I always wonder how it is possible for EMS not to be counterproductive to neuromodulators which essentially freeze muscles to stop them from contracting and creating wrinkles. It seems that using EMS which stimulates muscles might shorten the efficacy duration of Botox, etc. I can’t find any empirical research that addresses this and I haven’t seen this concisely explained. Love your channel; thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love this in-depth review! I've been wanting to get this product but am wondering if EMS devices like the age-R device can be used on those with dental implants, root canals, or metal amalgam. Any insight is helpful, I wasn't able to find their contraindications on the website.
I hear you, I am not sure specifically about that. You def feel some zinging around the mouth area / teeth. I have filling and a root canal! I remember there being contraindications somewhere, the only think I recall is not performing it over the neck.
I love the device if you have a great skincare routine already in place. It’s not going to lift like a face lift so I don’t want you to get the wrong impression. It’s a great addition to a solid skincare routine.
I would have liked to know more about the "effectiveness" of this device long term!... Specifically, does strengthening the muscles of the face actually make a difference?
Its a good question, there certainly could be more research on this device. I recommend it if you have the rest of the skin routine in order. The massage prob has temporary benefits and stimulating the skin likely increases blood flow for glowlyness and absorption of products. Out facial muscles dont change as much as we age, usually its the fat changes and skin laxity and tendon laxity!
@@madisona3907 Hello! I would actually love to gift this for my mom and granny. Can I know what was your starting situation and which kind of amelioration you first notice please? Did you ever had pain or discomfort? I really hope (with this price) that it can help them, without having to go see a surgeon or have any painful treatments. Thank you for your possible response. Have a great day! ^^
Thx for the video, do you have any further insights on potential loss of fat in your face. The settings dont give info on hertz or microamperes, and if too high there is studies and evidence that it will melt fat. Most companies dont talk about these data points which is infuriating.
I think if you have the time in your day to stay consistent with it and the rest of your skincare routine (vitamin C, sunscreen, retinol/retinoid) is solid then it's a great addition.
The device is easy to use. When watching the video of a dermatologist, I don’t want to know how to operate the device (any housewife can do that), but I want to know the professional opinion of a skin expert about its efficiency.
Thank you for the feedback, Anne-Kristin. I appreciate you watching. I'm going to paste this hear because I answered another viewers question just a moment ago. So, like with any skincare, I personally would not expect results immediately after treatment. Like nearly any good skincare results take time. I would expect this to work over weeks and months. Kinda how I described in the video, I don't think this is going to revolutionize anyone's skincare. BUT! If you already have great skincare in line, and you have a good regimen this is a nice addition if you have the time to add this to your routine. I suppose it is possible to notice some slimming benefits immediately because you are massaging fluid / draining fluid through your lymphatics. The muscle stimulation is definitely going to take time to see results though. So not everyone needs every product but for the right person, this is a nice addition. Again, unlike any of the other devices I have used this you can feel doing what it says it does.
@@SwoleMDSkincare Are there cheaper alternatives for someone who just wants to promote fluid circulation and reduce facial swelling? I often get swelling in the morning and I'm looking for something that'll get rid of that.
I have been using both devices since I got them in the mail. At least once a week when I'm too busy. The most is 4 times a week when I have more free time. I will do it in day sometimes or at night before bed. I feel the devices work. Like really well, not like other cheap products I've used in the past. I do see a difference in my face in a short time. I have not used it on my body yet.

@@SwoleMDSkincare I have been using the 2 devices at least once a week or 3 times if I have the available. I do see really good results with my skin. After these many months I have noticed firmer skin of my face and neck.
Thank you so much for this. Would you recommend layering any other devices along with the medicine EMS device? Example ( LED Mask, NUFACE Micro current , Medicube Deep Shot) etc.. and if so, which device would you use first ? ( in what order) I’m having a hard time, knowing when to use devices and with what and how frequent!! Thank you in advance!
I would look at the email that you received during the ordering process and go to their website. The few people I have talked with who dealt with customer service were able to get their issues resolved pretty easily! So sorry to hear about the trouble!
Hello! Thank you for the review. I'm wondering how soon this device can be used if I've gotten facial treatments like ablative or non-ablative lasers or OPT/IPL. Is it as soon as I feel the skin has heeled or should I wait for at least a certain amount of time? Thank you
After cleansing, apply an oil-free toner then apply the booster gel and use this device as the next step. Afterwards you can add a serum or just apply a moisturizer to seal everything in. You don’t want to use any products with oil before using this device because oil can interfere with the conductivity of the EMS.
Hi, I was wondering if this device would cause some pain over like if you have dental work such as crowns and fillings and stuff? And also can this be used along side with microcurrent? As always I appreciate your feedback Thanks!!!
You definitely feel this some in your teeth when using it around your jaw line. Not sure if that would be any different or worse with dental work! Yep it could be used alongside. I think either would accomplish the job though.
Love these devices from medicub but I HATE how it feels in my teeth. It’s horrible, thibking if doing it with a mouth guard because to me it’s actually painful
Very good point, yes you def feel the zing pretty good around the mouth. Around the eyes the twitching of the muscles can be pretty intense but around the mouth feeling the zing in the teeth is pretty prominent!
Hello! Could I ask if this device would help with slimming the jaw? I have a relatively square looking face and am looking at masseter botox to slim my face down. But I chanced upon this product and was wondering if it would be able to give off the same effect a masseter botox does? Or does it instead make my jaw muscles larger? :’) Thank you!
I wouldn’t count on this to slim the lower face. Your idea about Botox is very effective when done every 6 months or so! Thanks for the great question I want to make sure to answer them all so people can be happy to buy or not buy the device!

I would focus more on a good skincare routine or Botox with a dermatologist for that concern! You will be very pleased with Botox! ❤️
Thanks for the review! What age do you think is appropriate to start using this tool?
No harm in starting mid twenties or so when people really start getting into skincare.

does this product help with nasolabial folds?
You can use it there, but often times filler and in the cheeks and nasolabial folds may give you more dramatic and immediate results!
Any impacts if you have beard or some facial hair?
I wouldn't expect any issues with disturbing facial hair!
