the fact that people call earbuds headphones infuriates me, headphones go all the around your ears and rest on the top of your head, ear buds are small and go in your ears

Earbuds go INSIDE your ears, which these don't... (Although he did mention at one part that they're better than earphones that go in your ears, which he is wrong for). And also not all headphones go all the way around your ears as there are both on ear and over ear models. Well I had Sony headphones and they had a feature where sound pass through can pass through these microphones on headset you can still hear your surroundings at higher volume at the max
You can hear your surroundings with headphones if they have transparency (as long as hou don't have them booming loud; same applies to earphones). I agree they are REALLY GOOD... if you are a runner, please dont lie and say they are crisp, bone conduction is as of now, not that good sounding, these will not provide "crisp" audio, but if you run, try em they still are better than normal headphones as he said.

4: have the band or musician run with you while singing
just use one airpod or similar in one ear
