is a terrible game developer and just does what he wants without a care for the game and community? thats the feeling im getting over the years.
Okay, so pounce to pin is really easy, but I do agree with pinning Deinos easily as IRL it's an issue alligators and crocodiles face from big to medium cats (only comparison I can make to raptor in modern times is cats honestly... well, other than birds, but I don't think a bird is a fair comparison) and it gives deinos something to fear beyond the big slow stego or the other deinos.
jaguars don't neutralize caimans through pinning alone, they bite the back of its neck to paralyze them. And to get through that armour they need strong biteforce. It doesn't make sense to me that omniraptors would be able to overpower a deino, even in a group. unless of course the deinosuchus was pretty young. If anything, cerato should be the kind of dinosaur to have a mutation where it allows it to use its strong biteforce to paralyze a deino. (And not a full grown one, at that.)
Guys... its called a WIP, its no where near the final product, probably given to us at max to test the crap out of it, which will mean that it will get better! Quite possibly testing it now for anticipation for Allo? Also, its in the hoard test for christ sakes, its not meant to work properly, stop complaining and just play, just a thought
Don't shill the game thats been in development hell for over 9 years. The point of a test is to test it quickly with a vast amount of people, its the QA's job to get an ability or update to a playable or "Fair" enough state for the players to then test. There is literally no excuse to have this shit happen, you can't even gain data from something like this, the point of a test? Having characters get basically one shot or be unable to move or fight is basically testing a rock to see if it moves while you've trapped it in a vice. Just stop.
I agree with you, to an extent. QA team should still iron it out themselves more before putting it out to the public. What's the point of them otherwise?

If the prey is similar in size to a para for example then it could possibly pin it down. Anyways cool video, as usual I'm looking forward to more of your posts and videos. keep it up!
Thank you for your kind words. It’s stated that allos grapple is similar programming wise to the omni pin. So they’re doing it now so it’s easier to work on allos and probably rexs to. So I guess long term it’s better.
@@Orni-Mega-Lonyx All then I ain't gonna complain. Good thing they are working on it now since t rex is coming out sooner than we thought. And allo will be the final product for it, I can hardly wait for it, its gonna be awesome
2:42 what do you mean by that 🤔
Very nice Gallimimus skin.
banana skin
what are your specs?
I couldn’t tell you tbh. All I remember is I have an I7
3:01 uh probably a bug, or not in yet idk??
Heck yeah another orni video
This game has become… somthing else
Gali is light than Omni it has always been pined by it
It used to be heavier.
@@Orni-Mega-Lonyx no, since 6.5 when it was added it was 410kg and Omni is 450kg
@@Orni-Mega-Lonyxit always got pinned wdym
its been released now because allo is the next dino
when you look at the ground you get more fps
How tf do people enjoy the Isle?😂 literally 15 fps on PC master race technology…
I mean I get 50 fps on my toaster of a pc so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@No_name8374 how is that acceptable gaming in 2024? 😂 you as the customer deserves better from The Isle…
its actually surprisingly addictive
my toxic relationship with the isle has lasted many years despite its failures
@@Darth_Marcus I mean it kinda is? The isle is at least somewhat optimized and the fact it isn’t 100+ gbs worth of storage is MORE than expectable for gaming in 2024 xd
Edit: I’m not defending the isle but I’m still giving them props we’re it’s due 🤷♀️
i dont get how you can play at 15 fps. time for some pc upgrades
I see those 15 fps :)
why my fps is so F'ed or just me . i play 5-12 fps
in the hordtest
5fps?? That’s unplayable
Utahs have never been more threatening, and diablos have the best movement in the game. Gateway will become a warzone the likes of which have not been seen since V4 when Camara got attacks.
shout out to all of my pre-gigapocalypse vets. You as well as I do that this game is dead in the water and still follow it just for the "lolcowness" of it all.
Never call me an American again
I sowy
wasnt pachy ment to be the raptor counter? dude pachies have been nothing but certain death for omni lol. 1 hit, broken leg, and then your done for. if u dont see the pachy firtst your insta dead. ive seen a few pachies anihilate whole packs of omnis.
Hello how are you orni ???
After how my galli got one tapped,NOT well
XD
If they push it to live branch we should just stop playing with omnis or play only omnis. Deny those brain dead players all the fun. Let them cook each other.
I am not american😢
Sorry😞
So glad i quit and moved to Path of Titans instead. I also think quadrupedal playables like diablo and deino should be much more resistant to this horrible pin mechanic than bipeds like carno or cerato. Raptors are Dondi’s fetish animal in this game and that much is clear, I can only imagine rex will be just as bad if not worse with busted mechanics
No offense, but calling the game “a slide show” when your frames are literally averaging 14 fps is a personal problem. No hate but most people with a decent pc average 70-80 fps.
I called it a slide show because it looked like
One in that moment. It never usually
Performs like
That when I play.
Why I prefer Beasts of Bermuda over The Isle:
1. Talent tree
2. These fricking shenanigans you described...
Honestly, The Isle is the only game where I like community better than the game itself.
Yo
Dumb as hell Balances, only the Isle can pull this crap off
The only people left in The Isle discord who haven't been permanently banned are the care bears.
@@Bleghspread Is coastal river the hotspot now in hordetest?
@@bumblingfool2211 From what I have seen so far, good chunk of players rotates between south, west rail and highlands. Coastal sanctuary is like in between of these locations.
I will tell you now, the devs are not devs. They are first class bullshit sellsmen
Yeah I seen a 8 ton dieno get pinned by 3 omnis lol
fps is so dookie augh
Im not american
isnt it just that dondi is a terrible game developer and just does what he wants without a care for the game and community? thats the feeling im getting over the years.
Have you tried recording with Medal? I don't know if it would help, but it might.
I have not. I may try
