I hope all of you are doing great in this self-quarantine time. Here is a video for you all to DIY/thrift flip your clothes to something new, (thrift flip old clothes to new ideas) while staying indoors. The DIYs are basically crop tops and a perfect addition to your closet during this spring.

I love how detailed everything is! Like how you show what the fabric/piece should look like after the stitch so that I can compare mine with yours and see if I messed up. Otherwise, it's the last step when I am trying it out and it looks wonky or it doesn't fit.

Is the white shirt a stretchy shirt or non stretch? - just wondering if i could do this with a bedsheet that is non stretch xD
Ida Söderlund you definitely could, you would just need to have a way to put it on like a zipper or buttons or something, since it wouldn’t just stretch over your head
If your using a bed sheet you could just cut the pieces diagonally (on the bias) it has some stretch n maybe you wouldn’t have to use a zipper or buttons
hey I made it with non stretchy fabric!The key is to make sure you use elastic and go slightly bigger for the pattern (better to make it oversized and then adjust it to fit you rather than smaller)
You could use an elastic :) and adjust the size

patience is the key girl!! 🙌 also I like to go as small as I can with my stitches so it won’t show off while you stretch. ♡♡

Maybe I’m just an old fart, but I remember ruched tops, that I’ve also seen called milkmaid tops, used to be called peasant tops. I can’t keep up with these renamed fashion pieces haha.
