      Really? How do you know this? I have long wondered why he did it. Was he in a trance? Also, why wait until that day/night? Maybe he was using when he killed them. Do you know?
      His girlfriend said he would never do such a thing. Was she a user too. Sorry to bombard you but I've never heard a motive before.

    • @jaybonilla701
      @jaybonilla701 5 років тому +231

      Elisa Mastromarino Sunday Times wrote an entire article about the information we know about him! Apparently, before the murder, his family threatened to cut off his allowance if he continued using drugs (if I recall correctly). On Wikipedia, it states that his drug dealer mentioned he was a consistent customer and there was apparently video footage backing this up. I’m not too sure why he chose that date specifically. I’m not too sure if the girl was a user as well. Assuming this is all completely true, he wanted to receive all the money in order to fill his drug addiction. However, there are allegations stating he was mentally ill. Wether this is true or not, there’s a chance he was and this could’ve also been another factor into his murder/motives.

My take on this murder is that he did it for the inheritance, but stuffed up royally. May he rot in jail, pity the death penalty is abolished. Spoilt little brat, and greedy to boot.

      I realise how frustrating it would be to have idiots pranking emergency services, but you’re right, they should have played it more safe than sorry! I live in Australia and this comment reminded me of a young woman that had gotten in a bit of trouble with a couple of drug dealers but she managed to escape and call 000 for help. The 000 operator didn’t believe her and was disgustingly condescending. If you listen to the recording, the victim is begging for help and even says ‘I am hiding in a bush, if I speak any louder, they will hear me!’ You can just hear the frustration in her voice! Anyway, the poor woman ended up getting murdered and the 000 operator got in sooooo much trouble when it all came out

      maybe but he was just lightly tapping him with a fake axe anyway so he would’ve shown which side he hit him with I guess and it would’ve worked more in his favour considering it was a false re-enactment if none of the attackers DNA could have gotten anywhere it was just a strike so he’d drop the knife, but that’s just how I interpreted it 😅

The whole call sounds like he’s getting annoyed with the responder because she can’t find the location and is asking all these questions, but not taking the situation seriously. I’d probably give that exasperated giggle as well if my entire family was murdered and the responder was arguing with me about my location and not sending an ambulance after asking several times, like are you for real right now?

    This will probably get lost, but i found a new case that just happened not even a week ago. Two saudi girls (sisters) who lived in New York were found murdered at the Hudson River. One was 16 and the other was 22. The 16 year old went missing, and the abductor called the 22 year old telling her that if she wanted to see her sister again, she should meet him at a specific address. She went and met him and ended up getting abducted too. The two girls were found dead at the river with their ankles tied to each other with very strong tape. The US police are trying to close the case as soon as possible and they don’t want to keep looking for who committed the crime.

      @@andreaandrea2000 bella explained in the video that she got retrograde amnesia and couldn't remember anything about the night
      did you not watch the video haha
      edit 10 months later: I just saw my reply for the first time after making it, and just wanna say sorry for the rude tone.. that was just plain unnecessary

      Maybe he got scared at that point and had realized what he just did or thought she would die eventually so leaving her as is makes it more believable when he phones emergency services

      He was the only one that "Survived" so..

      At the beginning when they mentioned that he was the only survivor, I thought "what a plot twist it would be if he was the real killer"

      Sozyar Jaafer yeah of course. I started to think it was tru, but the part when he called the dispatch, and didn’t use the emergency stuff on the refrigerator is when i knew he made the story up

    I'm from SA and have actually been to De Zalze many times because my friend lived there. There are only two entrances and exits with 24/7 security. If you're entering as a guest, the security calls the house you're going to to ask for permission to let you in. It's virtually impossible to break in to the estate because of how secure the estate is. There is no way that an intruder got into the house and brutally murdered the family. It was Henri, it's honestly impossible to break in to the estate. This case was so shocking to the entire estate because of the impossibility of it being an intruder. The people who live in the estate are very wealthy and they pay for the privacy and security of the homes there. I could never not believe that it was Henri. I agree that the call is absolutely infuriating, the woman is completely dense, and the state of all police services are so awful in this country. By the way your videos are amazing and I'm really glad I found your channel! All the cases I've seen you cover have been really interesting, you've definitely got a knack for this 💛

      I only need the police for certifying documents. Nothing else. I've been asked for a bribe for that service. SAPS are almost useless
