I think the implication is that, as you compared it to the voyager, this game IS their voyager, and by finding the secret, you sent a signal back to help them find us, despite humans' best effort to tweak the game to remove this feature

Gotta be honest, couldn't figure out the whole "nothing hidden here no sirree" thing, and the gameplay wasn't compelling enough to look around for all that long.
Can't wait to see you take a crack at it.
If you're playing a few more games in the bundle, I'm really excited to see you tackle IFO. That one was my personal favorite.
*Spoilers*
The theme of the game is an alien message sent through a video game, but a greedy corporation wanted to hide the message and just sell the game. The "fake ending" is meant to be a comically bad, tacked on ending by the corporation in a vain attempt at getting players to stop digging around in the game.
I will let people know, the CosmOS 9 pack has a very wide range in quality of puzzles. Several of the games feel unfinished or are simply not good. It is worth the money, but it is not as great a deal as it first may seem.
Can confirm, Gordianaut is very uninteresting.

This, Linelith, Tendy, IFO, and maybe We Are Definitely The Baddies are the ones that make me happy with this purchase.
Also, while subjectively I love Linelith for its theming, I honestly would've been fine buying Tendy as a standalone, it's that good.
@@CDCHexaku Really? I thought Space Ducks: The Great Escape was #4 for me. The baddies game felt clumsy, underdeveloped, and pointless to me, especially compared to the other tower defense games I've played (although the only one with free placement was bloons). Ducks got an update that made the game more playable, by the way. They increased the speed a tad.

In school I wanted to create a game. And chose 'color a map with triangles' as a concept.
I soon found out you only need 4 colors to color any planar map...
But my friend still reminds me of that game with triangles I supposedly tried to do.

Game suggestion: Card Shark
It’s a game about cheating in gambling. There is a good deal of content with it, albeit tutorial like at times. I feel it could be worth a shot, and that it fits your channel well.
Note: I have yet to see the ending half of gameplay.

After watching the rest of the video I think the game might actually be a reference to the series. I might be wrong, I read it a long time ago.
It could also just be a reference to the three body problem in physics, which the book is also named after

It is only solved for specific scenarios, which, it has been that way for a while now.
@@alkestos Depends on definition of "solved" - it is easy to approximate any n-body system to extreme levels of accuracy without anything fancy. But there aren't exact parametric equations describing it without any error for the general case. I think I've heard it's proven impossible but I might be mixing something up.

I understood very little but was highly entertained
The implication is that the game is a method of contacting aliens... from aliens. The game was made by aliens, and they used it as their own voyager. Rather than engraving their society's history on a golden record, they put it in their game. Humans tried to tweak the game and release it as if they made it (but without the references to aliens), but they found that no matter how they changed it, the alien stuff was always accessible, and not even that hard to find. It also might be implying that by finding the secret, you're sending a signal for the aliens to find us, what with the screen saying "see you soon".

This was a really cool game I think they're missing the cherry on top when you go back through the signal at 100% completion.. something should interrupt you and an ominous message of "they found us... It's too late to go back" would be perfect (after the end message)

in all honesty kinda getting tired of your vids as I'd like to see more pure blind playthroughs, but I cant recall the last vid i've seen of you playing a puzzle game without immediately going "okay so here's how to play and here's the most efficient strategy I've found" as if you've already beaten the game. Opus magnum was especially bad with that. It'd just be better if you were fully transparent with how much you've played of a game or at least went into games more blind than you do right now.
I'm pretty sure he mentions if he's played it before (such as opus magnum) (excluding the first few levels to see if he actually likes it) and otherwise just cuts out his thinking process in order to reduce video length, and in addition he also appears to just be good at puzzle games, obviously I could be wrong, but I don't think I am
He said that he was waiting to make a video on Opus Magnum for a while, which implies he's rather familiar with the game and might have played it before.
@@bookreaderman6715 He literally knew the win condition for the Dome Keeper demo, He doesnt go into games blind anymore which is what he used to do and what I subbed for, but now him acting like he's being an expert on the game as soon as he starts it is getting old.

@@psychs6720 you make a good argument, and I will concede most of the point to you, although I do believe that he at max gets half way for most games as he does appear to actually need to solve later puzzles most of the time
Here's a handy guide for you: if it's a pure puzzle game, I read the Steam page and the tutorial (if there is one), then go in blind. Linelith was blind, The Looker was blind, Meet Me At Noon was blind, Ardor was blind (though not a puzzle game), and this game would have been blind if I didn't mess up my commentary on the second level and have to reshoot from the beginning (this happens more than you think). Otherwise, I play it for a while beforehand to make sure it doesn't suck. Here's the issue with playing games blind: 99% of video games suck. I know this because I play a lot of video games. So, I'm not going to waste my vocal chords on a game that isn't good enough for a video.
Opus Magnum is a problem solving game, not a pure puzzler. I 100%'d it a couple years ago, but it's a game you can return to optimize like Poly Bridge, which is what I'm going for. Dome Keeper is neither a puzzle nor a strategy game, and the win condition is explained to the player before starting the game. I still played it beforehand, but it's an action game, so playing it before doesn't ruin the experience.
This game went full fez and you never go full fez.
