THANK YOU... for the great video 😉🙏👌... yes mines are exactly the same setup (triple rate spring)... I actually just ordered the seal kit mins ago ... question, did you charge them with air or with nitrogen (ive been reading about it, concluding its almost the same and no issues on aluminium reservoirs, but not 100% sure)
Hey man, question - I have a couple manuals for various shocks laying around and the rebuild procedure usually calls for pumping the bladder up to about 7-15 PSI when doing the initial install, and then pumping the piston head up and down the shock body to bleed any residual air bubbles out of the system before you seal it up. Did you happen to do any of that and if not - have you noticed any odd behavior in your shock? I have a 1989 Honda I'm working on (not an FL, a dirt bike) with a remote rezzie shock and I'm about ready to re-fill and gas it up, I'm a bit paranoid on the procedure - don't wanna mess anything up and then have to do it all over again.
bryan marin used a small punch kept tapping it from the inside until it came out. I tried to video it but I didn’t have a stand for camera. So it was way to shaky.
Maybe watch part 1 for disassembly. Setting up springs. That’s pretty self explanatory put springs and spacers back on the same way they came off. The valve has 4 holes all the same size. With 3 balls and springs. I was told from the owner of works take out and zip tie it together so that I would loose the ball and spring. So it is a completed rebuild. Replaced what needed to be replaced and put back together
Again, thank you.
thanks man for the videos, I bought a old pair of works for my Blaster for 100 bucks, their ruff but thats ok, I will rebuild and restore them
Great videos man, I am sure it will help many people out there trying to rebuild their own shocks .. and these are exactly as mines ... kudos
bryan marin thanks man. Are yours triple rate springs as well. Curious what setup your cross over spacers are in.

bryan marin I had a fox air pump that I used. So just regular air.
Awesome 👌

hey there..I believe I did put some pressure in the bladder, but never stroked the piston. wouldnt be a bad idea.
Are you just filling them with air?
Yeah. Supposed to use nitrogen. But this works
Do you know what is the rear Showa shock oil seal size of CB1300? I guess it is 12 * 24 * 5.
WAY incomplete. What was the resevoir oil filling, shock oil filling, bladder installing sequence? How much oil in each? Purging air?
Yeah - what was he 'pumping up?'
Did it the way the manual said to.
You didn't replace valve/piston ring?
Was no need to. I talked with the guy at works for an hour and we decided what needed to be ordered. He was super helpful
@@fullyford I didn't realize Worx was live!
@@yorkchris10 they even have the same old phone number
Hey man, quick question, how did you remove the dust seals from the heads??
bryan marin used a small punch kept tapping it from the inside until it came out. I tried to video it but I didn’t have a stand for camera. So it was way to shaky.
@@fullyford awesome, thank you again !! Iam on that step now, got the seal kit already .. 👌
bryan marin just take your time so you don’t scratch the edges. They are a tight press fit.
Incomplete Rebuild - What about disassembling and Setting-Up Springs - Balls with Piston various holes ?
