I just changed glowplugs on my Citroen c4 gp with 2.0 hdi, read all kinds of scary stories that they snap in the engine, the hardest part was getting to them behind the engine without snapping rusty bolts you could not get to fix! The plugs just took like ten minutes to change and i was like - was that it and felt very lucky.

I've used a piece of MIG wire, with the weld ball on the end, to clean out that pipe..
Do you guys cover Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire? I have a w212 62 plate E250. I had a gearbox service, and the DPF issues starting not long after (I doubt it's related to the gearbox service). I've already had 1 DPF forced regen that lasted about 2 weeks. The car is not quite in limp mode but defo harsher/late gear changes and lack of power.
EM light is on. Used Autel MK808s to scan. The only current and active error was for the soot level not ok. Not sure if it's a pressure sensor, a small pipe split or what.

Let me understand something. I have the same motor on my renault and i have the same problems like here in the video. I replace the sensor and i clear the pipe from the sensor you clear too. and now at iddle my particle pressure is like 5,and after i accelerate is going to maximum 40... So far all good,but i have a laggy acceleration so i ordered also the oxigen sensor(it show at iddle 0.860 volts,and when i accelerate it go up to 1.2 volts)
Should i replace also the glow plugs? To prevent the dpf to be clogged again?
Please answer..
PS i was by renault service and they ask me a lot of monney and they dont even fix the problem,and i decided to do it by my self after i see your videos. So thanks...

question, why when doing the relay test for the glow plugs, was 2.9v ok? I would expect battery voltage at the glow plug terminal?

1,check injection system
2,check anti pollution
So I did change my glow plug but this 2 message still there
And now in obd
P0471 Exhaust Pressure Sensor Circuit
P1641 Coolant Heater Control Module
Control Circuit
Now I don’t know what to do

Thats going to do a timing chain delete on itself! Oil not changed enough.
Glow plug torque is 14 Nm according to service manual.
What do you think of the Topdon Sean? Would like the one you use but too expensive as won't use it too much. I'll buy that one off you if Topdon will allow it? cheers

Wrong engine oil causes that pipe to block. I would check the egr valve and intake manifold.
The lack of a search bar on the Topdon is a major omission 😢

timing chain is way out if they are not going to repair it soon they need to say goodbye to engine
If you don't reset service light dpf will block again! This goes for renault and nissan.
Why so selfish? put some grease on the treads of the plugs for the next mechanic

Would you mind to answer one question please.
Have 2016 Renault trafic 1.6 with code df025 on diagnostic machine.
Check glow plugs for resistance and seems like only one glow plug failed.
No warning lights on dash but bit hard to start at cold temperatures.
So would 1 faulty glow plug affect starting the engine and would 1 faulty glow plug through the code on ecu?

1 faulty glow plug should not affect starting but it will chuck a code
Mine startet a bit worse when 1 of my 4 plugs was broken
My van is very sluggish to start in cold weather but never failed to start. Altonator and new battery gone Iinto it. No change. You reckon it's a glow plug issue,
