juji did some videos a few years back with magnus mitbo (hes a rock climber) with different implements i thought there was a video where he did a similar implement but I cant find it
@@zachmoyer1849 I believe Magnus doesn't have a chance due to his smaller hand size but his hands are incredibly strong, would love to see him try this dumbbell
@Mer Luzo the only cringe part is when he asked for 10 dollas from brian but the more he talks the more cringe hes becoming But he was overall good cuz he talked
@Mer Luzo Ah yes. Gen Z, where if someone isn't toxic they're "cringe" and that word definitely isn't ironic considering the types of people who typically use it.
I have great grip strength and my dream would be to walk up to my gym and see Juji and Brian standing outside of it with grip challenges lol. I'd be so pumped.. like a kid getting his chance to compete on Legends of the Hidden Temple.
We need way more Brian shaw and juji videos. They have great chemistry. I want to see them do different things other than weights. Like juji used to do rock climbing or highland games.
Awesome video, i read once that Thomas inch actually made a series of dumbells like that so he could train with them, he told people he just got stronger attempting the 176lbs one, but really had more so he could train and step up in weight, there were also rumors that he had a pin that could be taken out so it would rotate to make it easier on the original. Also Thomas inch said Arthur Saxon could not lift it but was bs as he lifted it with ease but i think because Inch was english and Saxon was german there was always a bit of messing about. Brian get Herman Goerner's book Goerner the mighty, would love to see you replicate some of his crazy lifts, one handed deadlift 727lbs, one handed 660lbs deadlift on a thick bar in front of john paul getty for a bet. Guy had the strongest hands of any strongman. Also when your doing that Strongest in history do a episode on Herman Goerner.
Mark Henry lifting and overhead pressing the Thomas Inch is one of my favorite videos. Love seeing these open contests for the general public. More videos like this please!
Juji is a nice addition to the show. Juji is always nice on the show. Also Juji isn't small.. hence the nice comparison. I nicely asked and a nice stranger answered
I've trained grip a few years and have lifted the inch replica fully only 2 times, on the same perfect day. It's definitely a tough one. I'm impressed by the number that lifted the 120lb bell!
This is one of those that looks easy looking at it from our perspective (On Video) but it is actually tough. Not sure if i could do it or not but the way i would go about it would be too squat, grip it as hard as you can an then lift with your legs
I have a 174 lb Thomas inch DB I keep at the gym I go to. My gym has had some beasts come through & not a single person has ever lifted it! Including myself, lol.. I'd love to see someone lift mine. I can close a COC #3 & no one else I know can do that & still, the inch makes me it's bitch every time.
I seen where you took down the picture of Arnold Schwarzenegger… after he said what he said… props to you for standing up for a lot of us… I just subscribed … love you Shaw… USA…..USA. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Only Juji would have the participant actually put in their own money. Every other channel would be like, do this you get a hundred or whatever amount. Because they will make money from video content ad revenue. Juji seems to be very concerned about money.
I happened to watch the Arnold Strongman Classic from 2012. You and Adam Scherr(aka Braun Strowman)were in the same building. You two are some of the greatest men in your businesses. Will there ever be a collaboration between the two of you?
the "underhand grip" is a cupping motion, you will be able to lift heavier this way without the thumb, i doubt anyone being able to reach around a Thomas Inch dumbell.
@@chr970 exactly I truly have become kinda addicted to the grip stuff I've even got my captains of crush 1- 3 and I work masonry so I'll try to grip the biggest ones I can and carry them as long as I can. I love it lol

For me, and maybe it's because I'm English but mark felix is the strongest grip of the strongmen imo. I'd love to see him in a video just to see what he can do
Great try from everyone, does the size of the hand put you at a disadvantage if they are a bit smaller? I don’t think could put my hand around the thing let alone lift it.
I love seeing stuff like this! Community driven videos are always awesome to see! Brian and Juji is pure GOLD!!!
Imagine going out of the gym, and you see BRIAN SHAW standing outside. I'd be so happy
And Juji of course
and you James, you're cool

Rock climbing guys weight 120pound... they can lift their weight easy... its different with dumbells
Climbers usually have high relative strength. But in the absolute strength terms, they are pretty weak. They benefit if they are tiny.

Those are some strong contestants. I don't think people realize how tough the small one is.
This content is gold. Juji and Brian, giving away money, with a challenge. I was amazed at the number of people that got the first one.
That kid was smart getting Brian to sign the 10 dollar bill
Brian's grip is unimaginable. Big hands and strongman make for just utterly absurd grip strength.
Brian's energy and enthusiasm, genuine enthusiasm is amazing and contagious. Be great!!!
Love it! Nice lil action. I wish you d do that more. Thank you.

How does being nice correlate to size 🤔
@@Hhhlll7778 idk where you correlated that question from reading what I wrote.
