Yay I didn't expect to get another video so soon! We are getting spoiled 😅 This video is soooo informative! I was actually wanting to know how to do hard gel on my natural nail! I bought the same hard gel from watching your video but didn't really know what to do with it 😅 Now that you have explained, I'll get my hard gel applied today! Thank you Anne and have a Merry Christmas! 🤶🎅🎄❤❤❤
I have the same ring that you have on your left ring finger. Anne this is an AMAZING video. Thank you so very much for doing this video. I’ve learned so much ❤❤❤.
Excellent advice! Getting a decent ($80) e-file was a game changer for me. I also recommend a filter to collect the dust. If you don’t have a filter, at least wear a mask. Hope you have a wonderful and restful break!
Yes! A good efile definitely helps with some extreme filing (removing my nails since I don't soak off 🥲) Also yes! I use a disposable filter as well as the regular one, and always where a mask and my glasses when I'm doing extreme filing 🥰❤️🫶
Just discovered your channel! Love my mini mandrel bit! It's the only bit I use for the cuticles. Thank you for not being a fan of cutting the cuticle skin! it's so dangerous! MelodySuzie does make a cuticle ball bit, designed to be used not on the nail, but the skin around the cuticle! There's a fine grit option and it does literally remove any stray bits! May have to try the IBD hard gel! It looks great! OH! And, edited to say, I LOVE your tree of life ring on your right thumb!
Thank yoooouuu!!! 🥹❤️🫶 I definitely need to try using the round bit for the excess cuticle skin 🫢 Also, i found the ring at TJmaxx a long time ago but they always have stuff like 🥰
camera looks amazing! i use the jello-jello peel off but now im really considering a hard gel layer, especially since my nails are naturally really weak. i also can't wait for the organization video!
Thank youuu!!! 🥹💖 I hope i can get the background looking cute with the polishes and some more lights eventually 😭✨️💗🫶 I also used to use Jello Jello peel off, and it made my nails so thinnn 🫠 it's like the main reason I started using the hard gelll but some people swear by the Jello Jello peel off base sooo I think it just doesn't like me 😅

i clearly need to try out a new base coat, i always struggle with lifting after about a week! thankfully i like changing out my nails anyways lol. looking forward to all the nail designs from everyone for the holidays!
hi anne! love your vids so much!! i was looking to get a new camera to improve my content. is there any chance you can tell me what cameras you use? 🫶🏻
Hiiiii I have recently started doing my nails and I have a question. I’m from the uk and it pacifically says do not dispose of rubbing alcohol. What do you do with lint free pad that has isopropyl alcohol on it? And by the way I’ve watched you for awhile and you’re the reason I do my nails now ❤❤❤
Every nail UA-camr says sorry I have "crusty dusty nails" never once have i actually seen them with said nails. In other words, they're fine, natural. ❤ Okay, yes, second time around, they were crusty!
I hate an uneven cuticle line. I could never get nippers to work perfectly but then I tried the little round ball bits and those are freaking amazing for getting a smooth cuticle without having to use nippers at all.
Loved this video, SO helpful! Just one question! If you were to put on full cover tips now, you would glue them onto the topcoat you just put on and cured? You would not rough up the hard gel, dehydrate it (and get rid of any dust from roughing it up) and glue them onto the roughed up hard gel?
Good question! If I waited for longer than a day (which is when I'd use a top coat) then I'd rough up and dehydrate the top coat. However, if I was planning on putting the new nails on right away, I would skip the top coat and just stick them on directly to the hard gel (since the top coat is just to keep my nails looking clean in the time being) 🤗❤️
Are you planning on filming a video of you organising your gel polish? I would love to see it and can't wait for that video if you are going to film it! 🩷🖤💅🏻
Hi sweetie! ❤ Have you thought of using efile bits to trim the cuticle instead of cutting? I am trained nail tech and im still intimidated to use nippers, so scared to nip someone! I thought to start practising efiling cuticle area, also bits are cheaper than nippers when the sharpness wear off!
Yeup! The hard gel is just part of my prep specifically, but if you don't do the hardgel layer you would go in with your nail tips! Or you can do your hard gel, skip the top coat, and just go straight in with your tips or acrylic 🥰
Another great video. I love your energy. Can’t wait until you do the subscribers Christmas video. First Christmas without my mom so i know the video will bring me some joy. She liked my Christmas nails. 🤗🤗💋💋

Hey girly I saw something recently and I was wondering if you’d seen it or heard of it before, it definitely made me think of you. I know you’ve said you don’t play as many pc games because you can’t when you have xl nails on, but I saw a silicone (I think) keyboard cover specially for people with long nails.
