I'm a Christian man married to a wonderful Christian woman. This is my first exposure to this channel. o7 salute, well said, sister. Motherhood, helping, validating, none of these things are demeaning unless one's pride deems them so. Scripture describes the Holy Spirit as our Helper. Wives also act as helpers. This is something God sees as honorable and worthy of esteem. Yesterday, I did the dishes and my wife thanked me for beating her to it, she was surprised. Glad she appreciated it. This also tells me it'd be great for me to do even more, I'll see if I can beat her to the punch on the laundry next time. In our family, I'm the sole worker doing 40 hours. I appreciate how she makes our house a home. It wouldn't be a home without her and her influence. I'm glad she appreciates what I contribute and provide and that she doesn't demand I do a bunch of other things on top of that, but you can bet that I will chip in even more because she loves me.
That's the point of the rib coming from Adam to create Eve, cause the man is completeed when equally yoked, because he is getting his rib back! The two do become one like puzzle pieces! One joke I have is Adam wasn't getting his work done naming everything, and slaking off, which wasn't good, so God made him a "helpmate" to help him get back to work!,🤭 Eve: You're only half done, should you be skipping rocks on the lake, or giving a name to that fuzzy thing over there?! Adam: Yes dear! 😠 Mumble, mumble, mumble...!😉 Men created many things for women, cause building a washing machine, dish washer, vacuums, and other devices was so they didn't have to beat clothes on rocks, beat rugs on a line, do dishes in a sink, but somehow having machines speed up all the work, and do most of the work for them, it still didn't get us men any more lovin'! Guess that's why many gave up, and watched football?! One thing I can tell you is that Paul (a single guy) was given devine enlightenment to know marriage would be better if couples would live by: 1 Corinthians 7 ESV The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. ... This is what guys need, and it's sad to be married, and yet still be alone, and sex is a one sided reward only allowed, if the woman says so! For a guy this is respect, and intimacy, but when this is taken from him that's when he becomes aloof, and distant, and once his brain is trained that this is how it's going to be then it's very hard for him to be loving again, cause something in him dies towards the wife, so this is vitally important ladies!
I’ve been both a homemaker and a business woman and while men and women both have traditional roles, when a man fusses at doing what traditionally they do, it’s not helpful. Women can do whatever they want but it takes a good man to get a good woman. Don’t expect a woman to he good to you if you’re abusive verbally mentally and physically.
I would say the man is the head, but they are equal in value and contribution. A womans feelings/emotions are one thing that make life worth living, but ONLY if channelled for good. A man being the leader allows her to be in her feminine emotions and contribute this way. (Among other ways...)
I was openly a trans woman and praise the Lord that He brought me out of it. But from a lived experience as one who was very passing as a woman, no, women have far more privileges than men and going back was that much harder because of it. The world doesn't give a rip about men, but as a woman having visibly a hard time with literally anything gets men and women willing to help you no matter what the situation is. Men are expected to have all the answers and fix their situations and if they don't they're belittled and mocked. Also the walking at night thing is equally as dangerous as men as men are more likely to be murdered. Wage gap is also a myth. The list really goes on. No, it's crazy that you make a sweeping judgment without realizing just how good women have it and men really don't. You have zero idea what it's like to be a man while I know what it's like to deal with both of the ups and downs and it was far easier to be a woman than being a man. There's even a documentary you can watch where a woman goes out trying to see what it's like to be a man, and she herself believes it will be a great time. Spoiler, she finds out the opposite and has a mental breakdown over how horrible men are treated.

Until you've walked in the shoes of a man (or you can watch the documentary of the woman that did who even says that being a woman is a privilege), you really don't have any idea what you're talking about. I think you are overlooking the fact that far more men are assaulted each year than women. Yes men can walk alone at night but they can also be assaulted and frequently are!
men having confrontation with each other is ok, only because it smooths those out of discipline; keeping each other in line sort of speak. For example a man who gets bumped into by a undisciplined man; may have a woman tell him dont do anything ANd if all men followed this womans protocol to turn the other cheek you would have an unbalance whereby giving bad undisciplined men a go ahead to bad behavior increasing sexual attacks on women as well. Police cant do all the policing, its always been in us to make stands to show boundaries of what is acceptable within social etiquette. male and female are intrinsically linked in the dance.
That is literally the privilege I’m talking about. Men CAN, women CAN’T. Women can’t even in icecream at a baseball game in peace without someone equating it to sex. Men are more privileged in society 100%, but women and men are equal in importance and love in the Bible.

Women are assumed innocent in a male vs female situation of any sort, women are believed even when telling lies in a court of law against a man, women more often just get the kids in a divorce regardless of how stable or not they are, women's sexualization of men is looked at as flattery towards a guy and society doesn't treat it as the dog behavior it is, men can be groped by women even on camera (this situation was even done in the first captain america movie, that moment wasn't scripted) and it's treated as harmless, etc. You seriously have no idea what you're talking about and your privilege is blind to you.
