That wouldn't work. And to get the stock one off the shaft you have to take off the piston and all the valving. The clevis end of the shaft is permanently mounted as far as I can tell.
hello friend I hope you read this message, I would like to know where you get the spare parts to repair the monoshock... I await your response very attentive thanks have a nice day
@@thegolfdude Oh of course, all the shock manufacturers have been wasting their time putting in nitrogen in, when all the time they could of just used air. They really should of listened to you and saved themselves all that money and bother.

You skipped right over the hard part. How the hell do you get the damn circlip out of the shock body. I gave up before I scratched the crap out of my shock's body. I tried every pick and small screw driver I had in my shop but there was no way to get behind the clip without scraping up the inside of the body adjacent to the clip groove.
Great Work. What should the air pressure be in the bladder? It looked like about 150psi... tough to read off from the gauge :)
I don't remember, but probably 175psi 12bar
Good video. The thumbnail shows many o-rings and seals, I expected them to be shown in the video but they aren't. So where are they mounted?
I did not take it apart .it was just washed .it is PISTON,SHOCKABSORBER ,mounted 8:36
Can I replace shock bumper without total disassembly? Is there a split, wraparound bumper?

You need to fill it with nitrogen, as air expands and contracts too much and is full of moisture.
Air is mostly nitrogen just fyi

@@Steve-s8k nitrogen isn't expensive. The air is made up of 70% of it. Keep trying to be smart but lookin like an ass
You just saved me from watching it then 😂
lol no nitro have fun with that instant sag and shock explosion after the first lap
motorcycle for the forest, not for the track
