Good tips. You might want to add that the shortest distance around the track is not usually the fastest. With rental karts, especially, the larger radius of the racing line allows you maintain speed better through the corners, even though it is a longer path. This way you don't have to wait for the kart to slowly accelerate out each corner; it's already going faster.
Similar to when you have a racing car that has more top end speed and is decent at handling? You can’t expect to take the same line coming out corners as a great handling car and come out just as fast, you have to work with your cars advantages and realize the better handling car will be faster through corners so you must take a line that helps you get on the pedal faster without slowing too much through corners

Hola, Solid advise, simple to the point, easy to follow, excellent vid work, adding visual "in kart" proof to the puddin'. Great instruction vid, could be used as a quick tutorial for newby rental clients. Pedal to the metal mi amigo
Got my first sub 75 lap time up there yesterday finally starting to get in the groove of karting been in love with racing for some time now and I run the sim a lot but it definitely different then karting 😂
Most importantly, make sure that u heat up ur tyres. I've seen enough people going full speed on the outlap, ending up into the tyre barrier cause they understeered.
in some turns the apex is earlier or later or you need to get out of the turn on the inside to set yourself up for another turn quickly afterwars, but generally the out-in-out line is the fastest
Relax, smooth in fast out, brake as late as possible, use the whole track, minimum steering, and so on 👍
Pro tip: watch series at KaldroStream. Been using it for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
@Lorenzo Anthony yea, been using kaldroStream for since november myself =)
@@lorenzoanthony6807 can you send me a link please?
@@michaelmccabe2404 they are bots man "kaldostream" is a scam website
Very true, often I am faster in practice with older tires than in quali just cause I'm overpushing

Question. Isnt it better to only let go of gas (and dont brake) and just steer more to stay on the track?
It depends on the turn and speed going into it but that is also a technique you can use.
I've found you need to brake whilst turning to the kart to rotate.
You gotta learn how to trail brake through a corner you can carry far more speed, sometimes it’s better to take a late apex to carry more speed
Wear shoes
Race starting in 10 minutes wish me luck
Exactly explanation format I was looking for. Nice tips with great camera angles and examples. Keep it up!

Some advice for driving a shifter kart would be appreciated!! not the basics, as you already have a video, but for driving corners etc.
Thanks very useful 👍🏻
put your hands at the wides point
How do you get your GoPro to her you while you’re driving?
You know i try to follow your asvixe
, but the race track of my city is so narrow, that makes drifting an innevitable option😢
The only time jerking and some drifting is good is for hair pins as long as you don't bog up the tires depends on the surfaces and how fast your going
really really good explained mate
Man all your videos are gold
Thank you
Bravo Bravo! Stunning video!!!!! I'm using these tips for IRacing! Do you do any online sim racing?
I do not SIM race.
Nice tips! Will definitely use them!
Awesome vid!
+Matthew Hidalgo Thank you Matthew for taking the time to watch and comment!
What about trail braking?
Very nice man
Orrrrr pro tip, kick out your brake and just press of the gas, you never have to loose a lot of speed just spam your brake
not sure I totally agree with the racing line.......in single speed karts sometimes the racing line is slower. Like 180 degree corners or hair pins.
