Not just 320ish lbs but on a Thomas 1" handle dumbell. I think if it were a regular 350lb dumbell, he could lift i, but the fact of the grip strength included is wild.
Its ALL about the diameter of the handle. With a regular 1" handle, every gym in North America would have at least one guy who could lift 315 like that.
@@urkryptoknight6793 There really is nothing "One Inch" about any of the dumbells. It is the name of the dude who made them popular, and the Inch-likes are all 2 3/8 inches. That is crazy. Y'all are freaking strong. My little ass couldn't beat the first one. Lol. Brian you truly are a giant among men. Your attitude and demeanor are always so positive. That, to me, is the greatest strength. Hots off to you sir.
Man, this is the kind of video I love to see. Lifting that mug is interesting. My brother can lift something like that no problem, but for me it's very difficult...well in theory. My brother randomly lifted a 40lb+ 4" round bar the other day and held it out like a gallon of milk..
Much respect to Mr. Shaw and what he has done in the this sport and for this sport. Well Done Sir. Not just this video but for the years he has being doing this.
GREAT video! and thank you for converting lbs to kg as well!! I know it's more work for the editors but makes all the difference for us guys in other parts of the world.
Absolutely love watching you Brian, even without your evil little brother Eddie! You’re such a positive, encouraging, supportive and inspiring person! Well done to all the Fellas in this video, it never ceases to amaze me the feats of pure strength that you’re all capable of. Keep up the great work all of you, people need and want to be shocked and amazed 👍
This is great! No pun intended. Awesome to see the USA strongmen training with B. Looking forward to seeing them in the Strongest Man on Earth, and of course World's soon! Hope we get too see more of the training.
It's amazing to think that, when these guys are lifting the 176, they're lifting me in a dumbbell. It's also interesting to note that, when compared to the other guys and how they had to quasi lock out their lifts, the only one Brian did this with is the 230, not holding the other ones as long as the other guys did. The strength on him, and really all of the guys, is just unreal. Brian is a monster. A HUGE dude.
I wonder if Brian is letting anyone try the 350. Not saying anyone has asked, but if they did, would he be game? Would he add it to the Shaw Classic? So many questions. Based on what I've seen from Brian and his content he would be more than game, if anything it would push him to pick it up faster.
