Love this idea. I have a fork, knife and spoon set that was my husbands when he was little. It is looks just like an adult set of silverware but only on a smaller scale. I have been wanting to give it to my granddaughter so this idea came at the perfect time as I can make one of these with children themed fabric and maybe make it a little smaller. Thank you for the idea! Debbie.
Wasn't sure what you were making but if I wanted to know I'd just fast forward but your presentation and teaching was lovely to watch thank you for taking the time lovely work.
Very cute project. This will definitely go on my to-do list. Thank you for a straightforward and easy-to-follow tutorial. I also appreciate that you didn't include any background music.
What a cute project! So easy, too! I love your delivery. I love the short, quick video, too. Very nice!!😊😊 I noticed someone mentioned showing an example of the finished project at the beginning of the video, and I usually like that also. However, in your video you present us with such bright appealing pieces of fabric arranged neatly and in order on your table, that I am immediately intrigued and filled with curiosity about what you are about to show me. The brevity of the video also helps. Since I know it will be a short video, I know I can wait until the end to see the finished product. Very nicely done.
I have not had any issues, pivoting at the corners and then trimming. Your way I would probably backstitch because I don’t see those two crossing stitches, being strong enough to keep the fabric together. Appreciate the absence of obnoxious music that most of these people think they have to put in the background problem is they don’t adjust the volume
A lovely project especially coming up to Christmas. I really love your. Tutorials and your lovely calm delivery is so relaxing. Lots of love from London UK xxx
That's a good idea Heidi 😊. We also have a video for a needle holder which is also a great scrap busting project. Here is the link www.alandacraft.com/2015/10/31/scrap-buster-needle-holder-tutorial-sewing-project/
Hi. ❤Thank you very much for your nice videos. I learned them except for their bindings. ❤ Is it possible for you to explain it too.❤ Thank you once more.❤
I have a couple of binding tutorials. Here is a link to one of them www.alandacraft.com/2022/05/01/bind-placemat-table-runner/. The way to do it is the same for a table runner or a quilt.
I subscribed because you focus on the project WITHOUT a lot of extra conversation. Thanks for being so quick
Mystery sewing - what a great video, and such a fun use of scraps!

Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Beginner here: thank you for sharing this quick project! Question: what is the purpose or benefit of “sewing off the edge”? TIA!
The threads cross over and it just makes the seam more secure in the corners, as we clip close to the seam line to remove bulk from the corners.
Cute but what does your guess do with the pouch once they remove the cutlery from it? Just a thought why not make it wider as part of a placemat.
Hi just found your channel and love your beautiful project. Thank you for sharing, I also subbed
Thank you 😊
I often use a spoon handle for turning
That's a great idea Helen 😊. I'll remember that next time I can't find my apple corer.
What happens when they need washing??? OK to throw them in washer and dryer??
If you are concerned with your fabric shrinking then you can pre-wash and dry the fabric before sewing it.

I skip to the end to see how it is going to look first, ad if I like I watch how it is done.
I have to be honest, I do the same thing 😊
Thank you for not wasting a lot of time with to many instructions! You move on and get to the point.
Both sides lol
I wish you would have let your audience what you’re making at the beginning of the video.
