Well Corona virus is robbing many of us of our final moments with this quarantine..which is how I got here. searching for strength to endure and cope with not being there for the transitioning.
Me too, my uncle is in the hospice on end of life where he used to work, we aren't allowed to see him until they think he's definitely gonna pass on that day. I don't want him feeling alone at the very end..
I’m about to see my great aunt/god mother tomorrow. She was diagnosed with a rare and terminal brain cancer, she decided to have an emergency surgery otherwise she would have had a few days to live, I’m not sure how much time this surgery has given her, but it’s given her more time. She’s a lively, spunky, fun, and loving woman who was always so strong. We are worried for her husband whose never been without her for over 50 years. I’m incredibly heartbroken something like this happened to her, and for the rest of the family she’s leaving behind. This has been really helpful, as I’m really anxious and unsure of what to say since she is still here…but dying…I’ve only seen family members when they are alive and well then attend their funeral to say goodbye. I’ve never had to say goodbye to someone who is still here with someone I love very much. I know it’s not about me at all, and there are other family members who had more memories and time with her but it’s still been very hard especially without very much support from friends and my immediate family.
My mum is dying ,she has suffered mental illness for years ,but seems so clear minded at the moment .the hospital says she’s facing delusional episodes ,but she’s there .she’s not feeding but when I feed her she eats , not a lot but I know she’s doing it for me .it’s a very excruciating experience ,but what do you do ...
Guys I am terrified. My stepdad is in his final days of cancer. The doctors said two weeks and it’s been five days since we found out. Does anyone have any advice for me

Thank you for this interview.. I have been to a few death cafes where I live and they are invaluable..so appreciate the movement..just opening the space and being present for the flow..and get out of our own way..divine oneness.
Hm.. deffinitely to be open for conversation -if there still is a possibility to communicate of course.. and - not to be afraid of feelings and sharing those with the loved one. But really after 'all is said' -again -if possible- just beeing there -holding hands -and also I believe to tell the dying person - that it's ok to 'leave' and 'let go' when the time to leave this place is near. I was blessed to spend the last 2 weeks with my mom in a hospice home after 3 years of canserfight.. but - every body's journey is different..
Your intro music is a little too positive... honestly this video is not comforting at all. It seems like you're trying to hard to get views and in doing so you've lost all sensitivity. This is not at all beneficial compared to other videos.
Yeah the intro music was sooo inappropriate. I am dealing with a loved one dying of cancer and when I heard the music I was like wtf. Almost felt like a cruel joke. I'm sure they didn't mean it to sound like that though. The commentary wasn't too bad though.
I like to think that we dont have to be afraid of death. What are we afraid of anyway? That we wont see the upcoming things in the world? The fact is we never could nor will see and experience everything. however it still happens. Life happens. The earth will keep on spinning. The edge of the universe will keep turning and twisting creating new things. So what are we afraid of? losing our integrity? just write a book or just a few pages on who you are, what you think and just upload it to the cloud. As long as we do our best on helping others and feeling well we cant ask for more of a person.
