I knew it would be a lot I kind of thought you might have under guessed 🤔 I do kind of the same thing. Since I've been off the road now longer than I expected, I use one of my 5-gallon jugs (minus the pump) with a funnel just large enough for pennies, nickels and dimes. I use the quarters to do laundry so they never last. I put my change in a coffee cup with a lid & every so often take it then dump it into the water jug which sits next to my spare tire in the trunk. It turned out I had to have a dolly + one of the guards came out to help me bring it into the bank. Thankfully I didn't have to pay that 11.9% coinstar charges; however, I ended up with $97.02! Your quarters made a big difference but I was thrilled with my haul🤑. I don't remember exactly when I put the jug back there but I am thankful it was there when I needed it. You had a great deal of will power Kristofer! I think if it was that close to me I would have been checking on it regularly if only because I needed 2¢ CONGRATULATIONS😸
I have a folders coffe container too with a coin slot I cut out like yours. Cept my Can is the small can of of folders. And, mine are mostly pennies but it’s heavy as sh*t! Lol
Yes should add about 10% more on top of that.. I've known exactly how much I've had in my container on 3 separate occasions when I've gladly coin star and not only have they taken their favorite they have taken extra money
While I was in AZ this past winter, my house guest said I had over $100 in spare change lying around my house. It really adds up! That's easily $60, possibly as much as $90
Just to let you know for next time....you can avoid the fee by selecting a gift card.......not all machines offer the same cards, but it is a good way to save some cash and you will likely find a card that you can use at a place you normally frequent.
Personally I would’ve avoided the processing fee & taken the amazon gift card (voucher code) or secondly the SouthWest airlines giftcard. Due to construction at home, many of my purchases have to be experience based.
Hey doll. I had to delete my video. Ugh. No sound for some reason. Weird. Anyway I love ya!!! Hmm as for the change let me guess ohhhhh let me watch the video lol
Hi Kristofer! My first thought was $120.00, because my husband lets me keep the change when I clean out his truck, and it's close to the same amount every year. I didn't know you were going to coin star. I always take my change to my bank and deposit it. My bank has a change counter, and they don't charge a customer anything. So you really had over $130?. What was it? 11.9%? I've never used coin star. 🤑❤💕
Hi Kristofer, Jack Pot! Only you can make a 8 minute video on change and have the viewers dying to know the answer. I guessed wrong by the way, more gas money to keep on traveling : )
Kristofer Travels I wish I could post my little can. Lol It sits on my night stand. Lol I go thru it and get the silver. Right now it’s pretty much clean of the silver stuff. I’ll bet maybe $5 is in it. Maybe I’ll video me dumping my can in coinstar. We’ll see.
I guessed $120 right before you said your guess of $130. I know that cashing it in is a great feeling! Have a great weekend!
That's very cool and I'm very glad you're able to enjoy it on the road. I"m new here. I saw you with RvDebs in Knoxcity. Best wishes on the road.

All good. just something fun 😊 i know i was surprised i had that.
That's it??? I'd fill that thing up in a week.
I knew it was at least $100 because I always save my change, I usually give it to my Grandkids ! ✌🏼🌵
👍🏻💚

Kristofer Travels I did it! I made a video! Go look! 😆
@@aliceandtheninjacats i did silly! I commented already 👍🏻😊
Maybe $125, as there are a lot of quarters in there. 🤠⛺️🎊
You were closer than I, thought it was 120. Always check for silver, a coke machine gave me a silver dime last week.
Yes should add about 10% more on top of that.. I've known exactly how much I've had in my container on 3 separate occasions when I've gladly coin star and not only have they taken their favorite they have taken extra money
Wow. You were like dead on. I would have guessed less. That's a nice savings account.

I'm currently doing this now but I have 2 jars!! lol One for pennies and the other for everthing else. lol
oooh...i like the everything else one 😁😁😁 You probably have a lot
@@KristoferTravelsHomesteading So far I have $30 in my non-penny jar. lol I plan on waiting til the end of the year as well to cash in. lol

Happy to watch your adds hopefully its generating some income for you.
pennies... but it is adding up very very slowly. thank you. I appreciate it 😊
@@KristoferTravelsHomesteading hopefully they build to dollars in no time
Very cool!!! Well I was close after they robbed you of their fee. 💖🎉💜🎉💖
I would have kept the quarters for laundromats.

and now better gas millage!
lol absolutely 😁

yeah it was 132 coin star took 15 bucks. 11.9% highway robbery...lol i was thinking bank but mine is a union in California.
@@KristoferTravelsHomesteading You guessed $130, you were the closes. Lol! 😁👍
U just take my change to the bank. Coin Star is a ripoff.
I agree.
I saved 185.00 one year. It’s crazy how much change can be generated. Now I give the pennies to the great grand kids and use my change on the road .
$200, now I'll finish watching...
Haha, guessed high. So much silver it threw me. :-)
Good guess though ... it was a lot of silver.
You've wasted $15.00 towards processing fees. Rolling the coins into rolls and giving the rolled coins to the bank teller would save you $15.00.
You are so very right. This was just a fun thing to do. If I was serious and couldn't afford to lose money on a fee then a bank is the way to go.
Have no ideal but I have a 5gallon water bottle full myself lol
wow that must be 1000 bucks
Lookup Cassida C200 on amazon. A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion
Just looked at it. That is awesome! Thank you 👍🏻
Kristofer Travels
Yeah no problem Kris
Do you check the dates to see if your pennies, nickles, dimes, quarters are worth any money?
$118.56 lol
