Finally! Tissot listened to us and actually released the PRX Powermatic 80 in 35mm case size. Perfect for my wrist size. Will definitely get the blue dial variant.
This watch has one of the worst build quality and finishes I've ever seen for the price. The fact that he is promoting it seriously makes me question him as a watch expert.
Just got my 35mm prx powermatic 80 in blue today. Was worried it would be too small as I have a medium wrist, but it just looks perfect and classic. Especially in this design, where the dial Is quite minimalistic, 35 mm suits it so well.
just bought the 40mm version and was so excited when it arrived only to be very let down as it did not fit me. Way too small. I have a 7.75 inch wrist and wasnt even close to being able to clasp it. Looked great, bracelet feels INCREDIBLE for the price, but I've had to remove links from other watches and this one was way too small. I still think it's an awesome watch for smaller wrists but didn't expect it to be so small
Love how Teddy is so technical with the knowledge but conveys this knowledge in layman's terms. Also what a fantastic watch, I have the OG in ice blue but Tissot did right by doing a 35mm.
The PRX model is truly elegant . With an ETA "calibre" and the TISSOT quality, there is no risk of hidden problem. My favorites are the blue and the black dials .
People worry far too much about watch sizes. The thing with the PRX is that fixed first link. The 35mm has a Lug to Lug of less than 40mm but closer to 45mm with the first link. A classic Casio A158 has a diameter of 33mm and looks great on anyone. Wear what suits your wrist and you like wearing, not what people tell you you should wear.
I’ve had my Quartz 35 for a while now and it is so nice having a decent looking “going out” watch that fits my smaller wrist perfectly. It’s smaller, so it’s not quite as flashy, and it’s nice being able to pick it up whenever I don’t want to wear my Seiko-my “around the house” watch, or my LeLocle-my work watch. It’s nice to have while I aim my sights higher for the future.
Good to see watchmakers coming to their senses...........or, at least, Tissot hasn't gone off the deep end to the extent many others have. 35mm is a good size and more appropriate for a 6" or 7" wrist. Or in my case, a 34 or 35mm case size is perfect for a 7" wrist, so thank you Tissot. This looks like a great watch. Really like my other Tissots.
@@nofont167 thanks for the suggestion, I just checked this out now. It looks amazing! Loving the 6 o'clock date window, sunburst dial, and the 36.5mm; 44mm L2L, a sweet spot for me! Definitely a proper OP alternative!

Hi Teddy , I got mine with the Blue dial 3 weeks ago down here in Australia. I absolutely love the 35 mm PRX Powermatic, and it looks great on my 6cm wide wrist. I'm not a fan of big watches, so this is a breath of fresh air ,,as is the lovely bracelet and beautiful blue honeycomb dial......just a great watch and a bargain for the price. Gregg.
Just purchased the blue dial from your site! I started watching your videos back in 2019 and you’re a big part of why I am passionate about this hobby. Feels good to get a watch and support a creator at the same time!
I bought the white (pearl) 35mm a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it, it fits my small wrist perfectly. The subtlety of the pearl is really nice, mostly white as said until it catches at an angle, making it a nice unique dial. Looks smart in different outfits, work and casual. Ps. Love your videos, so helpful in discovery and understanding of watches.
@@CuriousObserver Hey mate, that's a great idea, I thought about that also and to make a collection we can both use. It has been a month or so now and It has not left my wrist. Honestly I would not worry about that, it looks class, mostly a cool white looking fantastic with the great strap. Then when you do get the subtle glimmer of the pearl it just looks really good.
@@CuriousObserver infact I keep finding myself looking at my wrist and rotating it to try and get the right angle to make it reflect the colour, it's quite addictive. Everyone that has seen it, has said it looks great.
I bought the 35mm green automatic and love it. Ive always wanted the prx and i was drawn to it but your technical explanation made me want to buy it but the 40mm looked too big for me. 35mm perfect fit. I highly recommend this
I've owned the 40mm version for a little over a year now and I've always thought it felt a little too large for my wrist size (around 6 1/4). If you've been thinking about picking up the 40mm and your wrist is similar to mine, this 35mm might be the perfect choice for you!
@@messimagisterial4216 I'd recommend going with whatever looks most visually appealing to you; not what others think. My wrist is also about 6.75", but my wrists are disproportionately small. I have 12" forearms and 16" arms. A generic wrist watch sizing guide would recommend something around 38mm for me based on my wrist size, but I never consider anything under 40mm because I think it would look too dainty on me. I generally go for GMT watches in the 42 to 45mm range.
I got my ice blue prx 35mm automatic last week which fits my 6.5 wrist perfectly(depending on my personal preference). In my opinion PRX looks pretty in smaller size due to its integrated bracelet. The 40mm look very bulky towards the bracelet to me. The ice blue dial look very cool👌🏻. Awesome watch for the price. Very happy with the purchase😊.

The 40mm Ice Blue looks perfect on my wrist. I'm happy that the 35mm option exists because smaller wrist sizes are pretty common it seems. That being said, 35mm looks ridiculous on my wrist.
mother of pearl definitely my favorite. Probably would have bought it if it was still in stock.Honestly a little happy it wasn't. While it looks good, I think they could come out with colors that look better. Not thrilled with the contrast with the silver and white of the hour markers and the hands. I'm hoping for some light colored options, either a light blue, light green, grey, or a dark red. The dark blue looks great, I just can't justify another dark blue watch.
Have you tried on a 40? I have about 6.5” wrists and I absolutely love my 40mm. The 35 looked downright tiny with those short lugs. However a 36mm datejust I tried on fits perfect
Think that this Tissot scores very high marks as being a terrific all rounder with it's no nonsense looks and a very good power reserve. Would look good in the office and just as good with jeans and t shirt.
The Powermatic 80 can Absolutely be serviced and regulated. I damaged my Tissot Lelocle Powermatic 80 that I dropped on a marble floor. My local watchmaker was able to fix and regulate with no issue. I think as long as the watchmaker is Swatch certified then there should be no issue.

I've had the green dial since maybe a 3 days after release? So far am loving it, except for no micro adjustment on the bracelet but at least they give half links.
Is the powermatic the same as the full size ? I have seen on other vids that it's not adjustable or serviceable beacause of the plastic base . Nice looking watch and great vid as always . Thanks .
I bought mother of pearl a few weeks ago and I’ve got so many compliments. About to go back and get the black dial too
What is that kind of bracelet called? I’m looking forward to buying one for another watch but for obvious reasons the prx one can’t fit the job, any advise would be great!
I tried on the black dial, its quite a dull colour for this watch and the contrast between the stainless steel and pure black is kinda jarring. Ended up buying the blue variant. Look black in the shadows but still has that "glimmer" in sunlight that brings this watch to life.
No micro adjustment for is a big concern for me. I have the 40mm and it becomes uncomfortable as the day goes by. Removing a link or adding one makes the fit atrocious on the wrist. Hopefully this 35mm will be a better fit.
Tissot dropped the ball by taking so long to release this. I'm no longer excited for the PRX 35mm after seeing the CW The Twelve is coming out in 36mm. The 12 stole my heart

Was eager to buy it, but tissot increased its price to 798.22 dollars in my country.
When are they going to bring out a glacier blue version?
Hoping they scale down the Gentleman to something like 36mm next
Ice blue 35mm when?? Or better yet, a 37mm version!
Can you use the same wrist size back to back when showing different case diameters
Do you think it will be released in gold?
What is that kind of bracelet called? I’m looking forward to buying one for another watch but for obvious reasons the prx one can’t fit the job, any advise would be great!
Absolut homerun for Tissot in this model, the 35mm looks way more refined than the 40mm version.
It’s basically the same watch, how much more refined can it be? lol
@@PineapplePizza1 The proportions, more aesthetically pleasing imo.
TISSOT, you got my money.
They need to add the ice blue to the 35mm powermatic line. I love my quartz version and get more compliments than any other watch I own.
The blue dial and green dial is nice but real question is which one should I get?
Hope they'll manufacture a 37mm PRX chrono 45mm lug-to-lug including the first link next!
I'll wait for the CW Twelve in 36mm.
Black dial for me - it works nicely with the grey printing to blend in better rather than being hit with all that text.
I tried on the black dial, its quite a dull colour for this watch and the contrast between the stainless steel and pure black is kinda jarring. Ended up buying the blue variant. Look black in the shadows but still has that "glimmer" in sunlight that brings this watch to life.
black watches are kinda ehh
35mm is a good size for small wrist and more understatement
No micro adjustment for is a big concern for me. I have the 40mm and it becomes uncomfortable as the day goes by. Removing a link or adding one makes the fit atrocious on the wrist. Hopefully this 35mm will be a better fit.
35mm just feel slightly small, 37 or 38mm would be perfect
It is small compared to modern standards, but I find it quite pleasing. I want that 1970s aesthetics, back when 37 mm was considered "jumbo-size".
@@zuldo8577totally agree, I'm 6.6" and i like it.
But yeah, 38 is the sweet spot
Tissot dropped the ball by taking so long to release this. I'm no longer excited for the PRX 35mm after seeing the CW The Twelve is coming out in 36mm. The 12 stole my heart
