I’ve never seen your channel before, but this was absolutely lovely. I can’t imagine doing anything better with a mother than traveling to a beautiful village with some history and crafting together besides.
It gladdens the heart to know we still do have lovely gentle traditional English people going about their business crafting and enjoying the history of our lovely country. This has been truly heartwarming in times that are becoming increasingly challenging 🇬🇧🥰
Hello Helen, Just discovered your channel this morning and I love it. I’m a man of 58 years old and not crafty. Why then did I subscribe? Only because I love simplicity, humility, passion, calmness and people who love beautiful things. No screaming needed, no running around like chickens without heads, just people creating videos because they enjoy it. So you got me onboard for the cruise. Greetings from Montreal, Quebec.
Just found your channel and how lovely it is. I am truly tired of this crowded, busy world,so to watch you and your Mum enjoying time and crafting together is a real tonic ❤
I stumbled upon your channel just last week, and am so enjoying all your adventures. Your crafting inspires me. I also enjoy crafting and creating. You have crafted many wondrous items. Love all your knitted little creatures. Your bears, turtles, and the clothing for them. I also find your conversation very informative. Thank you for sharing your life.
UA-cam just thought I might like your channel... oh, It’s perfection! And so here I am at 3.30 am, not sleeping, watching wonderful, gentle, delightful vids. Thank you so much, you have another subscriber. 💚☘️🇮🇪
I was very touched by the wonderful relationship between you and your mum. I love crafting, and I always have something on the go, be it knitting, embroidery etc. I live in a rural setting where my close neighbours are friendly and kind. I am looking forward to following your channel 😊
Thank you, Cheryl - it was so special to have this quality time with my mum. It's lovely to know that you love to craft, too, and that you have lovely neighbours. I hope that you'll enjoy catching up with me in my podcasts! x
Hello ladies I just wanted to say I’m so glad I drop by. I never saw the a program before I enjoyed it immensely I’m learning so much about English history. My descendants come from England and Ireland and Scotland and I’m just so happy to be able to to learn so much about England and the ladies you’re doing a great job and I love your hat. I wish I wish I wish I could be there to go down that path with you And thank you so much and I hope to drop by again if I can find it I’m 90 years old myself, and still sewing and knitting in tiling and crocheting and all those things that your mom did two of them I never heard of so stay well. God bless.
Thank you so much Marion! It's lovely to hear a bit about you and it's brilliant that you are still crafting! I hope you manage to find me again - you will be very welcome indeed. xx
I only just discovered your channel today, and wish I had come across you sooner. What a lovely gentle podcast, I so enjoyed spending some time with you and your mother.
Thank you for joining me, Anne, and for taking the time to leave a comment. I'm very happy to know that you enjoyed this podcast and hopefully there'll be lots more for you to enjoy!
I just found your channel today. I was really moved by the harmony that shone through. I love how you showed us your walk. It makes me realise that I miss Great Britain. (And crafting with my mom who would be 108 today) Thank you so much❤
Helen, I just found your channel! What a lovely video! And the village of Acomb is beautiful, what a peaceful place. The cottage looks so lovely, clean and comfortable. Thank you for sharing your special holiday with your Mum. ❤️
Hello Helen (again) as I wander through your lovely videos. I just had to comment on how wonderful it was to see you crafting with your mum and how great it is that she keeps her mind and hands busy with projects. My mum always had knitting on the go and she was famous for finding wool shops wherever she went, sometimes to the surprise of people who lived in the area and didn’t know one existed! I finally asked her to teach me to knit when I was expecting my third baby. There is such a bond created when you craft with a mum or a grandma. My mum died twenty years ago and I still miss those crafty moments and our chats. Had she survived she would have celebrated her 100th birthday this month. I still pick up the knitting needles now and again, usually for clothes/ blankets for our grandaughters’s dolls. I have more recently learned to crochet (just granny squares at the moment) but my main passion is for cross stitching reproduction schoolgirl samplers of the 1800s; I just love all the social history that goes with them. Happy crafting to you and your mum, Helen. (Apologies for the ramble! 😬). God bless.
Hi Jean, I'm so glad that you enjoyed this episode that brought back happy memories of crafting with your mum. They are definitely moments to treasure. I really love the old cross stitch samplers! How lovely to spend time reproducing them. Cross stitching is a craft that I haven't yet tried... x
How wonderful for both you and your lovely mum to be together and spend this special time together and in such a beautiful part of the uk Northumberland. I loved your mums sewing needle case Helen and what an assortment of needles, and I totally agree Helen with your last comment, crafting in good company definitely does not get any better❤❤ special bond between mother and daughter. Xxxxx
Hello Helen, this is the first vlog of yours I have watched and I have been captivated. Craft, history, cake, walking, everything I love, thank you, I have subscribed and am going to go back and “catch up” whilst waiting for the tatting lesson.
Hi Joy, and thank you so much for joining me and leaving such a lovely comment! I hope you enjoy catching up with some of my other podcasts (including the tatting one!) Xx
What an absolutely lovely episode. 💕I truly appreciate the care you take to create a quiet lovely place to learn about the history and traditions of your country. It seems the perfect get away. Your mum is amazing, too. You are so very fortunate to have her. You play so beautifully and the music you chose is the perfect accompaniment while I knit away on my socks. Take care Helen and thanks again. 🤗 P.S. I have an uncanny ability to get lost myself!
Thank you, Lisa. I felt so fortunate to have that lovely break spending quality time with my mum. I'm so glad you enjoyed the music, too - I have practised so much more since I acquired my new piano as it is a joy to play! x
What lovely podcast, I don’t why I haven’t discovered you before! Thankyou so much for taking us around beautiful Northumberland, one of my favourite counties, and for your choice of music. I was about to ask if it was you playing the piano when it came up on screen, just lovely. Thankyou Helen and Mum. Xx
So lovely to meet your mum and to see the town of Hexham. Your mum has lived through the most tumultuous times of the last century as a young child and, as she mentioned, made a lasting impact on her. You’re both so wise to take getaways together where you have quality time together enjoying things in common. I had the good fortune to have a close bond with my mom where we shared our love of crafts, too. We also went away together several times and they are some of the times I cherish the most. Thanks so much for your podcast. I look forward to each one❤
Thank you, Esther. I really do value and appreciate these quality times that I spend with my mom - enjoying not only our crafting but each other's company. xx
Thank you so much for taking me along on your little trip with you and your mother. I’m a knitter, cross stitcher, basketmaker and rug hooker! Every time I go anywhere I bring along my “fun bag” that always includes knitting and/or cross stitch, a Dell Variety Puzzles book and usually paper and pad for making me To Do lists which for some reason I enjoy making but generally not accomplishing the goals accomplishing the goals very quickly! Looking forward to the tatting lessons! That is nearly a lost art. I have collected shuttles but have never tatted.
Thank you, Melissa, I'm glad you enjoyed coming along. I love the idea of your "fun" bag - it sounds like an excellent variety of things to keep you occupied! I hope you enjoy watching the tatting - I definitely found it quite a challenge! x
What a special holiday with your mum to this lovely area, what a wealth of knowledge your mum is with her crafting skills and loved her needle case. thanks x
Just discovered your channel today and was so excited to find you are located in Northumberland. I spent my childhood in a little village called Ponteland and last time I visited my Mum before she passed away, we went “antiquing” in Hexham. I moved to the U.S. when I was 20 and the older I get I have this longing to spend more time back home. Your podcast today was such a treat for me. Thank you.
Thank you - and how lovely that you have a connection with Northumberland! Hexham still has some lovely antique shops. I'm delighted that I could help you to revisit the area through my podcast today! xx
I stumbled across your channel today and I thoroughly enjoyed your video. The walk-a-bout of the village, the history telling.....all so tastefully done. And then to have your Mom there with you sharing these experiences, and crafting together, your a lucky woman. Its so lovely to see so many different crafts being done. Cheers from across the pond in Newfoundland, Canada.
Helen, thank you so much for the delightful video. What a talented lady you Mum is. I so enjoyed being on your walk and the outing to Hexham. Take care and a big thankyou.
Fantastic video - enjoyed the sightseeing and hearing the history. So special to hear your mother’s personal story and connection to the area. I’m new to your channel through this video and have subscribed. I look forward to seeing more. Best wishes to you.
How delightful to discover your channel today! (I consider it a blessing). I learned so much from your tour of Northumberland. Your commentary, Helen, is so unobtrusive and gentle. Thank you. I feel as though I've met you both. My dear mum is right about the age of your mother, though no longer so active and not into craft. I like knitting and crochet and make cushions, blankets etc . (I have a daughter more skilled than I, who has started to help me read a pattern: I've struggled with that). Greetings from Australia, where we are moving into spring while you greet the lovely autumn season.💐🌷🍁🌹
Thank you for joining me today and for your lovely comment! It's lovely to know a little about you, too - I love it that we can make these connections across the miles! x
This is the first time I watched one of your videos. I was really taken along by everything about it: it’s gentleness and the details of the holiday and walks. I especially loved the companionship you have with your mum and that you craft together. I wish I could have shared that with mine. You are very lucky to still have her and that your interests are aligned. It made me smile that even at your age she still wanted to teach you!!. I loved the range of crafts she took. It was wonderful to share in your holiday jaunts and 8 shall subscribe so I don’t miss any future videos. Thank you.
Thank you Anne, for joining me, and for taking the time to leave a lovely comment! It was special time with my mum and I feel very fortunate that we have such a good bond and lots in common. See you next time! x
Hello Helen, I just found your lovely channel and I’m going to subscribe. I’m Irish living in NY for the past 34 years and I’ve really enjoyed going along with you on your travels with your Mam. It’s so restful watching you both doing your crafting together. Bless you both.
Loved this episode Helen and your Mum. So great to see the stay scenery. Beautiful places I will never see.. so thank you so much for this. The village is so beautiful and Hexham is unreal.
What wonderful memories you are making with your mum. Interesting stories too. My grandmother tatted but I never took an interest. I do have a few things she made though. It was interesting to see the projects your mum brought. I have thought about hardanger and sashiko, but not tried either. The cottage looked so inviting, especially the little nook with all the windows. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed seeing and hearing about the history of that area. Your music selection was spot on🤗😊. Bye.
Thank you, Karen. There are so many crafts that we could try and just not enough time to have a go at everything! Sometimes we can just get enjoyment from seeing what others are doing and it's okay that we just try the crafts that we are drawn to. It was lovely to be able to share this special trip with you! xx
Hi Helen, I love your videos. They are so interesting but also lovely and calm. Your piano music is absolutely beautiful! Lots of greetings from Germany.
Hi Helen. Thank-you for sharing some more of your county. I was lovely to meet your mum and see all her projects. She's a very talented lady. Sashiko stitching is on my list. It's lovely to share special moments with your mum. My mum is a similar age and she still loves to knit. Recently she's dropped down the embroidery rabbit hole with me. By the way... what an awesome needle case, definitely something for every eventuality. Looking forwards to next weeks video already. Have a lovely week. Take care. Xx
Thank you, Angela - and lovely to hear that your mum also enjoys crafting! I'm constantly amazed at the beautiful things that my mum produces! See you next time xx
Hi Helen, what a wonderful getaway with your mom! I have to say she has good genes to see cross stitch & hardanger without a magnifying glass like me lol What happy memories for you both ❤
Just came across you channel. It's true, nothing much better than sitting around crafting together! I thought i was blessed when kate from " the last homely house" came to me from england but now you too! Splendid. Your mom was pretty in that red dress.
Thank you, Barbara! I am very honoured that you compare me with the wonderful Kate of the Last Homely House! I hope you'll enjoy catching up with more of my podcasts.
Hello from Northern Ireland Helen and Mum! I just came across your video and feel it is just made for me. I'm interested in many needlecrafts, live with my large Springer spaniel Barney in a very modest but cosy little cottage on the edge of a very quiet town. I am recovering from flu so resting in bed and found your video so uplifting. The cottage and garden you stayed in was charming and you did a lot during your holiday. Like your Mum I like to do a little of this and a bit of that... my dear Mum used to say a change is as good as a rest. I am so happy to subscribe and look forward to more from your channel. ❤. God bless you both, vera
Thank you for joining me, Vera and thank you for leaving such a lovely comment and telling me a little about you! I love the way we can make these connections and I hope that you will continue to enjoy my podcasts. x
THANKS FOR A GREAT COSY VIDEO. ITS MY FIRST VISIT TO YOUR CHANNEL. LOVE NORHUMBERLAND. IAM FROM DURHAM CITY ORIGIONALLY, WENT TO SCHOOL THERE AND WE HAD MANY SPUR OF THE MOMENT CAMPING AND TOURING AROUND. THANKS FOR LOVELY MEMORIES.WILL ALWAYS BELONG TO THE NORTHEAST AND AM SERIOUSY THINKING OF RETURNING. IAM CURRENTLY IN EAST CAMBRIDGESHIRE, 20 MINUTE DRIVE FROM CAMBRIDGE CITY.
Thank you! I'm very glad that you enjoyed my little visit to Northumberland - and it's interesting to know that you are from Durham! It would be really lovely for you to make a return visit to the beautiful north east!
Thanks, Helen, for sharing your trip with your mom. You both look like you enjoyed the trip! My grandma tatted and as a child I would suck on her doilies, she used sugar water to stiffen the ruffles. She would scold me for doing so. 😊I do enjoy your videos!
Thank you, Linda. I chuckled at the thought if you sucking on you Grandma's tatted doilies! We really had a lovely trip and I'm happy that I could share it with you! xx
What a lovely holiday with your dear Mum! That would be a perfect way to spend a few days in the lovely cottage but most of all sitting outside in the sun and crafting! Just perfect! Glad you managed to see a bit of the lovely area which looked so interesting too. Thank you for sharing such a precious time with your Mum x
I was inspired by another channel that for Christmas to give something that I’ve found or made. Your mum’s needle case is a great idea. I just know who would love it and I can give it a personal touch. Love the music you chose also. Best wishes for you and your mum for making this world a better place.
Thank you, Maureen - it was our pleasure to share our week away with you. I'm glad you enjoyed the music, too! I think a needle case would make a lovely gift, and easy to personalise.
I’m really enjoying your back videos. I’ve been trying to remember which crafter it was who stayed at the same stone cottage with friends on a crafting retreat, but it escapes me. What a peaceful place it is. You certainly get utadabout to some quaint places. I can tat, but prefer needle tatting, though I do prefer to crochet. Hardanger is a favourite too. Not done any Sashiko. How lovely to spend some quality time with your mom. Tfs Helen.😊
Helen, that was lovely. What a wonderful trip and a beautiful cottage to stay in. Your mum is amazing. You are very lucky to have a mum who shares your love of crafting and can also teach you new skills. I've heard of tatting but I'm not sure what it is. I'm not going to google it I'm going to wait until next time when you show me. Xxx
Thank you, Anita. I certainly feel very fortunate to be able to take a trip with a lovely crafty companion! I'm looking forward to showing you the fascinating craft of tatting! xx
It was fun to see the city of Bellingham, because I live in Bellingham, Washington USA. I wish I could have been there with you and learn more crafts with a big cup of tea.
Good morning Helen 🙂 Wat a beautiful and cosy vlog! So nice to see you and your mother crafting together in such a lovely cottage ❤️ And how wonderful to hear your mum’s memories. Thank you for sharing with us. Have a lovely day 🌹
Enjoyed that so much ,Helen!!!! A great history lesson ,,,and a great walk with views,,,, Lovely to meet ur talented mum,,,,!!!wow,,,,she does amazing work,,,!!! Look forward to more,,,, Elaine 💗🏡🏡
What a lovely vlog. It was nice meeting your Mom and hearing her memories, what a crafter she is also. Lovely trip and cottage. Enjoy learning tatting. Lisa
Dear Helen! What an absolute joy it has been to watch this little video! Thank you so much! It’s such a precious time that you can go on a vacation with your mum and craft together! I wish I could do that too! But my mum is too far away and she’s not really a crafter, sadly. But you have reminded me yet again of my dear granny who taught me to knit and with whom I have the fondest memories of my childhood. It brings tears to my eyes thinking that she’s gone and also that my children never met her and also that they don’t have a chance to grow up next to a loving grandma…. Oh well…. I loved all the info on the places you’ve visited and the chatterbox and the paintings and the sweet little cottage and those scones and tea made me wanna pour myself a cuppa. I was hoping you’d be showing your Giorgio but I guess we’ll see him next time. Looking forward to the next visit with you. Take care, Marina
Hi Marina, I'm so glad that I could take you away on this lovely little holiday with my mum and I do feel so fortunate to have such a lovely crafty companion! Giorgio is now finished (but my cowl is not yet finished) and I'll share these things properly in a couple of weeks' time (but you might see Giorgio pop up on Instagram!) See you soon ❤
Helen, that was just joyful. Lovely to meet your mum, to hear her voice, the stories of her evacuation experience. How wonderful you got to spend the time away together, just the two of you. Endless tea and treats - yes please, count me in 🤩. I too don’t drive, you both did well with the local buses, almost like a bus tour seeing all the beautiful countryside. The place you stayed was gorgeous, so well modernized, yet still charming. Only one loo - I’d have the carpet worn down running up and down stairs all day 🤣. Wasn’t that a lovely basket of goodies the host left you? Times like these, your wee trip together, are so precious. Memories to last lifetimes. Thank you for taking us along. Your mum was a good sport, smiling for us. Do tell her that we love her too 🥰🤗
Thank you, Isabel, it was altogether a very lovely trip and I feel very fortunate that I was able to spend this quality time with my mum and also to be able to share it with you! xx
Oh what a lovely video. I’ve only just come across you but I will definitely be watching more. Loved the details of your holiday and how lovely you get to spend special times with your mum. Would have liked to have seen a little gallery of your makes at the end. Keep doing what you’re doing it’s fabulous ❤
Thank you, Stella - I'm so glad you enjoyed watching! It was a great joy to spend that time with my mum. I wish I'd thought of doing a little round-up of our holiday makes at the end - that would have been a good idea! x
Hi Helen. Thank you so much for sharing your little trip away with your mum. I loved hearing your mum talk about her experience of being an evacuee. Also loved seeing her hands crafting. How lovely that you can craft together and continue learning new things. I often imagine myself an older lady with plenty of hobbies to keep me busy and occupied 😊
Hello from Missouri, USA! I just discovered your channel today & subscribed right away. What a lovely video! I love the historical buildings. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your videos about history and crafting. My Grandma used to love tatting.
Hi Brenda and thank you for joining me! It’s great to know that you enjoyed some history as well as a bit of crafting and I hope you enjoy catching up with some of my other videos!
I have a tatting shuttle exactly like that one. I like it because it is small. I normally use the more modern ones with the little hook on the end for joining. Thanks for the tours! Lovely area to be.
Thank you for sharing your trip with us. What a special trip it was with your mother. How special it was to have your mother return to the village to which she was evacuated. the crafting was fun to see also. I do love Hardinger, and I’ve always been fascinated by tatting. . . . Someday. Until the next time. Salam wa sa’aadah
What a lovely video to sit and watch. It was lovely to meet your mum, I cant believe her age ! I found it really interesting to hear her memories of being evacuated during the war. X
Helen, your videos are just excellent! It has been so interesting to 'go on a trip' with you and your mum. Very nice that you have a chance to spend quality time with each other. I was fortunate to be able to do that with my mum too, but unfortunately she died of cancer in her early 70's. Four years later my dad died. Both my parents are a great miss. Looking forward to watching another of your videos this afternoon. I need to catch up on them all but I don't really keep very well and I'm often very tired. But I'll get there!! :) Helen, do you make items for other people. I desperately need some project bags and I wonder if I sent the fabric and payment if you could make me a couple? Or do you know someone who can? Oh, by the way, I LOVE your piano playing. It relaxes me SO much and while I was watching this video I nodded off!! You're great Helen and it was marvellous to meet your mum xx
Thank you so much, Kate! I'm glad that you had a chance to do crafting with your mum, but sorry to hear that neither of your parents are with you any longer. The times away with my mum are very special indeed and I appreciate every moment. If you get in touch with me via my email address (see the description box below the video) I may possibly be able to suggest something for your need for bags. But give me a few days to respond as I'm off in the campervan at the moment! I'm so glad you enjoy my piano playing, too! xx
What a lovely holiday with your Mum, and enjoying lots of crafting, they are very special times for you both….thank you so much for all the great information on all the places you visit… I always look forward to you vlogs so much as we learn so much from them. Take care and looking forward to the next one!! x x x 🥰
Joy joy joy just found your vlog and subscribed I also follow Kate at the last homely house and this is just beautiful as well will enjoy watching you in the future xx

Watching your lovely time with your mom. My mom would have been 93 today and we would craft together along with my sister.😢 miss her.
Thank you - it's lovely that you had that crafting time with your mom and hopefully, even though you miss her, you have lots of happy memories. x
Lovely video of tranquility & relaxation. Thank you for sharing this beautiful journey with us. Cheers. 💖
Thank you - it's my pleasure! x
Very special indeed. Sharing precious moments with your mom will always be in your memory. Thank you for taking us along. Best wishes from Tennessee.
Thank you, Peggy - it was my pleasure!
Xx
Thank you, Carolyn - I'm glad to know that you enjoyed spending time with me (and my mum)! I hope you'll enjoy some of my other podcasts, too!
I love your podcast and always seem to learn something too. Lovely spending time with you and your mum x
@@knittingpange Thank you, Angela - I'm glad you enjoyed spending time with us! x
I hope you enjoy watching the tatting - I definitely found it quite a challenge! x
What a special holiday with your mum to this lovely area, what a wealth of knowledge your mum is with her crafting skills and loved her needle case. thanks x
Thank you, Maude - it was my pleasure! x
I'm delighted that I could help you to revisit the area through my podcast today! xx
My mum always said when you go to places don’t forget to look up.I think from now on I will be going to the lavatorium.Good to hear your mum.xxx🐝🐝🐝
I agree with your mum - we often miss things if we don't look up! xx
Beautiful Thankyou for taking me along 😊

Such wonderful sights!! I love seeing the beautiful historical buildings. But Im so jealous of your time sitting and crafting together, just lovely!!!
Thank you, Evie - it really was a very lovely trip!
Thank you so much, Donna - I'm so glad you enjoyed spending time with me (and my mum). Sending greetings to you from Durham, UK! x
Helen, thank you so much for the delightful video. What a talented lady you Mum is. I so enjoyed being on your walk and the outing to Hexham. Take care and a big thankyou.
Thank you, Margaret- it was a pleasure to share these things with you and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! xx
Wonderful thank you podcast
Thank you!
Fantastic video - enjoyed the sightseeing and hearing the history. So special to hear your mother’s personal story and connection to the area. I’m new to your channel through this video and have subscribed. I look forward to seeing more. Best wishes to you.
Thank you - it was my pleasure! Thanks, too, for joining me and taking the time to leave a comment - it is much appreciated! x
❤ A beautiful and enjoyable video. Thank you!
Thank you - I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
How lovely, thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you, Mandy - you are very welcome! x
It's lovely to know a little about you, too - I love it that we can make these connections across the miles! x
Not had the pleasure with your videos but watched this smashing and delightful dear
Thank you!
That was lovely, and I'm so relaxed! Beautiful!
Thank you so much!
See you next time! x
Merci beaucoup !😊
Thank you - it's my pleasure!
Your mum is looking well! I enjoyed her reminiscing. Hexham is definitely worth a visit.
Thank you, Margaret- yes, my mum isn't doing too badly! Hexham is indeed a very interesting place. xx
Hello Helen, I just found your lovely channel and I’m going to subscribe. I’m Irish living in NY for the past 34 years and I’ve really enjoyed going along with you on your travels with your Mam. It’s so restful watching you both doing your crafting together. Bless you both.
Thank you for joining me, Mary, and for taking the time to leave a lovely comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed this little trip that I took with my mum.
Loved this episode Helen and your Mum. So great to see the stay scenery. Beautiful places I will never see.. so thank you so much for this. The village is so beautiful and Hexham is unreal.
Thank you, Barbara, for taking the time to leave a lovely comment - I love being able to share these beautiful places with you!
I just love your video. Glad you and you mother could go. Beautiful scenery. I am from the US.
Thank you, Lisa! I'm happy that you enjoyed watching! Sending greetings from England.
Thank you, Marlies! I’m very happy to make you feel welcome in my little corner of UA-cam!
Thank you for sharing your holiday, looking forward to the tatting 😊
Thank you - you are very welcome! x
Wonderful the place of my dreams!
Thank you - we had such a lovely break there!
Lovely .... so pleased you enjoyed my local town and that you had some sunshine which is very rare at the moment...x
Thank you, Andrea - Hexham is such a lovely and interesting place! x
Lovely video …very interesting . Thank you. Alison.
Thank you, Alison - I'm glad you enjoyed watching! x
I have to say she has good genes to see cross stitch & hardanger without a magnifying glass like me lol What happy memories for you both ❤
Thank you - I'm very happy that I could share this little trip with you! xx
I love the way we can make these connections and I hope that you will continue to enjoy my podcasts. x
Just delightful!

What a beautiful cottage and love your tutorial
Thank you, Janice! It was a lovely place to stay.
We really had a lovely trip and I'm happy that I could share it with you! xx
A lovely visit. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to seeing you learn tatting. It is a craft I tried 30 years ago! Happiest stitching.
Thank you Jean - I'm looking forward to sharing my tatting efforts next time!
Thank you, Heather - we really did have a lovely few days together! I'm so glad you enjoyed joining us. xx
I have just watched your leaf poems. They brought joy beyond explanation 😁🥰
From North Yorkshire 😁🌷
I’m so glad to know that those little leaf poems brought you joy! Thank you! xx
Tfs Helen.😊
I'm so glad that you're still enjoying catching up with me! My mum and I had a truly lovely stay - a special time. xx
I have just found your channel today. What a lovely visit. Thank you for sharing your beautiful adventure with us.
Thank you so much - it's my pleasure!
Lovely. Such a joy to watch ……. And I live near Hexham ❤
Thank you, Jill - it’s my pleasure! And very lovely to live near Hexham! x
Thank you, Susan! How lovely that you live in a place with the same name! I'm glad you enjoyed spending a little time with my mum and I. x

Take care,
Marina
:) I left an almost identical comment :). Helen attracts like minded people 🤩
Hi Marina, I'm so glad that I could take you away on this lovely little holiday with my mum and I do feel so fortunate to have such a lovely crafty companion!
Do tell her that we love her too 🥰🤗
Thank you, Isabel, it was altogether a very lovely trip and I feel very fortunate that I was able to spend this quality time with my mum and also to be able to share it with you! xx
Just found you. Lovely video. You are so lucky to have your mum and sharing your lovely crafts.
Thank you - I'm so glad you enjoyed spending time with me!
Thank you, Sarah - I'm so fortunate to have these special times with my mum and loved being able to share some of our trip away! xx

Thank you, Nancy, and lovely to know that you enjoy tatting! x

Thank you, Donna - I'm so glad to hear how much you enjoyed this week's video! xx
Very pleased to have discovered your YT channel. xxx
Thank you, Marsha!
