**VIDEO SPOILERS BELOW** Linelith Review, starting with what I liked: - This is the shortest game I've ever seen capable of setting up expectations and delivering not one, but several twists that lead into a satisfying conclusion. This is the ideal puzzle game experience distilled to its very basics and delivered in less than an hour without any filler. - The twists themselves were a wonderful shock, they should have been so obvious but still caught me by surprise. It's always special when a puzzle game can make me laugh from joy. - I love how everything could be done from the very beginning. The player must make the connection themselves rather than receiving some powerup or being spoon-fed the leap in logic. - This game gets a ton of little things right, such as keeping tally of the puzzle progress and making the solved puzzles a solid color. That's all it takes to prevent the player from wasting their time on a tedious puzzle search. - The background song is awfully pretty. It was just one song on loop for 45 straight minutes, and I didn't even get remotely tired of it. - I respect games so much when they end exactly when they're supposed to. @@ygorcraft6943 nono, I very much agree with Alien, if the developers had tried to go TOO extravaganza, with more levels and mechanics, it might've just bloated out the game and it could have even brought the fun down. This seems like a weird combo of The Witness's elegant mechanics, Patrick's simple yet fullfilling puzzles and "aha" moments and Baba with the self-puzzlers. I am ALL HERE for it
Just finished the game before watching as recommended, i would ABSOLUTLEY recommend trying it out before watching. The twist was amazing to figure out, and now it's doing similar things to my vision that the end of witness does.
As much as I'd love to see this as something that got expanded on, I feel like it's better like this. It's the perfect puzzle game, and it's not even that long, if you put your mind to it. Props to the guy that made it, he really knows his stuff.
Oh man, that moment of sheer excitement when he realized you can solve the floors was priceless. I was grinning as soon as he figured it out as well. I'd expect nothing less from the creators of Patrick's Parabox! They're truly puzzle-game making geniuses.
Bro this game looked really fun. I like the idea of just figuring everything out yourself, and the inclusion of even the void into the game. The twist is so unexpected, yet easy to find, which is important in why its appealing. I compare this game to the little shape fitting toys for toddlers, except it's for normal people, yet it is still entertaining.
Yeah love you can realize the full twist before seeing the dots in say the void but that that exists later on so you’d never be stuck. Really elegant, streamlined and just well designed game
Same, the moment i see invironmental puzzle my brain just scream "bro that's the witness!" Would recommend anyone who hasn't watch his playthrough of it yet to watch it

This is an ideal example of a puzzle game MVP (minimum viable product). MVP is a concept of distilling your game into its truest and purest form. To see what's the essential of a game, to see what makes it "fun", and only focus on that. *[minor game spoilers below]* This game doesn't cramp meta UI/level selection stuff (eg Baba Is You) but instead being the meta itself. The dev doesn't include challenge levels or more complex mechanics (eg the Witness) instead they keep it concise. It really is a flawless game who solely focuses on making the full experience from start to finish a fun one. Great job. Props to the dev!
This game designer makes fantastic puzzle games! I watched one episode of your Patrick’s Parabox play through and immediately went and played it. I’m going to be keeping track of their games from now on! Thanks for showing me some really sick puzzle games.
This is incredible, there are literally 3 game mechanics: 1 some puzzle tiles are movable 2 lines must start and end at dead ends 3 vertices with dots must have exactly as many line-occupied tiles around them as they have dots and it's a better puzzle game than the majority of others, even many of the good ones.
This simple looking game is one of the best puzzle games of all time. Nothing flashy, no crazy premise, just lines. And yet it manages to deliver so, so much more
At first, I was confused by why you could move around a museum-like area over a standard level system. Then realising you could become part of the puzzle, it seemed so brilliant. From that I pieced together that the wall was probably a puzzle too, but to think that even the floor was a puzzle... Absolutely astounding design
bought game because of your glowing review at the start of the video so I wouldn't be spoiled watching your playthrough. took me roughly 1 hour, very worth the $3. You found most of the game mechanics before me lol. The only one I found prematurely was the green bricks/walls.
Just finished this game before watching and loved it from start to finish. The only missed opportunity for me is that the progress bar wasn’t also a puzzle.
Bought and played it before watching like suggested. The puzzle at 22:20 I actually solved by putting two blocks near the two dots, so the line could fulfill that requirement without getting trapped there, but too some tight line making to make sure I never blocked myself. Your solution looked much easier to make I don't know why I didn't try it that way rather than get stuck for a short time.
